The present invention relates to a comb-tooth breakage detection device for a passenger conveyor that detects breakage of a comb-tooth of a passenger conveyor.

A conventional comb tooth breakage detection device for an escalator is provided with a plurality of cleats formed on the upper surface of a step, a plurality of combs extending from the boarding board and extending along the boarding board, and provided at the tip of each comb. In an escalator including comb teeth sliding in the cleat, the escalator includes a plurality of conductive wires provided in each comb tooth and arranged in series with each other, and a disconnection detecting device for detecting a broken line of each conductive wire. (For example, refer to Patent Document 1).

However, the conventional escalator comb-tooth breakage detection device has a conductive wire that is flexible even if the comb tooth breaks. In some cases, it was impossible to detect damage.

The present invention has been made to solve the above-described problems, and an object of the present invention is to obtain a comb-tooth breakage detecting device for a passenger conveyor that can reliably detect the breakage of comb teeth.

A comb-tooth breakage detecting device for a passenger conveyor according to the present invention circulates between a pair of entrances and exits, configures a step having a step surface, and an end of a floor member constituting the floor of the entrance and exit, Comb teeth breakage of a passenger conveyor provided with a comb having comb teeth that can be engaged with each other, the conductive member provided inside the comb teeth and having a hardness weaker than the hardness of the comb teeth, A power source for energizing the conductive member and a breakage detecting means for detecting breakage of the comb teeth based on a change in the energized state of the conductive member are provided.

According to the comb-tooth breakage detecting device for a passenger conveyor according to the present invention, the conductive member is made of a material that is weaker than the comb-tooth hardness. The conductive member corresponding to is also surely damaged. Thereby, since the energization state of the conductive member changes, when the comb teeth are broken, the breakage of the comb teeth can be reliably detected by the breakage detecting means.

In FIG. 3 to FIG. 6, the comb tooth breakage detection device 30 is provided in each comb tooth 22 and is made of a material such as graphite having conductivity and weaker than the hardness of the comb tooth 22. As a breakage detecting means for detecting breakage of the comb teeth 22 based on a change in the energized state of the conductive member 31, a power supply 33 that supplies power to the conductive member 31 (energizes) A photocoupler 35 and an information processing unit 40 that outputs comb tooth breakage information based on the breakage detection signal of the comb tooth 22 output from the photocoupler 35 are provided.

The conductive member 31 is embedded in each of the comb teeth 22 constituting each comb 20 so as to extend linearly along the edge of the comb teeth 22.

In addition, the conductive members 31 embedded in the adjacent comb teeth 22 are connected by an electrical connection portion (not shown) made of the same material as the conductive member, and the plurality of conductive members 31 are connected in series. It is connected.
Further, wiring ports 21b are formed on both side surfaces of the attachment portion 21 in the longitudinal direction. Each of the pair of conductive wires 27 is drawn into the attachment portion 21 via each of the pair of wiring ports 21b.

One conductive wire 27 drawn into the attachment portion 21 is connected to one end of the conductive member 31 positioned at one end in the arrangement direction of the comb teeth 22.
The other conductive wire 27 drawn into the mounting portion 21 is connected to the other end of the conductive member 31 located at the other end in the arrangement direction of the comb teeth 22.

Therefore, the signals at both ends of the conductive member group configured by connecting the conductive members 31 embedded in all the comb teeth 22 of each comb 20 can be taken out via the conductive wire 27.
Although not shown in detail, conductive wires 27 drawn from opposite side surfaces of the side surfaces of the attachment portions 21 adjacent to each other are connected. Thereby, all the conductive members 31 embedded in the comb teeth 22 of the four combs 20 are connected in series.

The detection signal determination unit 41 and the transmission unit 42 are realized by some functions of the escalator control panel 18. The detection signal determination unit 41 and the transmission unit 42 are realized by an input / output interface, a CPU, a RAM, a ROM, and the like.

Next, details of the system configuration of the comb breakage detection device 30 will be described.
In FIG. 6, a plurality of conductive members 31 connected in series and a photodiode 36 of a photocoupler 35 are connected in series, and a plurality of conductive members 31 and a pair of input / output terminals (not shown) of a power source 33 are connected. A photodiode 36 is incorporated.
The photocoupler 35 is supplied with power from a 5V power source 39.

The output terminal of the phototransistor 37 of the photocoupler 35 and the detection signal determination unit 41 are electrically connected. Further, the detection signal determination unit 41 and the transmission unit 42 are connected so as to be communicable, and the transmission unit 42 and the management information center 43 where the manager is present are connected so as to be communicable.

Next, the operation of the comb tooth breakage detection device 30 will be described.
When the comb 20 is in a normal state, a current flows through the photocoupler 35 and the input / output (collector-emitter) of the phototransistor 37 is energized, and the output side terminal of the phototransistor 37 is at a high level.

From this state, when some foreign matter is caught between the comb teeth 22 and the comb teeth 22 are broken, a part of the conductive member 31 connected in series is broken, and no current flows through the photodiode 36. The input and output of the phototransistor 37 are cut off, and the output side terminal of the phototransistor 37 is at a low level.

When the detection signal determination unit 41 determines that the output of the phototransistor 37 has changed from the high level to the low level, the detection signal determination unit 41 determines that the comb tooth 22 has been damaged, and determines that the comb tooth 22 has been damaged. To the management information center 43.

When the manager in the management information center 43 receives the damage occurrence information, the manager instructs the site to take appropriate measures.

According to the comb-tooth breakage detecting device 30 of the passenger conveyor of the present invention, the conductive member 31 provided inside the comb-tooth 22 has a hardness that is weaker than the hardness of the comb-tooth 22. Therefore, as the comb teeth 22 are damaged, the conductive member 31 is also damaged. Thereby, since the energization state of the conductive member 31 changes, when the comb teeth 22 are broken, the breakage of the comb teeth 22 can be reliably detected by the photocoupler 35. Based on the breakage detection signal output from the photocoupler 35, the manager in the management information center 43 can take appropriate measures.

In the above embodiment, the breakage detection means is described as being the photocoupler 35. However, the breakage detection means is configured by an ammeter or the like, and the detection signal determination unit 41 recognizes the measurement result by the ammeter. What is necessary is just to connect the detection signal judgment part 41 and an ammeter as possible. That is, the form of the breakage detecting means is not particularly limited as long as the breakage of the comb teeth can be detected based on the change in the energized state of the conductive member.

In addition, the conductive member has been described as being made of graphite, but the material is not particularly limited as long as it has conductivity and is weaker than the hardness of the comb teeth 22.
Moreover, although the passenger conveyor was demonstrated as what is an escalator, this application is applicable even if it is a sidewalk in which a passenger conveyor moves.
