Description

The present invention relates to a surface light emitting device provided with a light guide plate, and particularly to a surface light emitting device in which a light guide plate is attached in a curved posture along a curved surface.

Conventionally, thin surface light-emitting devices have been used in the field of special lighting in the construction industry, illumination signs, and the like, and as this type of surface light-emitting device, one having a light guide plate is known.

In the surface light emitting device including the light guide plate, a light source such as an LED (Light-Emitting Diode) is provided on the side of the light guide plate, and the light emitted from the light source is reflected to the surface side by the reflector. After that, the light is diffused by an acrylic diffusion plate so that the surface light is uniformly emitted (for example, see Patent Document 1 or 2).

Japanese Patent No. 3500466

However, since the above-described conventional surface light emitting device has a light guide plate in a planar shape, it is generally attached to a flat portion. When attaching to a curved portion, heat treatment is performed on the light guide plate in advance. It is necessary to form it into a predetermined curved shape. For this reason, the production and installation work of the light guide plate is very time-consuming, and it is difficult to shorten the delivery time and the cost, and it is difficult to accurately mold the light guide plate into a predetermined curved shape. There was a problem that required.

The present invention has been made to solve the above-described problems, and provides a surface light emitting device in which a light guide plate can be easily attached to a curved surface, and the delivery time can be shortened and the cost can be reduced. It is for the purpose.

In order to achieve the above-described object, the present invention is a surface light emitting device in which a light guide plate is attached in a curved posture along a curved surface, and is formed in an elongated shape along both end surfaces of the light guide plate. A flange that abuts on both end faces to maintain the curved posture of the light guide plate, a light source provided on the outside of the flange, and provided between the light source and the flange corresponding to the light source. A lens that transmits light, and an opening is formed at a position corresponding to the lens of the flange to allow the light transmitted through the lens to pass to the light guide plate side. .

According to this feature, when the light guide plate is attached along the curved surface, using a tool such as a suction cup, the light guide plate is inserted between the flanges at both ends in a state where the light guide plate is slightly curved from the curved surface. By removing the tool from the light guide plate, both end faces of the light guide plate come into contact with the flanges at both ends, and the light guide plate can be easily attached in a predetermined curved posture. Therefore, it is not necessary to heat-treat the light guide plate in advance and form it into a predetermined curved shape as in the past, so the light guide plate production and mounting operations are greatly simplified, shortening delivery time and reducing costs. Can be achieved.

In the surface light emitting device according to the embodiment of the present invention, the opening is elongated along the longitudinal direction of the flange, and both end portions on the longitudinal direction side face the light guide plate side. It is preferable that it is formed so as to be gradually expanded.

According to this feature, the light emitted from the light source and transmitted through the lens is supplied to the light guide plate without being interfered with the flange, so that surface emission can be performed uniformly.

Further, in the surface light emitting device according to the embodiment of the present invention, the lens is formed so that the irradiation angle of the light from the light source is reduced to be equal to or less than the inclination angle of both end portions on the longitudinal direction side of the opening. Is preferred.

According to this feature, the light emitted from the light source and transmitted through the lens is supplied to the light guide plate more reliably without being interfered with the flange, so that surface emission can be performed more uniformly.

Further, in the surface light emitting device according to the embodiment of the present invention, a support member for supporting the back surface of the light guide plate is provided between the light guide plate and the curved surface to which the light guide plate is attached. A plurality of support members are provided at predetermined intervals so as to be parallel to each other, and the support member is initially set and attached so that a gap with respect to the back surface of the light guide plate increases as a distance from the flange increases. Is preferred.

According to this feature, even if the light guide plate expands due to heat generation and curves to the back side, the expansion of the light guide plate can be absorbed by the gap between the back surface of the light guide plate and the support member, and the light guide plate is damaged. Can be prevented.

Further, in the surface light emitting device according to the embodiment of the present invention, a plurality of the light guide plates are connected to each other, and a movement of the light guide plate to the surface side is restricted at a connection portion of the light guide plates. It is preferable that the pressing member is attached.

According to this feature, it is possible to prevent the light guide plate from moving to the surface side by the pressing member, so that there is no possibility of disturbing the actions of those who pass in front of the light guide plate.

According to the present invention, it is possible to easily attach the light guide plate to the curved surface, and it is possible to obtain various excellent effects such as shortening the delivery time and reducing the cost.

In addition, a member 18 for receiving the face plate 17 is interposed, and the space between the member 18 and the face plate 17 is sealed.

An outer peripheral frame 19 is disposed around the light guide plate 12 and the face plate 17, and the outer peripheral frame 19 is disposed on each of the horizontal frame 20 disposed on the upper and lower sides of the light guide plate 12 and on the left and right of the light guide plate 12. And a vertical frame 21 provided. The horizontal frame 20 and the vertical frame 21 are formed so as to cover the outer peripheral surface of the face plate 17, and the gap 22 between the horizontal frame 20 and the vertical frame 21 and the face plate 17 is sealed with a sponge rubber packing 23.

The upper and lower end portions of the light guide plate 12 are made of stainless steel and elongated plate-like flanges 24, and the upper and lower flanges 24 come into contact with the upper and lower end surfaces of the light guide plate 12 so that the light guide plate 12 has a curved posture. It is supposed to be retained.

Between the back side of the light guide plate 12 and the wall surface 11, a support member 25 made of horizontally long stainless steel for supporting the back surface of the light guide plate 12 is disposed. The support member 25 is made of horizontally long stainless steel and has a hat shape. It is formed to be bent so as to have a cross section, and is arranged between the upper and lower flanges 24 in five steps at predetermined intervals so as to be parallel to each other. The first-stage, third-stage, and fifth-stage support members 25 are fixed to the wall surface 11 through the convex portions 26 and are arranged so that the back surface of the light guide plate 12 can be supported by the flange portions 27. . In addition, the second and fourth stage support members 25 are fixed to the wall surface 11 through the flanges 27, and are arranged so that the back surface of the light guide plate 12 can be supported by the convex parts 26.

Each support member 25 is initially set and attached so that the gap 28 with respect to the back surface of the light guide plate 12 increases as the distance from the flange 24 increases. Specifically, the flange portion 27 of the first-stage support member 25 and the flange portion 27 of the fifth-stage support member 25 are in contact with the back surface of the light guide plate 12 (that is, the flange portion 27 and the back surface of the light guide plate 12 are There is no gap 28 between the flange portion 27 of the third-stage support member 25 and the back surface of the light guide plate 12. It is attached so that it may become larger than the clearance gap 28 between the convex part 26 of the supporting member 25, and the back surface of the light-guide plate 12. FIG.

Each support member 25 in the second to fourth stages has a pressing member 29 attached to a connecting portion of the light guide plate 12 in a state where a gap 28 with respect to the back surface of the light guide plate 12 can be held. The movement of 12 to the surface side is regulated. The pressing member 29 includes a flat plate 30 that is in contact with both surfaces of adjacent light guide plates 12 and screws 31 that pass through the flat plate 30 and the light guide plate 12 and are fastened to the support member 25. In the case of the presser member 29 attached to the second and fourth stage support members 25, the screw 31 is fastened to the convex part 26, and in the case of the presser member 29 attached to the third stage support member 25, Screws 31 are fastened.

The LED module 13 is a module in which a power source 32, six LEDs 33 serving as light sources to which power is supplied from the power source 32, and six lenses 34 provided corresponding to each LED 33 are modularized. It has a horizontally long, substantially rectangular parallelepiped shape.

The LED module 13 is mounted such that the LED 33 is disposed outside the flange 24 and the lens 34 is disposed between the LED 33 and the flange 24, and an opening 35 is formed at a position corresponding to the lens 34 of the flange 24. Has been. The opening 35 is formed to be elongated along the longitudinal direction of the flange 24, and is inclined so that both end portions 36 on the longitudinal direction side gradually expand toward the light guide plate 12 side.

The lens 34 of the LED module 13 is formed so as to restrict the irradiation angle of light from the LED 33 to be equal to or less than the inclination angle of both end portions 36 on the longitudinal direction side of the opening 35, for example, on the longitudinal side of the opening 35. When the inclination angle of both ends 36 is 45 °, the light emitted from the LED 33 at an irradiation angle of 120 ° is narrowed down to light having an irradiation angle of 24 °.

A storage portion 37 for the LED module 13 is formed above and below the light guide plate 12, and the storage portion 37 is covered with a stainless steel cover 38. The cover 38 can be opened and closed by rotating about a hinge 39 attached to the back side, and the cover 38 can be kept closed by a fastener 40 attached to the horizontal frame 20. . A rubber packing cover 41 is interposed between the cover 38 and the storage portion 37 so that the closed state of the cover 38 can be kept airtight. Further, a presser fitting 42 and a cable support fitting 43 are attached to the inner surface of the cover 38, and the presser fitting 42 is provided so as to press the outer surface of the LED module 13 when the cover 38 is closed.

In the surface light emitting device 10 having such a configuration, the light emitted from the LED 33 is narrowed to a predetermined irradiation angle by the lens 34, and after passing through the opening 35, is uniformly dispersed and reflected by the reflecting plate 14. The light is uniformly diffused by the diffusion plate 15 and radiated to the outside. Even if the light guide plate 12 expands due to the heat generated during this time and is further curved toward the back side, the gap 28 between the back side of the light guide plate 12 and each support member 25 is initially increased from the upper and lower ends toward the center. Since it is set, the expansion of the light guide plate 12 can be absorbed by the gap 28, and the light guide plate 12 can be prevented from being damaged.

In addition, since the pressing member 29 is attached to the connecting portion of the light guide plate 12 and the light guide plate 12 can be prevented from moving to the surface side, the light guide plate 12 passes in front of the light guide plate 12 according to the instruction of the evacuation guide light. There is no risk of disturbing the evacuation behavior of those who do it.

As described above, according to the surface light emitting device 10 according to the embodiment of the present invention, when the light guide plate 12 is attached along the curved wall surface 11, the light guide plate 12 is moved from the wall surface 11 using a tool such as a suction cup. After being inserted between the upper and lower flanges 24 in a slightly curved state, the tool is removed from the light guide plate 12 so that both end faces of the light guide plate 12 abut against the upper and lower flanges 24 and the light guide plate 12 is bent to a predetermined curve. Can be easily installed in a posture. Therefore, since it is not necessary to heat-treat the light guide plate 12 in advance and form it into a predetermined curved shape as in the prior art, the production and installation of the light guide plate are greatly simplified, shortening delivery time and cost. Reduction can be achieved.

Further, when the LED 33 is replaced or the power source 32 is inspected, it can be easily performed by removing the fastener 40 and opening the cover 38, so that the maintenance work can be simplified.

In the above description of the embodiment, the case where the surface light emitting device according to the present invention is attached as an evacuation guide light to the curved wall surface 11 inside the tunnel of the highway has been described.
