Abstract
【解決手段】ターゲットAPは、隣接アクセスポイント(AP)の高スループット(HT)能力を示す高スループット(HT)能力要素の高スループット関連情報を隣接レポートフレームに含めてSTAへ送信し、STAは、高スループット関連情報に基づいてターゲットAPへの基本サービスセット(BSS)遷移を実施する。高スループット(HT)能力要素は、複数のメディアアクセス制御(MAC)プロトコロルデータユニット(MPDU)のフレーム集約フォーマットに関する能力、あるいはブロック肯定応答に関する能力を示す。

1)IEEE802.11nサービスの可用性、
2)BA資源の可用性、およびBA合意の事前セットアップ
3)MPDU密度パラメータなどのA−MPDU集約パラメータのセットアップ、
4)PSMPサービスの可用性、
5)自動省電力送達(APSD)サービスおよびパラメータの可用性、
6)拡張範囲サービスの可用性、および
7)時空ブロックコーディング(STBC)ベースのMCSなどの一定のデータ転送速度(すなわち変調およびコーディング方式(MCS))の可用性
1.少なくとも1つの高スループット動作可能APおよび少なくとも1つの高スループット動作可能STAを含むワイヤレス通信システムにおける、現APからターゲットAPへの拡張BSS遷移のための方法。
Claims (4)
- アクセスポイント(AP)において使用する方法であって、
ステーション(STA)から、隣接レポート要求フレームを受信するステップと、
隣接レポートフレームを前記STAへ送信するステップと
を具え、前記隣接レポートフレームは、少なくとも1つの隣接アクセスポイント(AP)の高スループット(HT)能力を示す高スループット(HT)能力要素を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記隣接レポートフレーム内の前記高スループット(HT)能力要素は、少なくとも1つの隣接アクセスポイント(AP)の能力、機能、又はパラメータを含むことを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記高スループット(HT)能力要素が、複数のメディアアクセス制御(MAC)プロトコロルデータユニット(MPDU)の1つの物理サービスデータユニット(PSDU)への集約を可能にするフレーム集約フォーマット、又は、複数のメディアアクセス制御(MAC)サービスデータユニット(MSDU)の1つのMACプロトコロルデータ単位(MPDU)への集約を可能にするフレーム集約フォーマットを示すことを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記高スループット(HT)能力要素が、ブロック肯定応答機構、Nイミディエイトブロック肯定応答、ブロック肯定応答(BA)またはBA要求(BAR)に関する否定応答を含むN遅延BA、圧縮ビットマップブロック肯定応答、又は、複数のトラフィック識別子(TID)ブロック肯定応答を示すことを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
