Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a power generation system including an induction heating device that directly heats a heat medium of a conductive fluid and a power generation unit that converts heat of the heat medium into electric energy.
As a device for heating water, a heating device using induction heating (eddy current) has been proposed (for example, see Patent Document 1). The eddy current heating device described in Patent Document 1 is a conductive rotor having a rotatable rotor having a permanent magnet arranged on the outer periphery and a fixed passage provided outside the rotor, and a flow passage through which water flows. A heating part for the material. Then, when the rotor rotates, the magnetic lines of force (magnetic flux) by the permanent magnets on the outer periphery of the rotor move through the heating unit, so that an eddy current is generated in the heating unit and the heating unit itself generates heat. As a result, the heat generated in the heating unit is transmitted to the water flowing through the internal flow passage, and the water is heated.
The above-mentioned technology is mainly intended to supply hot water using energy such as wind power, but in recent years, power generation systems using renewable energy such as wind power, hydraulic power, and wave power are also attracting attention. .
For example, Non-Patent Documents 1 to 3 describe technologies relating to wind power generation. In wind power generation, a windmill is rotated by wind and a generator is driven to generate electric power. Wind energy is converted into rotational energy and extracted as electric energy. A wind power generation system generally has a structure in which a nacelle is installed at the top of a tower, and a horizontal axis wind turbine (a wind turbine whose rotation axis is substantially parallel to the wind direction) is attached to the nacelle. The nacelle stores a speed increaser that speeds up and outputs the rotational speed of the rotating shaft of the windmill, and a generator that is driven by the output of the speed increaser. The speed increaser increases the number of rotations of the wind turbine to the number of rotations of the generator (for example, 1: 100), and a gear box is incorporated.
Recently, there is a tendency to increase the size of a windmill (wind power generation system) in order to reduce the power generation cost, and a wind power generation system with a wind turbine diameter of 120 m or more and an output per unit of 5 MW has been put into practical use. Such large-scale wind power generation systems are huge and heavy, and are often constructed offshore for construction reasons.
In wind power generation, the power generation output (power generation amount) fluctuates with the fluctuation of wind power. Therefore, a power storage system is added to the wind power generation system, unstable power is stored in the storage battery, and the output is smoothed. It has been broken.
However, in the conventional induction heating apparatus as described in Patent Document 1 described above, since the heating unit itself generates heat, and the heat is transmitted to the heat medium to heat the heat medium, so-called indirect induction heating, Loss occurs and there is a problem in terms of heating efficiency. Thus, in order to transfer a large amount of heat from the heating unit to the heat medium, it is conceivable to increase the contact area between the heating unit and the heat medium.
On the other hand, in a generally well-known wind power generation system, a power storage system is installed for output smoothing, but the power storage system requires components such as a converter in order to store power in a storage battery. As a result, the system becomes complicated and power loss increases. Further, in the case of a large-scale wind power generation system, a large-capacity storage battery corresponding to the amount of power generation is required, which increases the cost of the entire system.
Moreover, many of the causes of failure of the wind power generation system are due to problems with the gearbox, more specifically, the gear box. When a gearbox breaks down, it is usually dealt with by exchanging the gearbox. However, if a nacelle is installed at the top of the tower, it takes a lot of time and labor to install and remove the gearbox. So recently there are gearless variable-speed wind generators that do not require a gearbox.
However, the gearless case can be dealt with by specifically increasing the number of poles of the generator (multipolar generator), but the generator becomes larger and heavier than when using a speed increaser. In particular, in a large-scale wind power generation system of 5 MW class, the weight of the generator is considered to exceed 300 tons (300000 kg), and it is difficult to arrange in the nacelle.
The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and one of its purposes is to provide a power generation system that generates heat by directly inductively heating a heat medium and converting the heat of the heat medium into electric energy. There is.
The power generation system of the present invention includes an induction heating device that heats a heat medium and a power generation unit that converts heat of the heat medium into electric energy, and the heat medium is a conductive fluid. The induction heating device includes a pipe that houses a heat medium, and a magnetic flux generation unit that is provided outside the pipe and generates a variable magnetic flux. And the electromagnetic induction is produced in the heat medium in piping by the fluctuation | variation magnetic flux of a magnetic flux generation part, and the heat medium is directly induction-heated, It is characterized by the above-mentioned.
The power generation system of the present invention is a novel power generation system that does not have a conventional power generation system that uses heat of a heat medium heated by using an induction heating device for power generation. As an example, a heated heat medium is sent to the power generation unit side, steam is generated by a heat exchanger, and power is generated by rotating the generator by a steam turbine using the steam. And according to the electric power generation system of this invention, since it was set as the structure which converts heat into an electrical energy, energy can be stored as heat using a thermal accumulator, and the stable electric power generation system is realizable. In addition, a power generation system that can store heat in a heat accumulator and simultaneously extract heat necessary for power generation from the heat accumulator is simpler than a power storage system, and the heat accumulator is cheaper than a storage battery.
Furthermore, in the power generation system of the present invention, a conductive fluid is used as the heat medium, and an electric current is generated in the heat medium by electromagnetic induction to generate heat (so-called direct induction heating). ) Is high, and the induction heating device can be miniaturized. The conductive fluid here refers to a fluid that can flow current in a liquid state and has a conductivity of 1000 S / m or more.
As one form of the electric power generation system of this invention, it is mentioned that a heat medium is at least 1 type selected from the group which consists of a molten metal, molten salt, and electrolyte solution.
All of the above-described conductive fluids are generally conductive in a liquid state and have high conductivity compared to water, and thus can be suitably used as a heat medium.
Molten metals are particularly preferred because they usually have a higher electrical conductivity than molten salts and electrolytes. When using molten metal, the melting point and boiling point that are in the liquid state (molten state) within the operating temperature range (range of the target set temperature when heating the heat medium) are taken into consideration when circulating in the piping. It is preferable to have. Examples of the molten metal include Na, Mg, Al, Zn, Ga, Sn, Pb, and alloys thereof (for example, solder alloys). Among these metals, Na, Sn, Pb, and solder alloys have low melting points. Of these metals, Na, Mg, and Al are lightweight, so that they can easily be circulated in the piping. These metals exist in a solid state under normal temperature and normal pressure, but since a current can flow even in the solid state, they can be directly heated by electromagnetic induction. Therefore, even if the molten metal accommodated in the pipe is cooled and becomes a solid state, it can be directly heated by electromagnetic induction to return to the liquid state. At this time, the heat medium in a portion of the heat medium in the pipe that is not directly heated by electromagnetic induction is heated by conduction of the heat of the heat medium directly heated by electromagnetic induction, and can be in a liquid state. .
Since the molten salt is lighter than the molten metal, it is easy to circulate in the pipe. Examples of the molten salt include ZnCl 2 , BeCl 2 , and LiClO 3 , and among these molten salts, ZnCl 2 is preferable in consideration of conductivity and handleability. These molten salts usually exist in a solid state at room temperature and normal pressure, but since a current cannot flow in the solid state, they cannot be directly heated by electromagnetic induction. Therefore, in order to prevent the molten salt contained in the pipe from cooling and becoming a solid state, for example, when the pipe is provided with heat retaining means such as a heater for heating the molten salt or when the induction heating device is stopped, For example, the molten salt is collected in a container having a heat retaining function, and the molten salt is supplied from the container to the pipe when the induction heating apparatus is started.
Since the electrolytic solution is lighter than the molten metal, it is easy to circulate in the piping. Further, since the electrolytic solution exists in a liquid state even at normal temperature and normal pressure, it is not necessary to separately provide the above-described heat retaining means like a molten salt. Examples of the electrolytic solution include KCl and NaCl. In the case of using a molten salt or an electrolytic solution, for example, a conductive filler made of Al, Cu, or carbon may be contained in order to increase the electrical conductivity.
On the other hand, the piping does not react with the heat medium (corrosion resistance) and may be formed of a heat-resistant material. It may be formed of a conductive material such as stainless steel, or a non-conductive material (insulator) such as ceramics. It may be formed. For example, it may be formed of a metal material such as austenitic stainless steel or hastelloy, or ceramics such as alumina. When a metal material is used for the piping, the piping itself is also induction-heated by a magnetic flux that varies from the outside. In the present invention, the heating medium is mainly heated by the heat generated by the heating medium itself. Therefore, it is not necessary to increase the contact area between the pipe and the heat medium in order to transmit the heat of the heating unit exclusively to the heat medium. In addition, the conductive fluids listed above usually have a higher boiling point than water, and can maintain a liquid state even when heated to, for example, more than 100 ° C., thus preventing an increase in internal pressure due to vaporization. . Therefore, the pipe can be thinned.
In the power generation system of the present invention, examples of the form of piping in the induction heating apparatus include the following first to third forms.
A 1st form is a form arrange | positioned so that piping may cross the fluctuation | variation magnetic flux of a magnetic flux generation part.
In this embodiment, the fluctuation magnetic flux is linked to the heat medium in the pipe, and the magnetic flux penetrates the heat medium, so that an eddy current is generated in the heat medium due to electromagnetic induction, and the heat medium generates heat due to the electric resistance of the heat medium. .
A 2nd form is a form which piping arrange | positions around the magnetic path through which the fluctuation | variation magnetic flux of a magnetic flux generation part passes, and has an annular part continuous in the circumferential direction.
In this embodiment, the heat medium accommodated in the annular portion of the pipe disposed around the magnetic path through which the varying magnetic flux passes constitutes an electrical closed circuit. For this reason, the fluctuation magnetic flux passes through the magnetic path, so that an induced current is generated in the heat medium in the annular portion constituting the electric closed circuit, and the heat medium generates heat due to the electric resistance of the heat medium.
In the third embodiment, the pipe has a coil part that is arranged around a magnetic path through which the variable magnetic flux of the magnetic flux generation part passes and is wound in a coil shape. And it is a form provided with the connection conductor which is arrange | positioned along the axial direction of a coil part and electrically connects the said heat medium of the upstream and downstream in a coil part.
In this embodiment, an electrical closed circuit is configured by the heat medium accommodated in the coil portion of the pipe disposed around the magnetic path through which the varying magnetic flux passes and the connection conductor. For this reason, an induced electromotive force (counterelectromotive force) is generated in the heat medium in the coil part that constitutes the electrical closed circuit by the fluctuation magnetic flux passing through the magnetic path, and the induced electromotive force causes an induced current in the heat medium in the coil part. And the heat medium generates heat due to the electric resistance of the heat medium.
In any of the first to third embodiments described above, the heat medium can be directly induction heated. In particular, the second and third embodiments in which a part of the heat medium in the pipe forms an electrically closed magnetic path around the magnetic path of the fluctuating magnetic flux generated by the magnetic flux generating part are the magnetic flux generating part As compared with the first embodiment in which the piping is arranged so as to cross the magnetic path of the fluctuating magnetic flux generated, the heat generation efficiency can be increased. This is because the first embodiment requires a higher magnetomotive force in the magnetic field generator than the second and third embodiments in order to allow magnetic flux to penetrate from the outside to the heat medium in the pipe.
In the power generation system of the present invention, it is preferable that the variable magnetic flux generated from the magnetic flux generation unit in the induction heating device is due to a coil.
A permanent magnet or a coil (electromagnet) can be used as the magnetic flux generating means. Examples of the coil include a normal conducting coil such as a copper wire and a superconducting coil using a superconducting wire. When using a coil, compared with the case where a permanent magnet is used, a strong magnetic field can be generated. Specifically, it is possible to generate a strong magnetic field by increasing the current supplied to the coil, and it is also possible to adjust the strength of the magnetic field by controlling the supplied current. Since the calorific value is proportional to the square of the magnetic field intensity, further improvement in the calorific value can be expected. In addition, in the case of a coil, compared to a permanent magnet, the magnetic characteristics are less likely to deteriorate due to a temperature rise, and the magnetic characteristics are less likely to deteriorate over time. Therefore, when the magnetic flux generated from the magnetic flux generator is caused by a coil, it is easy to maintain a sufficient magnetic field intensity by increasing the energizing current, and the heat medium to a temperature suitable for power generation (eg, 100 ° C. to 600 ° C.). Performance (thermal energy) sufficient to generate heat can be obtained. For example, in the above-described induction heating device of Patent Document 1, since the permanent magnet is disposed at a position near the heating unit and close to the heating unit, the temperature of the permanent magnet is likely to rise due to the influence of heat from the heating unit. As a result, it is considered that there is a possibility that the magnetic characteristics are deteriorated and the heat medium cannot be heated to the above temperature.
Furthermore, when a current is passed through the coil to generate a magnetic field, the superconducting coil has an extremely low electrical resistance, and even when a large current is passed through, the coil does not substantially generate heat (loss). Therefore, compared with a normal conducting coil, heat generation (loss) of the coil due to flowing a large current can be suppressed, and an extremely strong magnetic field can be generated while the power loss is small.
The power generation system of the present invention can generate power by converting the heat of the heat medium heated using the induction heating device into electric energy by the power generation unit. Since the heat medium is a conductive fluid and the heat medium is directly heated by induction, the heat generation efficiency is high and the induction heating device can be downsized.

(Embodiment 1)
The
The rotating
The material for forming the
In this example, the rotating body 11 (including the convex portion 111) is formed of a nonmagnetic material. When a normal conducting coil is used for the
The
The
In this example, the
Further, a heat insulating material (not shown) may be arranged on the outer periphery of the
As the heat medium, for example, a conductive fluid (conductivity: 1000 S / m or more) such as a molten metal, a molten salt, or an electrolytic solution can be used. The conductive fluid used for the heat medium preferably further satisfies the following conditions. (1) High electrical conductivity (for example, electrical conductivity: 10000 S / m or more), (2) Melting point and boiling point in a liquid state within the operating temperature range (target temperature range when the heat medium generates heat) (For example, melting point: 450 ° C. or lower, boiling point: 800 ° C. or higher), (3) light weight (small density) (for example, density: 3 g / cm 3 or lower).
Examples of the molten metal include Na, Mg, Al, Zn, Ga, Sn, Pb, and alloys thereof (for example, solder alloys), among which Na is preferable. Examples of the molten salt include ZnCl 2 , BeCl 2 , and LiClO 3. Among these, ZnCl 2 is preferable. Examples of the electrolytic solution include KCl and NaCl. In the case of using a molten salt or an electrolytic solution, for example, a conductive filler made of Al, Cu, or carbon may be contained in order to increase the electrical conductivity. In this example, Na is used as the heat medium.
Here, for example, when a molten salt is used as the heat medium, since the molten salt cannot flow an electric current in a solid state, in order to maintain the molten salt in a liquid state, such as a heater that heats the molten salt to the pipe A heat retaining means may be provided. Alternatively, when stopping the induction heating device so that the molten salt in the piping does not cool and become a solid state, when recovering the molten salt from the piping to a container having a heat retaining function, and when starting the induction heating device, It is good also as a structure which supplies molten salt to piping from a container. On the other hand, when a molten metal is used for the heat medium, an electric current can be passed even in a solid state, but in order to maintain the molten metal in a liquid state, as in the case of using a molten salt, The heat retaining means may be provided separately.
When the heat medium is circulated in the pipe, the heat medium may be continuously supplied to the pipe at a predetermined flow rate. Alternatively, the heat medium is supplied to the pipe, and after the heat medium generates heat to a predetermined temperature, the heat medium is discharged from the pipe, that is, the heat medium is intermittently supplied to the pipe so as to repeat supply, accommodation, and discharge. May be supplied.
The
Next, the heat generation mechanism of the heat medium in the
In the
In this
Here, in the
Further, the number of
In the
(Embodiment 2)
The
The
The

Next, the heat generation mechanism of the heat medium in the
By rotating the
In this

(Embodiment 3)
The
The

Next, the heat generation mechanism of the heat medium in the
In this example, molten metal Na is used as the heat medium. Here, in the

<Power generation system>
Next, an example of the overall configuration of the power generation system according to the present invention will be described with reference to FIG. A power generation system P shown in FIG. 11 includes an
The
The
A
In the
The
The
The secondary heat medium steam discharged from the power generation unit 60 (steam turbine 61) is cooled by the
According to this power generation system P, the
In the power generation system described above, water is used as an example of the secondary heat medium. In addition, a low-boiling medium that vaporizes at a lower temperature than water (for example, alcohol, antimony, ammonia, pentane, etc.) is used as the secondary heat medium. Can be used.
Note that the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment, and can be modified as appropriate without departing from the gist of the present invention.
