前記スライドパッドを保持させた前記ホルダを前記前側規制部が取り外された状態の前記外側ブーム材の前端側からその外側ブーム材の下部の内面と前記内側ブーム材の下部の外面との間のスペースに挿入してそのホルダの後端部を前記後側規制部に当接させるとともにそのホルダの前記後端被挟持部を前記後端浮上阻止部と前記外側ブーム材の下部の内面との間の前記隙間に挿入する挿入工程と、
前記挿入工程の後、前記前側規制部が前記ホルダの前端部に前記外側ブーム材の前端側から当接するように当該前側規制部を前記外側ブーム材の前端部に取り付ける前側規制部取付工程とを備えた、スライド支持装置の設置方法。
