Description

The present invention relates to a rainwater storage tank.

Conventionally, a rainwater storage tank is provided with an L-shaped faucet as a water intake protruding in the horizontal direction at the lower part of the front surface thereof (see, for example, Patent Document 1). In the rainwater storage tank having such a configuration, since the user directly supplies water to a container such as a watering can or a bucket from a faucet provided in front of the rainwater storage tank, it is necessary to secure a space in which the container can be disposed below the faucet. For this reason, the rainwater storage tank had to be installed on a stable base. However, when the rainwater storage tank is installed on the pedestal, it is necessary to fix the rainwater storage tank to the pedestal in order to prevent the rainwater storage tank from shifting or dropping off due to vibration, wind and rain, and the like.

On the other hand, it is known to provide cylindrical leg portions made of resin on both the left and right sides of the lower part of the tank body (see, for example, Patent Document 2). In such a rainwater storage tank, a container arrangement space for directly supplying water to a container such as a watering can or a bucket is secured by the legs of the lower part of the tank body, so that a pedestal is not required for installation of the rainwater storage tank. In addition, since the leg portion is directly connected and fixed to the lower portion of the tank body, there is no fear that the tank body is displaced from the leg portion or falls off. By the way, in such a rainwater storage tank, since the load from a tank main body is always applied to a leg part, the leg part needs the intensity | strength which can endure this. The legs of Patent Document 2 are formed by blower molding, and are easy to manufacture and can reduce manufacturing costs, but the side walls are thin and the strength is not sufficient. For this reason, the leg part of patent document 2 is raising the intensity | strength of a leg part by inserting a metal reinforcement board inside and reinforcing the side wall of a leg part with a metal reinforcement board. However, the use of such a metal reinforcing plate is not only expensive in terms of manufacturing costs such as material costs, parts management costs, and increased mounting steps on the legs, but also because the rainwater storage tank is installed outdoors. Since the reinforcing plate is corroded and the strength of the leg portion is reduced, there is a problem that the tank body cannot be stably supported.

FIG. 7 is a view for explaining a connection structure between the tank body and the lid. FIG. 8 is a rear view showing the installation state of the rainwater storage tank of FIG. 1.

The rainwater storage tank 1 includes a tank main body 2 that stores rainwater from the eaves 64, a lid 50 that covers the upper portion of the tank main body 2, and a gantry 20 that supports the tank main body 2.

The tank body 2 is a resin-made bottomed cylindrical body having an elliptical shape in a cross-sectional view, and a concave surface 3 having a semicircular shape in a cross-sectional view is formed in the lower part of the front surface 2a. An L-shaped faucet 5 serving as a water intake 4 is provided on the upper side of the concave surface 3 so as to protrude in the horizontal direction so as not to protrude forward from the elliptical front surface 2a. The faucet 5 is provided with a lever 6 that is pivotable in a horizontal plane at the top, and rainwater stored in the rainwater storage tank 1 is discharged from the discharge port 7 at the lower end of the faucet 5 by rotating the lever 6. Or the discharge of rainwater is stopped.

A rainwater introduction port 8 is provided on the right side as viewed from the rear side, and an overflow drainage port 9 is provided on the left side at the upper rear surface of the tank body 2. The rainwater introduction port 8 communicates with the rainwater inflow system of the house through a pipe such as a hose 10 and the like, and rainwater flows into the tank body 2 from the rainwater inflow system of the house. The overflow drain port 9 is connected to the rainwater drainage system of the house through a pipe such as a hose 11 or the like. Rainwater is drained from the overflow drain 9 into the rainwater drainage system. The rainwater inflow system and the rainwater drainage system of the house are constituted by a fence 64.

As for the bottom part 12 of the tank main body 2, the outer peripheral part 13 inclines in circular arc shape, the inner side part is the plane part 14, and has a flat surface. Further, a cylindrical screw portion 15 having a male screw formed on the outer peripheral surface is provided on the bottom portion 12 of the tank body 2 so as to protrude downward at the center in the left-right direction and the center in the front-rear direction. . The threaded portion 15 is formed integrally with the bottom portion 12 of the tank body 2 and is used for connection to and fixing to the gantry 20. The threaded portion 15 communicates with the inside of the tank body 2, and rainwater stored in the tank body 2 can be drained from the lower end of the threaded portion 15, and also functions as the drain portion 70.

On the left and right sides of the threaded portion 15, the bottom portion 12 of the tank body 2 is integrally formed with a truncated cone-shaped convex portion 17 whose diameter is reduced downward from the bottom portion 12 of the tank body 2. The lower surface 18 of the convex portion 17 has a circular opening inside and is formed in a ring shape. Further, the convex portion 17 communicates with the inside of the tank body 2. Further, the lower surface 18 of the convex portion 17 is provided with a screw portion 16 having a male screw formed on the outer peripheral surface thereof and continuously protruding downward from the inner periphery of the opening. The lower surface of the threaded portion 16 is closed so that rainwater stored in the tank body 2 does not escape from the lower end of the threaded portion 16.

The gantry 20 is made of resin, and a container such as a watering can or a bucket is disposed below the faucet 5 provided on the concave surface 3 of the tank body 2 so that water can be directly supplied from the faucet 5 to the container. Installed at the bottom of the tank body 2.

A flat tank main body receiving portion 21 that supports the tank main body 2 is formed on the upper portion of the gantry 20, and a side wall 22 hangs in a substantially vertical direction on the periphery thereof.

The outer shape of the tank body receiving portion 21 is the same or substantially the same shape as the outer shape of the bottom portion 12 of the tank body 2, and the front side portion is inward so as to correspond to the concave surface 3 below the front surface 2 a of the tank body 2. It is formed in a concave shape, and the portion excluding the front side portion has an elliptical shape. The tank body receiving portion 21 is formed integrally with the side wall 22 of the gantry 20. An inner portion of the tank body receiving portion 21 is formed with a flat portion 23 and has a flat surface. A peripheral portion 24 rises while curving toward the outer side and is continuous with the side wall 22 of the gantry 20. The peripheral portion 24 is formed so as to be in surface contact with the outer peripheral portion 13 of the tank body 2 bottom portion 12.

Since the outer shape of the tank body receiving portion 21 is the same as or substantially the same as that of the bottom portion 12 of the tank body 2, the entire tank body 2 bottom portion 12 is supported by the tank body receiving portion 21 of the gantry 20. When the tank main body 2 is installed on the gantry 20, the flat surface portion 23 of the tank main body receiving portion 21 comes into surface contact with the flat surface portion 14 of the bottom portion 12 of the tank main body 2 and the peripheral portion 24 is the outer peripheral portion of the bottom portion 12 of the tank main body 2. The tank body 2 is supported in surface contact with the tank 13.

The side wall 22 of the gantry 20 is formed so that the outer peripheral surface 42 is on the same plane or substantially the same plane as the outer peripheral surface 19 of the tank main body 2 when the tank main body 2 is supported by the gantry 20. For this reason, the rainwater storage tank 1 installed outdoors is excellent in design and can be harmonized with the building, such as a clean appearance that is easy-to-appear with the building.

A hole 25 is formed in the tank body receiving portion 21 at a location corresponding to the screw portion 15 of the bottom portion 12 of the tank body 2. The inner diameter of the hole portion 25 is slightly larger than the outer diameter of the screw portion 15 so that the screw portion 15 can be inserted. In addition, a concave portion 27 that bulges downward is formed at a location corresponding to the convex portion 17 of the bottom portion 12 of the tank body 2. The concave portion 27 corresponds to the outer shape of the convex portion 17 of the bottom portion 12 of the tank main body 2, has a truncated cone shape whose diameter is reduced downward, and the tank main body 2 is installed on the mount 20. Sometimes in surface contact and engage. A hole portion 26 is formed inside the lower surface 28 of the concave portion 27, and the inner diameter of the hole portion 26 is larger than the outer diameter of the screw portion 16 so that the continuous thread portion 16 can be inserted into the lower surface 18 of the convex portion 17. It is slightly larger.

In addition, a concave groove 29 is formed in the tank body receiving portion 21. The concave groove 29 is formed to bulge below the tank body receiving portion 21 and extends from the periphery of the central hole portion 25 and the concave portions 27 on both the left and right sides or the vicinity thereof to the peripheral portion 24 in a direction perpendicular to the circumferential direction. ing. By providing such a concave groove 29, the strength of the flat surface portion 23 of the tank body receiving portion 21 is reinforced.

The gantry 20 has a side wall 22 formed in a cylindrical shape with the hole portions 26 on both the left and right sides as a center to constitute a leg portion 30. As a result, the contact area between the lower surface of the gantry 20 and the ground 63 is reduced, the wobbling of the gantry 20 is suppressed, and the tank body 2 can be stably supported. Further, as shown in FIG. 5B, a recessed portion 31 symmetrical to the recessed portion 27 is integrally formed below the recessed portion 27 from the side wall 22 inside the lower surface of the leg portion 30. The gantry 20 having such leg portions 30 has a plate-like portion where the holes 25 and 26 are formed. Therefore, the holes 25 and 26 may be formed by punching in post-processing. Is possible. For example, the flat plate 23 of the tank body receiving portion 21 of the gantry 20 and the bottom plate on which the lower surface 28 of the recess 27 is formed are formed in a single plate shape. In this case, since the holes 25 and 26 with higher accuracy can be formed, the alignment accuracy can be improved.

When the tank body 2 is attached to the gantry 20, the tank body 2 is inserted into the concave portion 27 of the tank body receiving portion 21 of the gantry 20 from the distal end side of the screw portion 16 of the bottom portion 12 of the tank body 2. Since the outer diameter of the concave portion 27 of the tank main body receiving portion 21 is larger than the outer diameter of the screw portion 16 of the convex portion 17 of the tank main body 2 bottom portion 12, and this concave portion 27 has a truncated cone shape. When the tank body 2 is attached to the gantry 20, it is easy to align and insert the threaded portion 16 of the tank body 2 bottom 12 and the attachment work is simple. When the tank body 2 is further inserted, the screw portions 15 and 16 pass through the hole portions 25 and 26, respectively, and protrude below the tank body receiving portion 21. Then, the tank body 2 is attached to the gantry 20 by screwing and fastening the fasteners 32 such as nuts 33 and caps 34 having internal threads formed on the inner peripheral surface from the distal end sides of the screw portions 15 and 16. Fixed. For example, a cap 34 is screwed into the screw portion 15, and a nut 33 is screwed into the screw portion 16. In a state where the tank main body 2 is attached to the gantry 20, the tank main body receiving portion 21 is in surface contact with the bottom portion 12 of the tank main body 2, and the concave portion 27 of the tank main body receiving portion 21 and the convex portion 17 of the tank main body 2 bottom portion 12 are formed. Since the surfaces are brought into contact with each other, the joining strength is increased, and the load from the tank main body 2 is dispersed throughout the tank main body receiving portion 21, so that the tank main body 2 is supported and fixed to the gantry 20 more stably and securely. In addition, misalignment and dropout of the tank body 2 are prevented.

Further, the rainwater storage tank 1 has a lid body receiving portion 35 that supports the lid body 50 in surface contact with the back surface of the lid body 50 at the upper part of the tank body 2. The lid receiving portion 35 has an annular portion 37 provided over the entire circumference inside a step portion 36 formed in the circumferential direction at the upper end of the tank body 2, and a front annular shape at the center in the left-right direction of the tank body 2. It is comprised from the flat bridge | crosslinking part 40 spanned between the part 37 and the cyclic | annular part 37 of the rear side. The annular portion 37 of the lid receiving portion 35 has a rising portion 38 projecting upward while curving in an arc shape from the inside of the step portion 36, and a flat plate-like shape extending further inside the rising portion 38. A flat portion 39 is provided. The bridging portion 40 is formed continuously with the flat portion 39 of the annular portion 37. The lid receiving part 35 is formed integrally with the tank body 2. On the inner side of the lid receiving portion 35, openings 41 are formed on the left and right sides of the bridging portion 40 so as to open upward.

The lid body receiving portion 35 is formed inside the stepped portion 36 at the upper end of the tank body 2 and is formed so as to be bridged back and forth, so that the lid body 50 and the tank are disposed in a state where the lid body 50 is disposed on the tank body 2. The contact area with the main body 2 is increased, the bonding strength is increased, and the displacement of the lid 50 is prevented. Further, the strength of the upper part of the tank main body 2 is strengthened so that the tank main body 2 is not deformed, bent or distorted. Such an effect is realized as a special case when, for example, a large amount of rainwater is stored in the tank body 2.

The lid body 50 is made of resin and is configured to cover the upper portion of the tank body 2. When the lid body 50 is disposed on the tank body 2, the outer peripheral surface thereof has the rainwater introduction port 8 and the overflow drainage port 9. The tank body 2 is formed so as to be on the same or substantially the same surface as the outer peripheral surface 19 of the tank body 2 except for the left and right side portions of the upper rear surface of the tank body 2.

The lid body 50 is a flat top plate 51 that covers the upper portion of the tank body 2, a peripheral wall 52 that hangs down from the periphery of the top plate 51, and is folded back at the lower end of the peripheral wall 52 and curved in an arc shape toward the top plate 51. The folded portion 54 is extended, and the reinforcing plate 55 is provided continuously from the folded portion 54 and is disposed below the top plate 51.

The top plate 51 has an elliptical outer shape, and has a shape corresponding to the tank body 2. The peripheral wall 52 hangs substantially perpendicularly to the periphery of the top plate 51, and is provided over the entire periphery of the top plate 51. The outer peripheral surface 53 of the peripheral wall 52 is on the same surface or substantially the same surface as the outer peripheral surface 19 of the tank main body 2 except for the left and right side portions of the upper rear surface of the tank main body 2 where the rainwater introduction port 8 and the overflow drain port 9 are provided. It is formed to be on top. The folded portion 54 is also provided over the entire circumference.

The folded portion 54 has a shape corresponding to the rising portion 38 of the lid body receiving portion 35 of the tank body 2, and when the lid body 50 is disposed on the tank body 2, the rising portion of the lid body receiving portion 35. The lid 50 is fixed to the tank body 2 by being brought into surface contact with 38.

The reinforcing plate 55 has a flat plate shape and is disposed substantially parallel to the top plate 51. The reinforcing plate 55 has a plurality of joint portions 57 bulging upward in a cylindrical shape, and is connected to the top plate 51 at the upper end of the joint portion 57. The reinforcing plate 55 is provided with a quadrangular protrusion 56 that bulges downward for positioning the lid 50 in the vertical direction. The protrusions 56 are provided, for example, at a plurality of locations on the back surface of the lid 50 corresponding to the flat portion 39 of the lid receiver 35 of the tank body 2, and when the lid 50 is disposed on the tank body 2. The lower end of the protrusion 56 of the reinforcing plate 55 comes into contact with the flat surface portion 39 of the lid receiving portion 35 of the tank body 2, so that the lid 50 is positioned in the vertical direction.

In the rainwater storage tank 1, the top plate 51, the peripheral wall 52, the turned-up portion 54, and the reinforcing plate 55 are all thinned so that the lid 50 is lightened. The flat surface portion of the lid 50 has a double structure in which a reinforcing plate 55 is disposed substantially parallel to the lower portion of the top plate 51, and the strength of the flat surface portion is increased so that deformation, distortion, and the like are less likely to occur. Yes. Further, since both the top plate 51 and the reinforcing plate 55 are connected at the joint portion 57, the strength is further increased. The outer peripheral portion of the lid 50 is composed of a peripheral wall 52 and a folded portion 54, and the inside is hollow. Also in the outer peripheral part of the lid 50, since the peripheral wall 52 and the folded part 54 have a double structure, the strength is increased and deformation, distortion, and the like are less likely to occur.

When the lid 50 is disposed on the tank body 2, as described above, the folded portion 54 is brought into surface contact with the rising portion 38 of the annular body 37 of the lid body receiving portion 35 of the tank body 2 and is engaged with the lid of the tank body 2. The planar portion 39 and the bridging portion 40 of the body receiving portion 35 annular portion 37 are in surface contact with the reinforcing plate 55. For this reason, the bonding strength is increased, and the lid 50 is supported by the lid receiving portion 35 without being displaced, and is reliably disposed on the tank body 2. Also, the lid 50 can be easily detached. Further, the outer peripheral surface 53 of the peripheral wall 52 of the lid 50 is connected to the outer peripheral surface 19 of the tank main body 2 except for the left and right side portions of the upper rear surface of the tank main body 2 where the rainwater introduction port 8 and the overflow drainage port 9 are provided. Because it is formed so that it is on the same surface or almost on the same surface, the rainwater storage tank 1 installed outdoors has a good appearance and a clean appearance that is easy to adjust to the building. Can be harmonized. Further, the reinforcing plate 55 is provided with a quadrangular protrusion 56 for locating the lid 50 in the vertical direction so as to bulge downward. When the lid 50 is arranged on the tank main body 2, Since the lower end of the projection 56 of the plate 55 abuts on the flat surface 39 of the lid receiving portion 35 of the tank body 2, the positioning of the lid 50 in the vertical direction is effectively performed.

In the rainwater storage tank 1, the lid body 50 may be fixed to the tank main body 2 by screws with attachments 58 such as screws and bolts. For example, attachment holes 59 and 60 of attachment tools 58 such as bolts and screws penetrating in the front-rear direction are formed in the peripheral wall 52 and the folded-back portion 54 at the left and right positions of the lid 50. On the other hand, the rising portion 38 of the annular portion 37 of the lid body receiving portion 35 of the tank body 2 has a concave portion 61 formed with a cylindrical recess at a position corresponding to the mounting holes 59 and 60 of the lid body 50. It is provided to bulge out. As shown in FIG. 7, an insert nut 62 is embedded in the recess 61. Then, the attachment 58 is inserted into the attachment holes 59 and 60 of the peripheral wall 52 and the folded portion 54 from the outside of the peripheral wall 52 and screwed into the insert nut 62 to fix the lid 50 to the tank body 2. When the attachment 58 is screwed in fixing the lid 50, the vicinity of the attachment hole 60 of the folded portion 54 of the lid 50 is elastically deformed to act as a washer, and the screwing of the attachment 58 is ensured. The lid 50 is fixed without worrying about loosening of the fixture 58. Therefore, when the lid 50 is fixed by screwing with the fixture 58, a washer is not required, the number of parts can be reduced, and simple attachment is realized.

In the rainwater storage tank 1 described above, the tank body 2, the pedestal 20, and the lid 50 are obtained as molded products by various methods such as vacuum forming, pressure forming, and press forming.

The rainwater storage tank 1 is installed on the ground 63 as shown in FIG. One end of a hose 10 is connected to the rainwater introduction port 8 of the tank body 2, and the other end is connected to a branching portion 66 of a rainwater branching member 65 provided in the middle of the rod 64. The rainwater branching member 65 allows a part of rainwater flowing down in the basket 64 to flow out of the branching part 66 to the outside of the basket 64 when raining, and the rainwater is connected to the branching part 66 of the rainwater branching member 65. Naturally flows into the tank body 2 through the hose 10 and is stored. One end of the hose 11 is connected to the overflow drain port 9 of the tank body 2, and the other end is connected to a junction 68 of a rainwater junction member 67 provided downstream of the rainwater branching member 65 of the basket 64. The rainwater confluence member 67 joins rainwater outside the raft 64 to rainwater flowing down in the raft 64. When rainwater exceeding the capacity of the tank main body 2 is introduced into the tank main body 2, its excess amount Rainwater is drained from the junction 68 of the rainwater junction member 67 to the trough 64 through the hose 11 connected to the overflow drain 9. The rainwater stored in the tank body 2 naturally flows out from the faucet 5 by opening the lever 6 and opening it, and a desired amount of rainwater can be taken out into a container such as a watering can or a bucket. If necessary, a hose may be attached to the faucet 5, and in this case, it is convenient for watering the car away from the rainwater storage tank 1 and car washing.
