Description

The present invention relates to a paper feed guide body mounted on a printing apparatus that performs desired printing on a printing paper.

A small-sized printing apparatus that performs desired printing on a printing paper is known (for example, see Patent Document 1). In this printing apparatus, when printing paper is introduced from an inlet provided in the upper part of a rectangular parallelepiped housing, the introduced printing paper is transported by the platen roller, and the printed printing paper is transferred to the printing paper. On the other hand, a printing means (thermal line head) performs desired printing. The printed paper after printing is discharged from a discharge port provided on the front side surface of the housing.

In the above-described prior art, an operator has to insert a printing paper into the upper inlet at the time of printing. When a paper feed guide for enabling easy loading is provided, if the paper feed guide is fixedly provided in the printing apparatus, the overall structure is increased in size. Therefore, it is convenient to prepare a paper feed guide that can be attached to and detached from the printing apparatus separately from the printing apparatus, and that an operator attaches to the printing apparatus as necessary.

At this time, since the printing apparatus is often carried by an operator to various places and used, it is desirable that the paper feed guide has a relatively large rigidity and stably holds the printing apparatus. Therefore, for example, it is conceivable that the structure of the paper feed guide is configured to completely cover the casing of the rectangular parallelepiped printing apparatus. However, in such a structure, the printing target is smoothly introduced from the inlet provided in the upper part of the casing as described above, or the printing is completed after the printing is finished from the outlet provided in the front of the casing. Smooth discharge of paper may be hindered.

An object of the present invention is to provide a paper feed guide body that can hold a printing apparatus stably with a strong structure while ensuring smooth introduction of printing paper and smooth discharge of printing paper after printing is completed. There is.

In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides a substantially rectangular parallelepiped casing that can be arranged with the longitudinal direction as the left-right direction and the short direction as the up-down direction and the front-rear direction; An inlet that opens in the left-right direction and introduces the printing paper into the housing; a roller that conveys the printing paper introduced from the introduction opening; and a sheet that is conveyed by the roller A print head for performing desired printing; opening on the front side surface of the substantially rectangular parallelepiped casing along the left-right direction, and printing paper printed by the print head to the outside of the casing A paper feed guide body that is attachable to a printing apparatus having a discharge outlet, and that holds the left and right ends of the substantially rectangular parallelepiped casing from above when mounted.・ Right holding part A paper guide portion that is provided in connection with the left and right holding portions and guides the left and right ends of the received printing paper to the introduction port while guiding the left and right ends of the received paper, and a left and right direction behind the paper guide portion. A rear connecting portion that extends and connects the left and right holding portions; a front opening that is positioned between the left and right holding portions and exposes the discharge port when mounted; and the front opening A front connecting portion that extends in the left-right direction below and connects the left and right holding portions, and is provided so as to protrude rearward from the front connecting portion at the time of mounting, and has the substantially rectangular parallelepiped shape. And a lower holding portion that is in contact with the lower surface of the housing so as to cover from below.

The paper feed guide body of the present invention is provided by being attached to a printing apparatus having a substantially rectangular parallelepiped housing. At the time of mounting on the printing apparatus, the left and right holding portions hold the left and right ends of the substantially rectangular parallelepiped casing so as to cover from above. At this time, a paper guide portion is provided in connection with the left and right holding portions, and this paper guide portion guides the received printing paper to the inlet of the printing apparatus. The paper to be printed input from the inlet to the inside of the casing of the printing apparatus is transported by a roller and is printed by the thermal line head, and then discharged from the outlet to the outside of the casing. At this time, a front opening is provided between the left and right holding portions of the paper feed guide body of the present invention, and the discharge port is exposed by the front opening. As a result, smooth discharge of the printing paper after printing that appears from the discharge port to the outside of the housing as described above is ensured.

In the paper feed guide body of the present invention, the rear sides of the left and right holding portions are connected to each other by a rear connecting portion, and the lower sides of the front opening portions of the left and right holding portions are connected to each other by a front connecting portion. Therefore, relatively large rigidity is ensured as a whole. The substantially rectangular parallelepiped housing of the printing apparatus is covered at the upper and front ends of the left and right ends by the left and right holding portions connected as described above, and the front side portion of the lower surface is covered by the lower holding portion. As a result of the covering, the left and right holding portions, the rear connecting portion, the front connecting portion, and the lower holding portion as a whole are stably held so as to be held from the left, right, up, down, and front and rear.

As described above, the paper feed guide body of the present invention is different from the structure that completely covers the casing of the printing device having a substantially rectangular parallelepiped shape, and smoothly introduces the printing paper into the printing device and prints after the printing is finished. The printing apparatus can be stably held by a strong structure having relatively large rigidity while ensuring smooth discharge of the paper.

According to the present invention, it is possible to stably hold the printing apparatus with a strong structure while ensuring smooth introduction of the printing paper and smooth discharge of the printing paper after printing is completed.

Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.

<Overview of overall printer configuration>
The overall configuration of the printer 1 to which the paper feed guide body of the present embodiment is mounted will be described with reference to FIGS. 1, 2, and 3. In the following, the lower left direction in FIG. 1 is defined as the front, the upper right direction is the rear, the upper left direction is the left side, the lower right direction is the right direction, the upper direction is the upper direction, and the lower direction is the lower direction. The direction will be described.

The printer 1 prints print data received from an external device such as a PC terminal or a mobile phone via a wired communication (or wireless communication) on the printing paper S. The printer 1 can be driven by using a rechargeable battery 10 (see FIG. 2) as a power source, and can be carried and used by an operator in various places.

The printer 1 is configured by assembling, for example, a housing 100 (housing) made of a resin material and constituting the outer shell of the apparatus, and a chassis assembly 50 (see FIG. 3).

The housing 100 includes a top cover 101, an under cover 102, and a cover member 103 that can be opened and closed on the front side of the top surface of the top cover 101 (so as to cover a discharge port 107 described later). The housing 100 as a whole has a substantially rectangular parallelepiped shape in which the left-right direction is a longitudinal direction and the up-down direction and the front-rear direction are short directions. As a result, as shown in FIG. 3, areas exposed to the upper part of the top cover 101 and the cover member 103 (hereinafter, simply referred to as “upper area”) 101 </ b> A and 103 </ b> A of the casing 100 according to each claim. Configure the top surface. In addition, regions exposed to the front of each of the under cover 102, the top cover 101, and the cover member 103 (hereinafter simply referred to as “front regions”) 102A, 101B, and 103B are formed on the front side surface of the housing 100. It is composed. In addition, an inclined surface portion 108 is provided between the upper region 103A and the front region 103B, which is located on the upper front side of the cover member 103, in a manner in which the boundary between the upper region 103A and the front region 103B is chamfered. It has been.

Further, a battery storage chamber 105 for storing the substantially rod-shaped rechargeable battery 10 is provided on the rear side of the housing 100 (see FIG. 2). A battery chamber cover 170 is detachably provided in the battery storage chamber 105 (see also FIG. 6C described later). In a state where the battery chamber cover 170 is removed, the battery storage chamber 105 opens in the rear portion of the housing 100.

The chassis assembly 50 includes a main chassis member 150 that is provided on the inner surface of the under cover 102 and constitutes a bottom portion of the chassis assembly 50, and a pair of erected from both longitudinal ends of the main chassis member 150. Side chassis members 130L and 130R are provided.

<Internal housing structure>
The structure inside the housing 100 will be described with reference to FIGS. The side chassis members 130 </ b> L and 130 </ b> R support the platen roller 111 rotatably with respect to the housing 100 by inserting the shaft members 111 a at both ends in the left-right direction of the platen roller 111 into the shaft hole 131. At this time, the shaft member 113 is provided so as to protrude in the longitudinal direction from both end portions in the longitudinal direction at the rear side end portion of the heat radiating plate 114 provided with the thermal line head 112 (printing head). The side chassis members 130L and 130R also support the shaft member 113 so as to be rotatable. As a result, the thermal line head 112 is supported so as to be rotatable with respect to the side chassis members 130L and 130R via the shaft member 113 of the heat radiating plate 114, and left and right so as to face the platen roller 111 in the vertical direction. Arranged along the direction.

The left side chassis member 130L includes a drive motor 11 that drives the platen roller 111, and a gear mechanism 132 that includes a plurality of gears that transmits the driving force of the drive motor 11 to the shaft member 111a of the platen roller 111. And are provided. The platen roller 111 is rotationally driven by the driving force and conveys the printing paper S (see FIG. 6 described later).

A beam member 140 is bridged and fixed on the upper portions of the side chassis members 130L and 130R. A guide member 120 (see also FIG. 1) is fixed to the beam member. As shown in FIG. 4, the guide member 120 is located on the rear end portion of the upper region of the cover member 103 and is to be printed S inserted through an insertion port 104 (introduction port) opened along the left-right direction (described later). 6 is also guided to the pressure contact portion P between the platen roller 111 and the thermal line head 112. That is, the transport path of the printing paper S passes from the insertion port 104 (see also FIG. 1) through the inclined surface 122 of the guide member 120 and the pressure contact portion P between the platen roller 111 and the thermal line head 112. , A route to the discharge port 107 (see also FIG. 1). The thermal line head 112 performs desired printing on the printing paper S conveyed by the platen roller 111. The discharge port 107 discharges the printing paper S on which desired printing has been performed by the thermal line head 112 as described above to the outside of the housing 100. The discharge port 107 is formed between the front region 103B of the cover member 103 and the front region 102A of the under cover 102 so as to open along the left-right direction.

A power key 30 and a feed key 40 are arranged adjacent to each other at the left end of the upper area 101A of the top cover 101. The power key 30 and the feed key 40 constitute the operation keys described in the claims. When the feed key 40 is pressed down, the drive motor 11 is driven to rotate the platen roller 111, and feed processing for conveying the printing paper S by a predetermined amount is performed. This feed processing is performed, for example, when paper is fed to start printing from a midway position in the conveyance direction of the printing paper S or when the printing paper S whose conveyance direction length is longer than a predetermined length is used. This is performed when paper is discharged after printing is completed.

Further, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 3 (see also FIGS. 5D and 6C described later), for example, a PC terminal or a mobile phone is provided on one side surface of the front region 101B of the top cover 101, for example. Further, an upper opening 207 on the upper side and a front opening 204 on the front side are connected in a generally L-shaped manner between the rear connection portion 203 and the front connection portion 205. That is, the upper opening 207 is continuous to the upper rear side of the front opening 204, and both the upper opening 207 and the front opening 204 are located between the left and right holding portions 201a and 201b. Then, a paper feed guide body 200 is mounted on the printer 1, and a paper guide unit! As shown in FIGS. 6 (a) and 6 (c). In the open state, the insertion port 104 of the printer 1 is exposed at the upper opening 207, and the discharge port 107 of the printer 1 is exposed at the front opening 204. At this time, even when the printer 1 is mounted, the upper opening 207 can open and close the cover member 103 that can be opened and closed on the upper front side of the housing 100 of the printer 1.

<Lower holding part>
As shown in FIGS. 5C, 5D, and 5C, the lower holding portion 206 has a tapered shape in which the thickness dimension in the vertical direction decreases toward the rear side. When the printer 1 is installed with the paper feed guide body 200 attached, the thick lower holding portion 206 is in contact with the installation surface at the front end side (rubber feet at the front end of the housing 100 of the printer 1). 60A and 60A do not touch the installation surface). At this time, on the rear end side of the printer 1, the rubber feet 60 </ b> B and 60 </ b> B at the rear end of the housing 100 are in contact with the installation surface.

<Pressing operation part>
Further, as shown in FIG. 8, FIG. 7A, FIG. 7B, etc., the left holding portion 201a includes the above-mentioned upper portion of the housing 100 when the paper feed guide body 200 is attached to the printer 1. A pair of pressing operation portions 209a and 209b are provided above the power key 30 and the feed key 40, respectively. The pressing operation portions 209a and 209b are formed by a substantially U-shaped long cut from the side surface to the upper surface of the left holding portion 201a, and the power key 30 and the feed key are provided below the substantially U-shaped cutting tip side. A key 40 is arranged. As a result, the pressing operation portions 209a and 209b can be elastically deformed downward than the surrounding portions by pressing, and the operator can operate the pressing operation portion 209a while the paper feed guide body 200 is still attached to the printer 1. , 209b, the power key 30 and the feed key 40 can be pressed. When the power key 30 and the feed key 40 are provided on the right end side of the upper part of the housing 100, the pair of pressing operation parts 209a and 209b are also provided on the right holding part 201b correspondingly. Further, when the power key 30 and the feed key 40 are arranged separately at the left and right ends, the pair of pressing operation portions 209a and 209b are also divided into the left holding portion 201a and the right holding portion 201b correspondingly. Provided.

<Notch>
Further, as shown in FIGS. 7A and 7B, FIG. 5D, FIG. 5E, etc., the right holding portion 201b has a substantially L side to side from the rear opening 208 side. A notch 201c cut out in a letter shape is formed. As a result, the pair of front and rear USB interfaces 70 and 80 formed on one side surface of the front region 101B of the top cover 101 are exposed by the notch 201c.

<Paper guide section>
The paper guide unit 202 is in an open state in which the upper opening 207 is opened (see FIGS. 6A, 6C, and 7A) and in a closed state in which the upper opening 207 is closed (see FIG. b), and the left and right holding portions 201a and 201b are rotatably supported so as to open and close with respect to (see FIG. 7B and the like). That is, an upright plate-like bearing portion 305 is formed at the left and right opposing edges of the upper opening 207 located on the rear connecting portion 203 side. The shaft portion 304 that protrudes outward from each other is supported on the bearing portion 305 on the left and right edges of the one end side of the paper guide portion 202, so that the paper guide portion 202 is placed between the open state and the closed state. Rotate.

In addition, on the inner surface of the paper guide portion 202 (the surface that faces obliquely upward when the upper opening 207 is opened), a horizontal slide groove 303 formed as a pair of left and right sides, along the slide groove 303. A pair of left and right width adjusting sliders 302L and 302R that can slide in conjunction with each other are provided. On the outer end sides of these width adjustment sliders 302L and 302R, left and right claw portions 300L and 300R for holding both left and right ends of the printing paper S are provided. That is, the left and right claw portions 300L and 300R protrude inward in the left-right direction above the left and right ends of the introduced printing paper S, and the printing paper S is placed below the protruding shape. A space for insertion is formed.

Further, as shown in FIG. 9, FIG. 6 (a), FIG. 7 (a), and the like, outward L-shaped hook portions 301 are formed on both ends of the inner surface of the paper guide portion 202 on the open front end side. Yes. In a state where the paper guide portion 202 is closed and the upper opening portion 207 is closed, the hook portion 301 is suspended from the inner edge portion of the upper opening portion 207 and can be temporarily locked. When the paper guide unit 202 is opened, by forcibly pulling up the open front end side, the left and right hook portions 301 are bent inward from each other so that the latch is released, and the paper guide unit 202 is moved to the open position. It is rotated.

<Operational effects of this embodiment>
In the present embodiment configured as described above, the paper feed guide body 200 is attached to the substantially rectangular parallelepiped housing 100 of the printer 1. At the time of mounting, the left and right holding portions 201a and 201b hold the left and right end portions of the substantially rectangular parallelepiped housing 100 so as to cover from above. At this time, a sheet guide unit 202 provided connected to the left and right holding units 201 a and 201 b guides the received printing sheet S to the insertion port 104 of the printer 1. The sheet S to be printed that has been inserted into the housing 100 of the printer 1 from the insertion port 104 is transported by the platen roller 111 and is subjected to desired printing by the thermal line head 112, and is then discharged out of the housing 100 from the discharge port 107. The At this time, since the discharge port 107 is exposed by the front opening 204 provided between the left and right holding portions 201a and 201b of the paper feed guide body 200, the discharge port 107 is exposed to the outside of the housing 100 as described above. Thus, smooth discharge of the printed paper S after printing appears.

On the other hand, in the paper feed guide body 200 of the present embodiment, the rear sides of the left and right holding portions 201a and 201b are connected to each other by a rear connecting portion 203, and the front opening 204 of the left and right holding portions 201a and 201b is connected. The lower sides are connected to each other by the front connecting portion 205. Thereby, relatively large rigidity is ensured for the entire paper feed guide body 200. In the substantially rectangular parallelepiped housing 100 of the printer 1, the upper and front portions of the left and right end portions are covered by the left and right holding portions 201a and 201b connected as described above, and the front side portion of the lower surface is the lower side. Covered by the holding unit 206. As a result, as a whole, the printer 1 is stably held by the left and right holding units 201a and 201b, the rear connecting unit 203, the front connecting unit 205, and the lower holding unit 206 so as to be held from the left, right, up, down, and front and rear. The

As described above, the paper feed guide body 200 of the present embodiment is different from the structure that completely covers the housing 100 of the substantially rectangular parallelepiped printer 1, and after the smooth introduction of the printing paper S to the printer 1 and the end of printing. The printer 1 can be stably held by a strong structure having relatively large rigidity while ensuring smooth discharge of the printing paper S.

In this embodiment, in particular, the paper guide unit 202 is supported by the left and right holding units 201a and 201b so as to be opened and closed. Thus, after the paper feed guide body 200 is mounted on the printer 1, the paper guide portion 202 is opened to open the front opening portion 204 and the upper opening portion 207 greatly (see FIG. 6A), and the discharge port The smooth discharge of the printed printing paper S from 107 can be ensured. Further, even when a paper jam of the printing paper S occurs for some reason during printing in the open state, the cover member 103 can be easily opened using the upper opening 207. Etc. can be reliably eliminated.

In the present embodiment, in particular, a rear opening 208 is provided on the rear side of the paper feed guide body 200. Accordingly, the battery can be replaced from the rear of the battery storage chamber 105 through the rear opening 208 with the paper feed guide body 200 mounted. Further, since the rear side is exposed, when the operator grips the entire printer 1 with the paper feed guide body 200 attached by hand, the operator does not grip only the paper feed guide body 200, but always The housing 100 of the printer 1 exposed from the rear opening 208 is also gripped. As a result, it is possible to reliably prevent the printer 1 from being accidentally dropped due to the housing 100 being detached from the paper feed guide body 200, which may occur when the operator grips only the paper feed guide body 200.

In the present embodiment, in particular, the lower holding portion 206 has the aforementioned tapered shape. Accordingly, when the printer 1 is installed with the paper feed guide body 200 mounted, the thick lower holding portion 206 comes into contact with the installation surface on the front end side and the housing 100 of the printer 1 on the rear end side. The provided rubber feet 60B, 60B are in contact with the installation surface. As a result, the entire printer 1 equipped with the paper feed guide body 200 can be set to be slightly inclined from the front end side to the rear end side, thereby improving the stability during installation and preventing the occurrence of slipping. Can do.

In the present embodiment, in particular, the paper feed guide body 200 includes a pair of pressing operation portions 209 a and 209 b that can press the power key 30 and the feed key 40. Accordingly, it is possible to ensure good operability of the power key 30 and the feed key 40 while preventing the rigidity of the paper feed guide body 200 from being lowered as in the case where an opening is provided above the power key 30 and the feed key 40. Can do.

In the present embodiment, the paper guide unit 202 includes the left and right claw portions 300 in particular. Thus, even when the size of the paper guide unit 202 in the transport direction of the printing paper S is relatively short, the printing paper S is reliably prevented from being bent at the time of introduction to the insertion port 104, and excellent straight travel is achieved. Transportability can be ensured.

In the above description, the case where the paper feed guide body 200 is mounted on the substantially rectangular parallelepiped housing 100 from the front side has been described as an example, but the present invention is not limited thereto. That is, if the sheet feeding guide body is configured to include the left and right holding portions 201a and 201b, the sheet guide portion 202, the rear connecting portion 203, the front opening portion 204, the front connecting portion 205, and the lower holding portion 206, the housing You may make it mount with respect to 100 from appropriate directions other than the front side which can be mounted | worn, such as a back side, a side, or an upper side. In this case, the same effect as described above can be obtained.

In addition to those already described above, the methods according to the above-described embodiments and modifications may be used in appropriate combination.

In addition, although not illustrated one by one, the present invention is implemented with various modifications within a range not departing from the gist thereof.
