Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a practice device for pitching and catching balls which is constituted of a frame made of metal, wood or the like or a base made of concrete on which a reflective board with a movable mechanism capable of changing an angle is placed in order to practice pitching and catching balls by oneself.SOLUTION: The reflective board fixed by the movable mechanism fixed on a back surface of a board for changing an angle and a supporting post for supporting the board is placed on the frame made of metal, wood or the like or the base made of concrete, and a user throws a ball from the front to the reflective board. The ball hit against the reflective board is reflected in a direction of the user in accordance with an angle and a speed of the ball. At the time, when the angle of the reflective board is set to have a large inclination relative to the ground, the user catches the ball that bounces back in the air even if the user throws the ball with a weak force from a position that is close to the reflective board. On the contrary, when the reflective board is set to be approximately vertical to the ground, the user catches the ball that bounces back in the air by pitching the ball with a strong force from a position that is far from the reflective board.
