樹脂微粒子の平均粒子径は、樹脂微粒子のスラリーをイオン交換水中0.1質量%にて調整後、超音波処理したものを測定用試料とし、レーザー回折式粒度分布計(SALD―2100:株式会社島津製作所製)を用いて測定した。なお、平均粒子径とは、体積換算の粒子径分布において、全体固体粒子量に対する積算固体粒子量が50%となる粒子径(いわゆるメディアン径)を意味するものである。
尚、粒子径分布指数は、数平均粒子径に対する体積平均粒子径の比により算出した。ここで言う数平均粒子径および体積平均粒子径は、走査型電子顕微鏡写真からそれぞれ前述の式により算出する。尚、粒子が真円でない場合は、長径を測定するものとする。

When the particle is not a perfect circle, the major axis is measured.
