The present invention relates to a filter used in a humidifier that humidifies a room or the like, and more particularly, to a filter of a humidifier using a water supply tank.

Conventionally, various types of humidifiers such as a vaporization type, a steam type, and an ultrasonic type have been used to humidify a room and the like, and these humidifiers often use tap water. A humidifier replenishes water in a water supply tank to increase indoor humidity. However, tap water contains minerals such as magnesium and calcium, and the room contains water containing these minerals. When the water is humidified, the mineral component contained in the water is also released at the same time, so that the mineral component may precipitate in the room and white powder may be generated.

As a countermeasure, filters such as ion exchange resins that filter tap water into the water tank of the humidifier
A method of installing 92 is often used. As shown in FIG. 4, the filter is used by being placed in a water supply tank 9 by filling a cartridge having a slit 97 on a side surface with an ion exchange resin.
An air hole 98 penetrating vertically is provided on the upper surface of the ion exchange resin cartridge, and a water-permeable net for holding the ion exchange resin is provided on the bottom surface.

The cap 90 of the water supply tank 9 is provided with a double side wall on the tank side, and a spiral groove is provided inside each of the two side walls. In addition, the outer peripheral side wall can be screwed to the lower flange of the tank, and the inner peripheral side wall can be screwed to the ion exchange resin cartridge. further,
A valve 99 is provided at the center of the cap 90 so that water can flow out by moving upward when the water supply tank is attached to the main body 2.

However, when the water level in the tank exceeds the height of the cartridge as shown in FIG. 4, in addition to the flow passing through the slit 97 on the side surface of the cartridge 96, the air holes 98 penetrating up and down the cartridge.
In some cases, the flow into the communication passage 10 occurs, and the filtration efficiency is lowered by the flow of water that does not pass through the ion exchange resin.

The air hole 98 or the pipe 94 is provided with a waterproof and moisture permeable material (a material that achieves both waterproof and moisture permeable properties) at the tip portion or in the middle. That is, a material that allows water vapor to pass but does not pass water is arranged so as to block the entire surface of the air hole 98 or the pipe 94.

In this embodiment, an example in which the water supply unit is provided with a detachable water supply tank 9 is shown. However, in some cases, tap water is supplied from a tap to a water storage unit equivalent to the tank through a hose or a conduit. Therefore, a configuration without the water supply tank 9 can be provided.

The communication path 10 provided in the humidifying part is a water channel for guiding the water that has passed through the ion exchange resin to the ultrasonic vibrator 11, and is an atomization that becomes an atomizing part that is atomized by the ultrasonic vibrator from the water channel Water is introduced into chamber 3. The water guided to the atomization section is made into a mist by the ultrasonic vibrator 11 and is humidified indoors from the mist outflow cylinder 7 by the blower fan 6.

In the above configuration, in the state where humidification is performed, water is continuously supplied to the communication path in the water supply unit. The tap water dropped from the water supply tank is passed through the ion exchange resin, so that mineral components such as magnesium and calcium are efficiently removed to become water suitable for humidification.

On the other hand, the air hole 98 provided in the ion exchange resin 92 or the container 93 is provided with a waterproof and moisture permeable material (a material having both waterproofness and moisture permeability). Since air flows from the side via the air holes, clogging due to internal pressure does not occur. In addition, even if water enters the air hole to some extent, the waterproof and moisture-permeable material serves as a barrier that allows water vapor to pass but does not allow water to pass. Therefore, no water reaches the communication path 10 directly from the air hole, and reaches the communication path. All the water reaches only the water filtered through the ion exchange resin. Therefore,
It has become possible to efficiently remove minerals contained in tap water to be humidified, and to provide a humidifier with improved practicality.
