Description

The present invention relates to a branching member that branches a waveguide, and a branching structure using the branching member.

Conventional vehicle-mounted communication systems usually use a wire harness using electric wires. However, in an in-vehicle communication system using electric wires, the wire bundle diameter increases with an increase in the number of in-vehicle circuits in recent years, and thus there are problems such as difficulty in securing a vehicle layout space and weighting of the wire harness.

On the other hand, an in-vehicle communication system using a waveguide has also been proposed. An in-vehicle communication system using a waveguide can reduce the transmission path diameter and weight.

By the way, in an in-vehicle communication system using a waveguide, the waveguide is branched using a branch member (see Patent Documents 1 and 2). FIG. 8 shows an example of a branch structure using a conventional branch member. In FIG. 8, the branch structure 50 includes two trunk-side waveguides 51 and 52, one branch-side waveguide 53, and a branch member 60. The branching member 60 includes two trunk-side mounting portions 61 and 62 arranged along a straight line, and one branch-side mounting portion 63 arranged in a direction orthogonal to the two trunk-side mounting portions 61 and 62. The ends of the respective trunk-side waveguides 51 and 52 are mounted on the respective trunk-side mounting portions 61 of the branch member 60, and the ends of the branch-side waveguide 53 are mounted on the branch-side mounting portion 63 of the branch member 60. .

However, since the conventional branching member 60 is attached to the end portions of the two trunk-side waveguides 51 and 52, the branching member 60 can branch only at a preset position in the routing route. Accordingly, as shown in FIG. 9, for example, the trunk-side waveguide 52 disposed between the branch members 60 needs to be set to a dimension S specified in advance. Work is complicated.

In an in-vehicle communication system using electric wires, the electric wires can be freely branched from the backbone wire harness, and the degree of freedom of signal branching is high. However, as described above, the branching is very complicated in the system using the waveguide. Improvement of freedom is required.

Accordingly, the present invention has been made to solve the above-described problems, and provides a branching member that can easily branch the waveguide at a free position in the waveguide routing path and a branching structure using the branching member. The purpose is to do.

The present invention is a branching member for connecting a trunk-side waveguide and a branch-side waveguide, wherein a trunk-side mounting portion that can be mounted on an outer peripheral surface at an intermediate position of the trunk-side waveguide, and a branch-side waveguide A branch member having a branch side mounting portion that can be mounted on an end portion of a pipe.

The trunk-side waveguide and the branch-side waveguide are both a hollow waveguide body formed of a member capable of maintaining the shape, and a conductive coating layer provided on the inner peripheral surface of the waveguide body. Including an electromagnetic wave transmission / reception component capable of transmitting / receiving electromagnetic waves between the inside of the trunk side waveguide and the inside of the branch side waveguide.

It is preferable that the waveguide main body of the trunk side transmission member is provided with easy penetration portions at intervals or continuously along the longitudinal direction.

The easy penetration portion is a hole, and it is preferable that a fixing protrusion that fits into the hole is provided on the trunk side mounting portion.

Another aspect of the present invention is a main-side waveguide, a branch-side waveguide, and a main-side mounting portion that can be mounted on an outer peripheral surface at an intermediate position of the main-side waveguide, and an end portion of the branch-side waveguide. A branch-side mounting portion that includes the branch-side waveguide and the branch member that connects the branch-side waveguide; and the outer periphery of the trunk-side waveguide, the branch-side waveguide, and the branch member The branched structure is characterized in that a conductive film is formed on the surface side.

According to the present invention, since the branch member can be attached at any intermediate position of the trunk side waveguide, the waveguide can be easily branched at a free position in the waveguide routing path.

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.

(First embodiment)
1 and 2 show a first embodiment of the present invention. As shown in FIG. 1A and FIG. 2, the branch structure 1A of the waveguide includes a backbone-side waveguide 2, a branch-side waveguide 3, and a branch member 10A. It is covered with a conductive tape 20 that forms a conductive film (see FIG. 1B).

Both the trunk-side waveguide 2 and the branch-side waveguide 3 are formed from members that can maintain their shapes, and are formed from members through which electromagnetic waves pass, that is, do not affect the transmission of electromagnetic waves. In this embodiment, the trunk side waveguide 2 and the branch side waveguide 3 are formed of a synthetic resin material (for example, a polyfluorinated ethylene fiber), but may be a conductor or a semiconductor, such as paper or metal. It may be formed. The trunk side waveguide 2 and the branch side waveguide 3 are cylindrical, and the inside is formed hollow.

The branching member 10A is formed of a member that can maintain its shape, and is formed of a member that allows electromagnetic waves to pass through, that is, does not affect the transmission of the electromagnetic waves. In this embodiment, the branch member 10A is made of a synthetic resin material (for example, a polyfluorinated ethylene fiber), like the trunk side waveguide 2 and the branch side waveguide 3, but may be a conductor or a semiconductor. Alternatively, it may be formed of paper or metal.

The branch member 10 </ b> A includes a trunk side mounting portion 11 and a branch side mounting portion 12 formed integrally therewith. The trunk side mounting portion 11 has an abutment surface 11 a that can be in close contact with the outside of the outer peripheral surface of the trunk side transmission path member 2. The abutting surface 11a is a substantially semicircular concave surface. That is, the trunk side mounting portion 11 can be mounted in a close contact state at any intermediate position of the trunk side waveguide 2. The branch side mounting portion 12 has a circular fitting hole 12 a that fits into the branch side waveguide 3.

The branching member 10 </ b> A has a trunk side mounting portion 11 mounted on the outer peripheral surface of the trunk side transmission path member 2, and an end of the branching side waveguide 3 is fitted to the branching side mounting portion 12.

The conductive tape 20 covers all the outer peripheral surfaces of the trunk-side waveguide 2, the branch-side waveguide 3, and the branch member 10A without any gaps. The conductive tape 20 is formed of a conductive member such as a copper material or an aluminum material. An adhesive portion (not shown) of the conductive tape 20 is also formed of a conductive material. A conductive film is formed on the outer peripheral surface side of the trunk side waveguide 2, the branch side waveguide 3, and the branch member 10 </ b> A by the conductive tape 20. The conductive tape 20 prevents leakage of electromagnetic waves that pass through the trunk-side waveguide 2, the branch-side waveguide 3, and the branch member 10A.

Since the branch member 10A having the above-described configuration can be mounted at any intermediate position of the trunk-side waveguide 2, the waveguide can be easily branched at a free position in the waveguide routing path. For example, the main waveguide 2 disposed between the branch members 10A does not need to be set to a previously specified dimension. Further, since it is not necessary to divide the main waveguide 2, the number of parts can be reduced.

The trunk side mounting portion 11 of the branching member 10 </ b> A has an abutting surface 11 a that can be in close contact with the outside of the outer circumferential surface of the trunk side waveguide 2. Therefore, the mounting work to the trunk side waveguide 2 is easy.

The trunk-side waveguide 2 and the branch-side waveguide 3 are tubular, but may be tube-shaped or rod-shaped.

(Second Embodiment)
FIGS. 3A and 3B show a second embodiment of the present invention. As shown in FIGS. 3A and 3B, the waveguide branching structure 1B includes a trunk-side waveguide 2, a branch-side waveguide 3, and a branch member, as in the first embodiment. These outer peripheral surfaces are covered with a conductive tape (not shown) that forms a conductive film. The branch member 10B is different from the first embodiment only in the configuration of the trunk side mounting portion 11. That is, the trunk side mounting portion 11 has a through hole 11 b that can penetrate the trunk side transmission path member 2.

Other configurations are the same as those in the above-described embodiment.

The branch member 10B is inserted in the through hole 11b from the end of the trunk-side waveguide 2 and positioned at a desired position. Then, the branching side waveguide 3 is attached to the branching member 10B, and then covered with a conductive tape (not shown).

Since the branch member 10B having the above-described configuration can be mounted at any intermediate position of the trunk-side waveguide 2, the waveguide can be easily branched at any position on the waveguide routing path. For example, as shown in FIG. 3B, the trunk-side waveguide 2 disposed between the branching members 10B does not need to be set to a previously specified dimension as in the conventional example. Further, since it is not necessary to divide the main waveguide 2, the number of parts can be reduced.

(Third embodiment)
4 to 7 show a third embodiment of the present invention. As shown in FIGS. 4 to 6, the waveguide branching structure 1 </ b> C includes a trunk-side waveguide 4, a branching-side waveguide 5, and a branching member 10 </ b> C having an electromagnetic wave transmitting / receiving component 13.

The trunk-side waveguide 4 and the branch-side waveguide 5 are both hollow waveguide bodies 4a and 5a formed from members (for example, vinyl chloride) that can maintain their shapes, and inner circumferences of the waveguide bodies 4a and 5a. It has a two-layer structure with conductive coating layers 4b and 5b provided on the surface. The waveguide main bodies 4a and 5a are provided with holes 6 that are easy to penetrate through at intervals along the longitudinal direction and the circumferential direction. In addition, the penetration easy part is good also as a mesh-shaped part provided continuously.

The branch member 10C is formed of a member (for example, vinyl chloride) that can maintain its shape. The branching member 10 </ b> C includes a trunk-side mounting portion 11 that can be mounted on the outer peripheral surface at the intermediate position of the trunk-side waveguide 4, a branch-side mounting portion 12 that can be mounted on the end of the branch-side waveguide 5, and a trunk-side waveguide. An electromagnetic wave transmitting / receiving component 13 capable of transmitting and receiving electromagnetic waves between the inside of the tube 4 and the inside of the branch side waveguide 5 is provided.

The trunk side mounting portion 11 has an abutting surface 11 a that can be in close contact with the outside of the outer circumferential surface of the trunk side waveguide 4. The abutting surface 11a is a substantially semicircular concave surface. That is, the trunk side mounting portion 11 can be mounted at any intermediate position of the trunk side waveguide 4. Two fixing protrusions 14 are provided on the abutting surface 11a. The fixing protrusion 14 is set to a size that fits into the hole 6 of the waveguide body 4a. The branch side mounting portion 12 has a circular fitting hole 12 a that fits into the branch side waveguide 5.

The branching member 10 </ b> C has a trunk side mounting portion 11 attached to the outer peripheral surface of the trunk side waveguide 4, and an end portion of the branching side waveguide 5 is fitted to the branch side mounting portion 12. The fixing protrusion 14 of the branch member 10C is fitted in the hole 6 of the waveguide body 4a. The electromagnetic wave transmission / reception component 13 has an outer surface covered with a conductive coating layer (not shown). The electromagnetic wave transmitting / receiving component 13 penetrates the conductive coating layer 4 b of the trunk side waveguide 4 and is disposed across both the trunk side waveguide 4 and the branch side waveguide 5.

As shown in FIG. 7, the outer peripheral surfaces of the trunk-side waveguide 4, the branch-side waveguide 5, and the branch member 10 </ b> C may be covered with a restraining tape 21. Thereby, damage to the conductive coating layers 4b and 5b exposed from the holes 6 of the waveguide bodies 4a and 5a can be effectively prevented. Further, the outer peripheral surfaces of the trunk-side waveguide 4, the branch-side waveguide 5, and the branch member 10C may be covered with a conductive tape that forms a conductive film.

Since the branch member 10C having the above-described configuration can be mounted at any intermediate position of the trunk-side waveguide 4, the waveguide can be easily branched at a free position in the waveguide routing path. For example, the main waveguide 4 disposed between the branching members 10C does not need to be set to a dimension specified in advance as in the conventional example. Further, since it is not necessary to divide the main waveguide 4, the number of parts can be reduced.

The trunk side mounting portion 11 of the branching member 10 </ b> C has a configuration having an abutting surface 11 a that can be in close contact with the outside of the outer peripheral surface of the trunk side waveguide 2, but may also have a configuration having a through hole as in the second embodiment. good. In this case, no fixing protrusion is provided.

Holes 6 are provided in the waveguide body 4a of the trunk-side waveguide 4 at intervals along the longitudinal direction and the circumferential direction. Therefore, by using the hole 6, the electromagnetic wave transmitting / receiving component 13 can be easily installed at a desired position in the longitudinal direction and in a desired direction.

The trunk side mounting portion 11 is provided with a fixing protrusion 14 that fits into the hole 6. Therefore, the branch member 10C can be firmly fixed at a predetermined position in the longitudinal direction and in a desired direction.

The electromagnetic wave transmitting / receiving component 13 is a plug-in type that penetrates the conductive coating layer 4b, but may be a signal extraction type.

The branch member 10C is similar to the main waveguide 4 and the branch waveguide 5 in that the waveguide body is formed of a member capable of maintaining its shape (for example, vinyl chloride) and the inner periphery of the waveguide body. It is good also as a two-layer structure with the electroconductive film layer provided in the surface.

Each of the trunk-side waveguides 2 and 4 and the branch-side waveguides 3 and 5 has a circular cross section, but may have any shape that can form a hollow inside (for example, a cylindrical shape with a square cross section). In this case, it goes without saying that the shape of the trunk side mounting portion 11 and the branch side mounting portion 12 of the branch members 10A to 10C are also changed following this.
