Claims (5)

An apparatus main body comprising recording means for recording on a medium;
A scanner unit which is rotatably provided at the upper part of the apparatus main body and can be opened and closed by rotating;
An operation panel unit provided in the scanner unit and rotating together with the scanner unit,
The operation panel unit constitutes a front surface of the apparatus in a state where the scanner unit is closed, and a lower edge of the operation panel unit forms a discharge port for a medium to be recorded and discharged by the recording unit.
A recording apparatus. The recording apparatus according to claim 1, further comprising a discharge unit that is positioned on a front side of the apparatus with respect to the recording unit in the apparatus main body, and discharges the medium toward the front side of the apparatus.
