Description

The present invention relates to a connector for connecting cables.

Conventionally, in order to connect a plurality of electronic components, cables connected to the electronic components are connected. In order to connect the cables, a connector is attached to the tip of the cable, and the connectors are connected. Moreover, the following patent document 1 discloses a connector for completing electrical connection without performing cable wiring work. In the connector of Patent Document 1, the connector is fixed to the back surface of the electronic component. Connection between connectors and placement of electronic components can be performed simultaneously, eliminating wiring work.

However, when the position of the electronic component is shifted, stress is generated in the connector or the electronic component, leading to the destruction of the connector or the electronic component. It is necessary to strictly arrange electronic components, which makes installation work difficult. Further, when electronic components are arranged outdoors, even if the connector has a waterproof function, the waterproof function may be impaired due to the destruction of the connector.

The attachment member is provided on both sides of the convex portion, and is disposed on one side and the other side of the plate. The attachment members are arranged on both sides of the plate body, and a gap is formed between the plate body and the attachment member by the convex portion.

The terminal is a male terminal or a female terminal, and when the male terminal and the female terminal are connected, the other cylinder is inserted inside one cylinder. A packing for closing a gap between the one cylinder and the other cylinder was provided on the outer periphery of the other cylinder. A waterproof function is given to the male terminal and the female terminal by packing.

The female terminal includes a cylindrical metal having a cut in a length direction, and a spring disposed on an outer periphery of the cylindrical metal. The connector of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. The electronic component connected from the connector terminal via a cable is not particularly limited.

A connector 10a of the present invention shown in FIG. 1 includes a plate body 14 having an opening 12 formed therein, a cylinder body 16a passed through the opening section 12, a terminal 18a disposed inside the cylinder body 16a, and an inner side of the cylinder body 16a A fixing member 20 for fixing the terminal 18a, and attachment members 22a and 22b for attaching the cylindrical body 16a to the plate body 14.

An opening 12 that penetrates from one surface of the plate body 14 to the other surface is formed at a desired position of the plate body 14. The opening 12 is circular, and a recess 24 is formed in a part of the circular shape (FIG. 2). The recess 24 also penetrates from one surface of the plate body 14 to the other surface.

なお、図2のA−A線断面図が図1(a)になり、B−B線断面図が図1(b)になる。   The plate 14 may be a part of a terminal box or the like. The plate body 14 is made of an insulating material such as a resin, but may be a metal as long as the insulation with the terminal 18a can be secured. 2 is a cross-sectional view taken along the line AA in FIG. 2 and FIG. 1B is a cross-sectional view taken along the line BB.

Electronic components are attached to the plate body 14 directly or indirectly. The position of the electronic component is fixed by fixing the plate 14 to a structure such as a building or the ground. Further, the plate body 14 may be fixed by fixing the electronic component to the structure or the ground. Only the plate body 14 may be fixed to the structure or the ground without attaching electronic components to the plate body 14. In any embodiment, the position of the plate body 14 is fixed. In order to fix the plate body 14, a screw fastening hole may be provided in the plate body 14.

The cylindrical body 16a has a cylindrical shape and faces a direction perpendicular to the plane of the plate body 14 (FIGS. 1 and 3). As shown in FIG. 2, the convex part 26 is provided in the outer periphery of the cylinder 16a. A convex portion 26 is disposed in the concave portion 24. A gap 28a is provided between the inner wall forming the opening 12 and the outer periphery of the cylindrical body 16a. Further, a gap 28 b is provided between the inner wall that forms the concave portion 24 and the convex portion 26. The cylinder body 16a can move with respect to the plate body 14 by the gaps 28a and 28b.

The shape of the concave portion 24 and the convex portion 26 is not limited as long as a gap 28 b is formed between the inner wall forming the concave portion 24 and the convex portion 26. For example, quadrangular or hemispherical shapes

The positions of the convex portions 26 are arranged at unequal intervals in the circumferential direction of the cylindrical body 16a. Since the recesses 24 are provided in accordance with the positions of the projections 26, the positions of the recesses 24 are arranged at unequal intervals in the circumferential direction of the opening 12. Since the intervals between the convex portions 26 and the concave portions 24 are different, when the cylindrical body 16a is passed through the opening 12, the cylindrical body 16a can be directed in a desired direction. The direction of the cable to be described later can be determined.

The terminal 18a is disposed inside the cylindrical body 16a. The terminal 18a is disposed at the center of the cylindrical body 16a. One end 30a of the terminal 18a is connected to the other terminal, and a cable (not shown) is connected to the other end 30b. Use a cable with insulated conductor wire. In addition, the terminal 18a shown in FIG. 1 is a male terminal, and a male terminal may be shown with the code | symbol 18a by the following description.

A terminal 18a is fixed by a fixing member 20 inside the cylindrical body 16a. The fixing member 20 is configured to seal a part in the cylindrical body 16a. The cylindrical body 16a and the fixing member 20 are integrally formed of resin, and at that time, the terminal 18a is fixed inside the cylindrical body 16a.

A cutout 32 is provided in the cylindrical body 16a so that the cable passes through the cutout 32 (FIG. 4). Further, a notch 34 is provided at the other end 30b of the terminal 18a to facilitate the attachment of the cable. A cable is arranged in the notch 34 of the terminal 18a and soldered to make a conductor connection. The cutout 32 of the cylindrical body 16a and the cutout 34 of the terminal 18a are oriented in the same direction. The cylindrical body 16a is oriented in the desired direction by the concave portion 24 and the convex portion 26, and the cable is also oriented in the desired direction.

The cable is connected to other terminals and electronic components. The cable is not completely fixed with respect to the plate member 14, and the cable is also moved when the terminal 18a is moved. For example, a part of the cable is fixed to the plate body 14 at a position away from the terminal 18a. In the vicinity of the terminal 18a, the cable is not fixed and can move freely. The stress applied to the terminal 18a and the cable is reduced, and the cable is prevented from being detached from the terminal 18a.

The attachment members 22a and 22b are configured by a hook-like portion 22a and a nut 22b provided on the cylindrical body 16a. The hook-shaped portion 22 a is disposed at one end of the convex portion 26, and the nut 22 b is disposed at the other end of the convex portion 26. In order to attach the nut 22b, a thread is carved into the cylindrical body 16a. The hook-shaped portion 22a and the nut 22b have a shape that does not pass through the opening 12. The cylindrical member 16a is prevented from falling off from the opening 12 by the attachment members 22a and 22b. Although the shape of the bowl-shaped part 22a is a disk shape, if it does not pass the opening part 12, it will not be limited to a disk shape.

The hook-shaped portion 22 a is disposed on the one surface side of the plate body 14, and the nut 22 b is disposed on the other surface side of the plate body 14. As long as the attachment members 22a and 22b are disposed on both sides of the plate member 14, the positions of the hook-shaped portion 22a and the nut 22b may be opposite to those in FIG. After passing the cylindrical body 16 a through the opening 12, the nut 22 b is tightened to the other end of the convex portion 26, so that the cylindrical body 16 a is attached to the plate body 14.

A gap 36 is provided between the attachment members 22 a and 22 b and the plate body 14. In order to form the gap 36, the height t1 of the convex portion 26 is made larger than the thickness t2 of the plate body 14 (FIG. 5). The plate member 14 is not sandwiched and fixed by the flanges 22a and nuts 22b arranged at both ends of the convex portion 26. In FIG. 1, gravity acts downward, and a gap 36 is formed between the plate 14 and the nut 22b. By having the gap 36, the cylinder body 16 a can move relative to the plate body 14. If the cylinder 16a can move, the size of the gap 36 is not limited. The clearance may be such that the plate body 14 and the attachment members 22a and 22b slide relative to each other.

There are a plurality of convex portions 26 having the same height t1 at the same position in the length direction of the cylindrical body 16a. When the nut 22 b is tightened, the plane of the nut 22 b can be made parallel to the plate body 14. The nut 22b does not face obliquely with respect to the cylindrical body 16a, and the nut 22b does not push the plate body 14 toward the bowl-shaped portion 22a. Further, when the nut 22b is tightened, the convex portion 26 is caught by the concave portion 24, and the idling can be prevented. Unnecessary stress is not generated at the connection portion between the terminal 18a and the cable.

As described above, the cylindrical body 16a can be moved relative to the plate body 14 even if the plate body 14 is fixed, and the stress applied to the connector 10a can be reduced. The destruction of the connector 10a can be prevented. When the plate member 14 or the electronic component is fixed to the building or the ground, the fixing position may be slightly shifted, and the installation work is simplified.

Although the male terminal is shown as the terminal 18a in the first embodiment, the connector 10b of the female terminal 18b shown in FIG. 6 may be used. The connector 10b has a configuration in which the male terminal 18a of the connector 10a is changed to a female terminal 18b. In any of the terminals 18a and 18b, the destruction of the connectors 10a and 10b and the installation work are simplified.

The male terminal 18a in FIG. 1 and the female terminal 18b in FIG. 6 may be connected. Since the male terminal 18a and the female terminal 18b are connected, the size is set such that the other cylinder body 16b can be inserted into the one cylinder body 16a. In the present invention, the cylinder 16b of the female terminal 18b is inserted into the cylinder 16a of the male terminal 18a. In order to facilitate insertion, chamfers 38a and 38b are formed on the outer periphery of the end of the cylinder 16b of the female terminal 18b and the inner periphery of the end of the cylinder 16a of the male terminal 18a.

In order to waterproof, the packing 40 is disposed on the outer periphery of the cylindrical body 16b of the female terminal 18b. A gap between the cylinders 16 a and 16 b is sealed with the packing 40. A groove 42 is provided on the outer periphery of the cylindrical body 16 b so that the position of the packing 40 does not shift, and the packing 40 is disposed in the groove 42. The thickness of the packing 40 is made larger than the depth of the groove 42. The number of packings 40 is not limited to one and may be a plurality.

The female terminal 18b includes a cylindrical metal 44 and a spring 46 disposed on the outer periphery of the cylindrical metal 44 (FIGS. 6 and 7). The spring 46 is a C-ring spring. The cylindrical metal 44 has a cut 48 in the length direction. Therefore, the cylindrical metal 44 is divided in the circumferential direction. When the male terminal 18a is inserted into the female terminal 18b, the cylindrical metal 44 spreads out and is easy to insert. After the insertion, the spring 46 returns to the original shape, and the connection state can be kept good.

When the connector 10a and the connector 10b are connected, the plate body 14 is fixed to any of the connectors 10a and 10b, but the cylindrical bodies 16a and 16b and the terminals 18a and 18b can move. Even if the connectors 10a and 10b are connected together, the stress applied to the connectors 10a and 10b can be reduced, and the installation work is simplified. Waterproofing can also be performed by providing the packing 40 at the connecting portion between the cylinders 16a and 16b.

樹脂の一例として、ポリ塩化ビニル、熱可塑性樹脂の加硫物(たとえばSantoprene(登録商標)TPV(thermoplastic vulcanizate))、塩素化ポリエチレン、またはシリコーン系樹脂(たとえばシリコーン系のRTV(Room Temperature Vulcanizing)ゴム)などが挙げられる。 In the connectors 10a and 10b of the above-described embodiments, the terminals 18a and 18b and the connection portion of the cable may be resin-sealed. For example, a cap is attached to the opening y of the cylinders 16a and 16b, and the cylinders 16a and 16b are filled with resin. Examples of the resin include polyvinyl chloride, a vulcanized product of a thermoplastic resin (for example, Santoprene (registered trademark) TPV (thermoplastic vulcanizate)), a chlorinated polyethylene, or a silicone-based resin (for example, a silicone-based RTV (Room Temperature Vulcanizing) rubber) ) And the like. When the connectors 10a and 10b are used outdoors, not only a connection portion between the terminals 18a and 18b but also a connection portion between the terminals 18a and 18b and the cable is provided with a waterproof function. Even if rainwater falls on the outer periphery of the plate body 14 and the cylinders 16a and 16b, the rainwater does not reach the terminals 18a and 18b and the cable, and corrosion can be prevented. Further, it is possible to prevent the cable from being disconnected from the terminals 18a and 18b.

In addition to the convex portions 26 being arranged at unequal intervals in the circumferential direction of the cylinders 16a and 16b, the convex portions 26 may be arranged at equal intervals (FIG. 8). The concave portions 24 are also arranged at equal intervals according to the convex portions 26. In order to determine the directions of the cylinders 16a and 16b, the shapes and sizes of the convex portions 26 and the concave portions 24 are made different. The predetermined convex portion 26 enters the predetermined concave portion 24, and no other convex portion 26 can be inserted. The directionality of the cylinders 16a and 16b is determined, and incorrect insertion can be prevented.

The cylindrical body 14, the terminals 18a and 18b, and the attachment members 22a and 22b attached to one plate body 14 are not limited to one. A plurality of openings 12 are formed in one plate body 14, and cylinders 16 a and 16 b and the like are arranged in each opening 12. 9 and 10, the connector 10c is provided with one male terminal 18a and one female terminal 18b. If two connectors 10c having the same relative positional relationship between the terminals 18a and 18b are prepared, the connectors 10c can be connected to each other.

In the above embodiment, the terminals 18a and 18b are connected to each other, but the plate bodies 14 may also be connected to each other. The connectors 10d and 10e shown in FIG. 11 are provided with plate-like vertical portions 50a and 50b in the vicinity of the outer periphery of the plate body 14. When the terminals 18a and 18b are connected to each other, the other vertical portion 50b is arranged on the inner periphery of the one vertical portion 50a. A latch hole 52 is provided in one vertical portion 50a, and a claw 54 is provided in the other vertical portion 50b (FIG. 12). When the vertical portions 50a and 50b overlap each other, the claw 54 enters the retaining hole 52 so that the vertical portions 50a and 50b are not separated from each other.

The plate body 14 is rectangular, and the terminals 18a and 18b may be arranged at asymmetric positions instead of being arranged at the target positions with respect to the center line m. The connector 10f of FIG. 13 uses the vertical portion 50a as in the fifth embodiment. The same connector 10f cannot be connected simply by turning it over. When the connectors 10f face each other, only the connector 10f in which the male terminal 18a and the female terminal 18b face each other and the vertical portions 50a and 50b overlap is connected. The positions of the terminals 18a and 18b and the vertical portions 50a and 50b prevent erroneous connection of the connector 10f.

It is not limited to providing both the male terminal 18a and the female terminal 18b, and may be connectors 10g and 10h having only the male terminal 18a or only the female terminal 18b (FIG. 14). By aligning the positional relationship between the terminals 18a and 18b, both the connectors 10g and 10h can be connected.

When connecting the two connectors 10i, the claws 56a and 56b may be provided on one plate body 14, and the retaining holes 58a and 58b of the claws 56a and 56bb may be provided on the other plate body 14 (FIG. 15). The claws 56a and 56b are different in size, and the retaining holes 58a and 58b are also different in size. The large claw 56b does not enter the smaller retaining hole 58a. When connecting the connector 10i, there is no mistake in direction.

Further, the jig 60 may be used when the claws 56a and 56b are removed from the retaining holes 58a and 58b (FIG. 16). The two aligned claws 56a and 56b face inward, and the claws 56a and 56b warp away from each other by inserting the jig 60 between the claws 56a and 56b. The catches of the claws 56a and 56b are released, and the claws 56a and 56b can be pulled out from the retaining holes 58a and 58b.

In addition to the claws 56a and 56b facing each other, the claws 62 facing outward may be used like the connector 10j (FIGS. 17 and 18). The small claw 62a and the large claw 62b face each other. The latching hole 64 is integrally formed with a latching hole 64a for latching the small claw 62a and a latching hole 64b for latching the large claw 62b. The direction of the connector 10j is determined by the claws 62a and 62b having different sizes. When connecting the connector 10j, there is no mistake in the direction.

A jig 66 may be used to remove the claws 62a and 62b. The jig 66 warps the claws 62a and 62b so as to approach each other from the outside of the two claws 62a and 62b arranged. The catches of the claws 62a and 62b are released, and the claws 62a and 62b can be removed from the latch holes 64.

The claws 56a, 56b, 62a, 62b and the retaining holes 58a, 58b, 64a, 64b of FIGS. good.

The connectors 10c, 10d, 10e, 10f, 10g, 10h, 10i, and 10j shown in FIGS. 9 to 18 may be combined and connected in series. Since multiple types of connectors 10c, 10d, 10e, 10f, 10g, 10h, 10i, and 10j are used, erroneous connection can be prevented depending on the types and positions of the terminals 18a and 18b.

Further, for each of the terminals 18a, 18b of the connectors 10c, 10d, 10e, 10f, 10g, 10h, 10i, 10j of FIGS. 9 to 18, one terminal 18a, 18b of the connectors 10a, 10b of FIGS. You may connect. One connector 10c, 10d, 10e, 10f, 10g, 10h, 10i, 10j is branched to a plurality of connectors 10a, 10b.

In addition, the present invention can be carried out in a mode in which various improvements, modifications, and changes are added based on the knowledge of those skilled in the art without departing from the gist thereof.
