部屋の天井と家具類の天板の間に突っ張り状態で介在させて使用する家具類の転倒防止装置であって、
上下方向に伸縮自在な内外二重筒構造の支柱と、
前記支柱の伸縮を許容するアンロック状態と当該支柱の収縮を規制するロック状態とに切り替え自在な操作部材と、
前記支柱の上端及び下端にそれぞれ取り付けられた当接部材とを備えており、
前記当接部材は、左右方向中央部に位置する中央部材と、前記中央部材に左右方向に出退自在に装着され、左右方向外側への張り出し状態において当該当接部材の当接幅を拡張させる左右一対の拡張部材とを有することを特徴とする家具類の転倒防止装置。
