図３に示す薄型テレビ取付キャビネット１０は、底板１４の上に、前記薄型テレビ取付装置１を装着した背面板１１と同背面板１１の左右両側面に同背面板１１を支持して直立させる脚体１２となるコの字形状の側面板を備え、さらに前記背面板１１及び脚体１２としての側面板の上に、薄型テレビ１０を図３（ｂ）に示すように画像表示面を上方に向けて収納した際前記画像表示面を落下物などから防止する天板１３を備えている。
前記底板１４は、図４に示すように、薄型テレビ２０を装着した薄型テレビ取付装置１の薄型テレビ取付アーム３を最も長く伸ばした状態で第１アーム回動軸受部６に軸支された回転軸（図示せず）の回りに回動させても前記薄型テレビ取付キャビネット１０が安定しているのに必要な形状と質量とを有していればよく、また、脚体１２となる側板も、コの字形状に限られるものでなく、上記薄型テレビ取付アーム３の回動範囲を狭めない形状で前記天板１２を載置可能な機能を備えていればどのような形状であってもよい。 A flat TV mounting cabinet 10 equipped with the flat TV mounting device 1 of the present invention has a back plate 11 on which the flat TV mounting device 1 is mounted, and supports the back plate 11 on both left and right sides of the back plate 11.
