このように本実施の形態の携帯無線機301によれば、操作部106を第1操作部302、第2操作部303といった2つの操作部から成り、第1操作部と第2操作部の間隔をd1<d2<d3となるように設定し、無線通信用アンテナ部203を第1操作部302、第2操作部303の中間位置かつヒンジ部104とは対抗する端部に配置するようにしたので、使用者の手202が無線通信用アンテナ部203に近接することなく、高いアンテナ性能を実現できる。
なお、無線通信用アンテナ部203は線状又は板状形状で構成されるモノポールアンテナだけでなく、板状逆Fアンテナ、パッチアンテナでも同等の効果を有する。
図4に本実施の形態2に係る携帯無線端末の使用状態を説明するための正面図を示す。図4において、前述した図1の携帯無線端末101、図2の携帯無線端末201及び図3の携帯無線端末301と共通する部分には同一の符号を付ける。
本実施の形態2は本実施の形態1に第3の筐体402を追加した構成である。第3の筐体402は第2の筐体105内に内蔵され、第2の筐体105と着脱可能な構造で固定される。また、無線通信用アンテナ部203は第3の筐体に内蔵される。
このように本実施の形態の携帯無線機401によれば、第3の筐体を備えた携帯無線端末において、操作部106を第1操作部302、第2操作部303に分割し、第1操作部と第2操作部の間隔をd1<d2<d3となるように設定し、無線通信用アンテナ部203を第1操作部302、第2操作部303の中間位置かつヒンジ部104とは対抗する端部に配置するようにしたので、使用者の手202が無線通信用アンテナ部203に近接することなく、高いアンテナ性能を実現できる。なお、無線通信用アンテナ部203は線状又は板状形状で構成されるモノポールアンテナだけでなく、板状逆Fアンテナ、パッチアンテナでも同等の効果を有する。
