Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging bag with checking function capable of spouting out contents in comparatively large amount and on a fixed quantity, while capable of preventing the inflow of outside air with a simplified structure.SOLUTION: The packaging bag with checking function is formed of: a body 2 whose periphery is made up of at least two pieces of laminated films 4, 5 to be heat-sealed; a spout member 3 made of a thermoplastic resin being molded, located at the uppermost end part or upper part of either of the two lateral edges of the body 2, with the spout member 3 being sandwiched between a front side laminated film 4 and a back side laminated film 5 both constituting the body; and flexible films 7 having heat-sealability, mounted respectively on the upper insides of the front and back side laminated films 4, 5, with their circumferential parts being heat-sealed with a partly unsealed section left over, storing a liquid object within the body 2, while the unsealed section (m) is in the proximity to the spout member 3.

Description

With respect to a packaging bag such as a pouch containing a liquid content having a spout member formed by molding a thermoplastic resin, more specifically, each of the insides of the laminated films on the front side and the back side has heat sealability. A flexible film is attached in the vicinity of the spout member, leaving a part of the unsealed part by heat-sealing the peripheral part, and the interposition of the flexible film caused by interposing the contents between the flexible films and accommodating Non-sealed function that prevents inflow of outside air into the main body by closing the front side laminated film and the back side laminated film by intruding between the soft film and laminated film from the unsealed part and acting inward. It is related with the packaging bag provided with.

Conventionally, packaging bags that contain fluids such as soy sauce and salad oil have a film-like check nozzle projecting on the side of the body made of a soft laminated film, and this nozzle is a liquid material between overlapping plastic films. Has a non-returning function of the outside air into the packaging bag due to the close contact between the films, and the quality of the liquid material can be maintained as it is for a long time without oxidizing the contents in the packaging bag ( For example, there is a patent document 1).

However, in such a packaging bag, since the nozzle is provided in a form extending from the main body in a part of the main body containing the contents, when the contents are poured out by tilting the packaging bag Insufficient fluid pressure, only a small amount of content comes out from the nozzle, and the amount of dispensing is too big to be dispensed, so it is difficult to dispense. On the other hand, both sides of the packaging bag are pressed. Therefore, a large amount of contents may be ejected from the nozzle at a time. In addition, when opening a new packaging bag, the nozzle tip, which is a spout, is cut and the contents are poured out from the nozzle. There is a risk that impurities will adhere to the tip of this nozzle, There was also a problem.
Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide a packaging bag having a check function capable of dispensing a relatively large amount of contents in a relatively large amount and preventing inflow of outside air with a simple configuration.

For this reason, the invention according to claim 1 is a main body formed by heat-sealing a periphery composed of at least two laminated films, and an upper end portion of the main body or an upper portion of one of the side end portions, A spout member formed by molding a thermoplastic resin sandwiched between the laminated film on the front side and the laminated film on the back side, and each inside of the upper part of the laminated film on the front side and the back side, respectively. A non-sealed portion in a packaging bag, which comprises a heat-sealable flexible film attached by heat-sealing the peripheral portion while leaving a part of the unsealed portion; Is characterized in that it is in the vicinity of the spout member.

The invention according to claim 2 is the packaging bag according to claim 1, wherein the flexible film is a linear low density polyethylene film having a thickness of 20 to 40 μm or a polypropylene film having a thickness of 15 to 40 μm. It is characterized by.

According to the first aspect of the present invention, a main body formed by heat-sealing the periphery of at least two laminated films and an upper end portion of this main body or an upper portion of one of the side end portions constitutes the main body. Partially unsealed on the spout member formed by molding a thermoplastic resin sandwiched between the laminated film on the front side and the laminated film on the back side, and inside each of the upper part of the laminated film on the front side and the back side In a packaging bag that includes a heat-sealable soft film that is attached by heat-sealing the peripheral part leaving the part, and the unsealed part is in the vicinity of the spout member, Therefore, the mutual adhesion effect of the soft film caused by interposing the contained material between the flexible films, and the contained material invades between the flexible film and the laminated film from the unsealed part and inwardly. It has a non-return function to prevent inflow of outside air into the main body by closing the front side laminated film and the back side laminated film, and it has a simple configuration with a flexible film provided in the packaging bag body. In addition to providing an inflow check function, when pouring the contents in the main body from the spout member, the vicinity of the spout serves as a liquid reservoir, and the contents are directed to the spout member via the liquid reservoir. By temporarily storing the contents in the liquid reservoir, a relatively large amount of the contents can be quantitatively poured out by the spout member.

According to the invention described in claim 2, since the flexible film is a linear low density polyethylene film having a thickness of 20 to 40 μm or a polypropylene film having a thickness of 15 to 40 μm, the flexible film having appropriate flexibility. By doing so, the check function of inflow of outside air can be effectively given to the packaging bag.

The best mode for carrying out the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. FIG.
Fig. 2 is an overall side view showing a first embodiment of a packaging bag having a check function according to the present invention, Fig. 2 is an overall perspective view and an enlarged schematic sectional view of the packaging bag, and Fig. 3 is an assembly drawing of the packaging bag. is there.

The packaging bag 1 having the non-return function of the present invention contains liquids of foodstuffs (or may be pharmaceuticals or industrial products) such as wine, sake, soy sauce, vinegar, oil, etc. It is a well-known stand pouch shown in the example, a main body 2 formed by heat-sealing the periphery of a laminated film, a spout member 3 formed by molding a thermoplastic resin, and a flexible film 7 having heat-sealability Consists of

First, as shown in FIG. 3, the main body 2 has a pair of rectangular layers having the same size, a front side laminated film 4 and a back side laminated film 5 interposed between these laminated films 4 and 5. And a laminated film 6 at the bottom having the same width as the laminated films 4 and 5 folded in two with respect to the folding line.

These laminated films 4, 5, and 6 have gas barrier properties and have a laminated structure composed of at least a sealant layer and a base film layer. As typical examples of the material, the following configurations can be given. it can.
(1) IBON film / adhesive layer / L / LDPE film (2) IBPET film / adhesive layer / L / LDPE film (3) IBON film / extrusion coating layer PE
(4) IBON film / extrusion coat layer PE / L / LDPE film (5) IBPE film / extrusion coat layer PE / L / LDPE film (6) IBPE film / adhesive layer / ON film / adhesive layer / L / LDPE film Film (7) ON film / adhesive layer / IBPET film / adhesive layer / L / LDPE film (8) ON film / adhesive layer / IBPET film / adhesive layer / CPP film

The above-mentioned IBON film is a biaxially stretched nylon film with silica or alumina vapor deposition, the L / LDPE film is a linear low density polyethylene, the IBPET film is a biaxially stretched polyethylene terephthalate film with silica vapor deposition or alumina, PE represents polyethylene, ON film represents a biaxially stretched nylon film, and CPP film represents an unstretched polypropylene film. Further, the ON film and the PET film act as a base film, and the L / LDPE film and the CPP film act as a sealant layer. In addition, the silica-deposited or alumina-deposited surface of the IBON film or IBPET film is not exposed on the outermost surface in order to prevent damage. In (1), (2) and (6) to (8), the adhesive layer side, (3) to (5) are preferably on the extrusion coating layer side. In addition, since the non-return function is not effectively exhibited when the laminated films 4 and 5 are too high in rigidity, it is preferable to set the rigidity to the minimum necessary for providing self-supporting properties. For example, (3) is an IBON film (15 μm). ) / Extrusion coat layer PE (40 μm), (4) can be IBON film (15 μm) / extrusion coat layer PE (20 μm) / L·LDPE film (40 μm). In addition, the number with (micro | micron | mu) m in () shows the thickness of each layer.

Next, the spout member 3 is formed by molding a thermoplastic resin, for example, a cylindrical pouring portion 3a made of a hollow cylindrical portion, a hollow adhesive base portion 3b provided continuously with the cylindrical pouring portion 3a, It is comprised from the detachable cover part 3c which can be fitted to the cylindrical extraction | pouring part 3a, and can use the medium density or high density polyethylene, polyester, polycarbonate etc. other than a polypropylene as the material.

Further, in the packaging bag 1 of the present invention, the rectangular flexible film 7 is sandwiched between the front side laminated film 4 and the back side laminated film 5 with the folding line folded in a V shape on the upper side. . The flexible film 7 is formed so that the length (width) in the fold line direction is shorter than the width of the front laminated film 4 (rear laminated film 5) (details will be described later).

Further, the flexible film 7 is required to be a film having a repulsive force smaller than the surface tension of water and having a heat sealing property in order to develop a check function. Low density polyethylene (L / LDPE film), unstretched polypropylene film (CPP film), or the like can be used. The thickness of the flexible film 7 is preferably 20 to 40 μm for the L / LDPE film and 15 to 40 μm for the CPP film. In the L / LDPE film, if the thickness is less than 20 μm, the rigidity is too low and it is difficult to handle without wrinkles, and if the thickness is more than 40 μm, the rigidity is too high and the check function cannot be effectively expressed. Similarly, even a CPP film is difficult to handle without wrinkles when the thickness is less than 15 μm and difficult to handle without wrinkles, and when the thickness is greater than 40 μm, the rigidity is too high to exhibit the check function effectively.

As shown in FIG. 3, each of the above members is laminated with the laminated films 4 and 5 with the sealant layer inside, and the upper end portion of these laminated films 4 and 5 or one of the upper side end portions (in the drawing). Then, the spout member 3 is sandwiched between the laminated films 4 and 5 by heat-sealing the hollow adhesive base 3b between the laminated films 4 and 5, and the outer end of the flexible film 7 is connected to the spout member 3 at the upper end of the left end. Align the upper end (folded line) of the flexible film 7 with the upper end of the laminated films 4 and 5 in accordance with the side end opposite to the attached side end (the right side end in the figure). Seal portions s1 and s2 in which both side edges of the films 4 and 5 are heat-sealed, and a seal portion s3 in which the upper end portions are heat-sealed are formed.

Next, the lower end portions of the front side surface 7a and the back side surface 7b of the flexible film 7 have seal portions s4 that are heat-sealed on the inner side surfaces of the laminated films 4 and 5 over the side surfaces of the laminated films 4 and 5, respectively. It is formed. In order to effectively express the check function, the seal position of the seal portion s4 is below the extension line l extending from the lower end of the hollow adhesive base portion 3b of the spout member 3 toward the inside of the main body 2. Is done.

Furthermore, from the seal part s1 below the spout member 3 to the side end part of the flexible film 7 on the spout member 3 side, a seal part s5 is formed by heat-sealing the laminated film on the front side and the back side. In order to effectively express the non-return function, the seal line on the upper side of the seal portion s5 is extended from an extension line l extending from the lower end of the hollow adhesive base portion 3b of the spout member 3 toward the inside of the main body 2. The region is below and above the extension line extending from the seal portion s4 toward the outside of the main body 2. Further, in order to guide the contents to pass between the flexible films 7 reliably, the seal line on the upper side of the seal portion s5 descends from the lower end of the hollow adhesive base portion 3b of the spout member 3 toward the inside of the main body 2. It is preferable to form so as to. In this example, the seal portion s5 extends from the seal portion s1 below the spout member 3 to the side end portion on the spout member 3 side of the flexible film 7, but exceeds the side end portion of the flexible film 7. You may seal to the inside. By carrying out like this, it can guide | lead that an accommodation thing passes between the flexible films 7 more reliably.

Further, at the lower part of the laminated films 4 and 5, each of the laminated films 4 and 5 and the edges of the opposing surfaces of the bottom laminated film 6 facing each other with the fold line facing upward are heat-sealed, thereby the main body 2. Is formed at the bottom. And this bottom part is formed in the substantially circular arc shape which becomes large, so that the seal width of an up-down direction is close to the seal parts s1 and s2 of a right-and-left side edge, and can extend a bottom greatly in the side part width direction center part of the main body 2. It is possible. The self-supporting property can be improved by sealing in this way. Needless to say, the main body 2 is filled with the contents, and the description of the filling process is well known and will be omitted.

In this example, the main body 2 is composed of three members: a laminated film 4 on the front side, a laminated film 5 on the back side, and a laminated film 6 on the bottom side. For example, the laminated film 6 on the bottom side is attached to the laminated film 4 on the front side via a folding line. It may be provided in a continuous manner and may be composed of two members of the laminated film 5 on the back side, or from one member in which the laminated film 6 on the bottom side and the laminated film 5 on the back side are sequentially connected to the front side laminated film 4 via a folding line. It may be configured. In this example, a standing pouch shape is used, but a flat pouch shape in which the peripheral portions of the front side laminated film 4 and the back side laminated film 5 are heat-sealed may be used. Moreover, although the spout member 3 was attached to the upper part of the left end part in this example, you may attach to the location which does not have a flexible film of an upper end part.

In the packaging bag 1 of the present invention, since the hollow adhesive base portion 3b has a thickness, a bulging portion f is formed in the vicinity of the spout member 3. The volume of the bulge portion f is determined by the rigidity of the laminated films 4 and 5, the thickness T and width W of the hollow adhesive base 3b, the mounting position of the hollow adhesive base 3b, the shape of each seal portion, etc., and can be designed as appropriate. . This bulge portion f is configured as a liquid reservoir portion f.

Further, in the vicinity of the spout member 3, a region A where the flexible film 7 is not provided, that is, a space surrounded by the seal portions s 1, s 3, s 5 and the inner end of the flexible film 7 on the main body 2 side is formed. If the inner end of the flexible film 7 on the side of the main body 2 is too close to the spout member 3, it becomes difficult for the flexible film to adhere to each other and to prevent the contained material from entering between the flexible film and the laminated film. It is not preferable because it is difficult to express it, and it is not preferable because it is too far from the spout member 3 (the width of the flexible film becomes too narrow), because the area where the check function is expressed decreases. For example, when the thickness W of the hollow adhesive base 3b in the spout member 3 is 10 mm, the width of the region A where there is no flexible film is preferably 10 to 15 mm.

Here, the details of the contents extraction work in the packaging bag 1 will be described with reference to FIGS. FIG. 4 is a side view of a packaging bag that tilts the main body to pour out the contents and a front view of the vicinity of the spout member. FIG. 5 is a view of the packaging bag after the main body is returned to its original position and the pouring of the contents is finished. It is a front view of the side view and the spout member vicinity.

When the contents in the packaging bag 1 are to be poured out from the spout member 3, the lid 3c is removed from the cylindrical spout 3a of the spout member 3, and the spout member 3 is removed as shown in FIG. Tilt the main body 2 downward. At this time, most of the stored items stored in the main body 2 move to the upper portion of the main body 2 beyond the position of the seal portion s4, so that the front side 7a and the back side 7b of the flexible film 7 are liquid pressure of the stored items. As a result, the upper portions of the laminated films 4 and 5 are also expanded outward, respectively, and the flow path of the contents in the main body 2 is secured.

At this time, the liquid reservoir portion f stores an amount of storage that can be accommodated within the range of the space volume. Therefore, a relatively large amount of storage in the liquid storage portion f is inclined to the main body 2. Along with the weight of the container, the container can be smoothly poured out from the spout member 3 by being pressed by the container under the main body 2 that has passed the position of the seal portion s4.

Further, since the contents in the main body 2 are poured out from the spout member 3 through the liquid reservoir f, even if the laminated films 4 and 5 are pressed by hand, the liquid pressure is directly applied to the spout member 3. However, the liquid reservoir portion f becomes a buffer portion, so that a large amount of stored matter in the main body 2 is not ejected from the spout member 3, and an appropriate amount of stored matter is smoothly poured out from the spout member 3. be able to. Further, the amount of extraction is determined by the opening diameter R of the cylindrical extraction portion 3a.

Next, when finishing the pouring of the contents, the posture of the packaging bag 1 is returned from the tilted state to the original horizontal state, and the lid portion 3c is fitted into the cylindrical pouring portion 3a. At this time, most of the contents in the vicinity of the spout member 3 and in the liquid reservoir f and in the upper part of the main body 2 move to the lower part of the main body 2 beyond the seal part s4 due to their own weight. In addition, many things that stay in the liquid reservoir f move along the seal part s5, and return to the lower part of the main body 2 beyond the position of the seal part s4.

At this time, since the repulsive force of the flexible film 7 is smaller than the surface tension of the container, the front side 7a and the back side 7b of the flexible film 7 in the state where the container is interposed cause mutual adhesion and Since the contents enter from the unsealed portion m between the front side 7a and the laminated film 4 and between the back side 7b of the flexible film and the laminated film 5, the front side 7a and the back side 7b shrink inside the main body 2. The upper portions of the laminated films 4 and 5 are also shrunk inward. Without this unsealed part m, the flexible film 7 cannot move freely, so that the mutual adhesion function cannot be functioned.

For this reason, the upper part of the main body 2 from the spout member 3 through the space A to the position of the flexible film 7 is in a closed state with the contents sandwiched therebetween, and the stored contents are accommodated in the lower part of the main body 2. There is communication to the containment. That is, the flow path and the accommodation portion of the accommodation from the spout member 3 to the lower part of the main body 2 in the packaging bag 1 are filled only with the accommodation, and this accommodation is the laminated films 4 and 5 and the softness. The film 7 is enclosed between the front side 7a and the back side 7b.

Therefore, there is no space for the outside air to flow into the packaging bag 1 from the cylindrical extraction portion 3a of the spout member 3 when the contents are poured out. Therefore, it is possible to prevent premature oxidation of the contents, and to maintain the quality of the contents in the packaging bag 1 for a long time.

With such a configuration, the intimate contact between the front side 7a and the back side 7b of the flexible film 7 in which the inclusion is interposed and the inward movement of the accommodation between the flexible film 7 and the laminated film 4 or 5 work. In addition to causing the non-return function of the packaging bag 1, the stored material is temporarily stored in the liquid reservoir f so that a relatively large amount of stored material is quantitatively poured out by the spout member 3. be able to.

In addition, the flexible film 7 is not limited to the structure mentioned above. 6 is a perspective view of the upper portion of the packaging bag of the second embodiment, FIG. 7 is a perspective view of the upper portion of the packaging bag of the third embodiment, and FIG. 8 is a laminated film of the two flexible films of the first embodiment. It is a perspective view of the packaging bag upper part which shows the example attached individually inside.

As shown in FIG. 6, in the second embodiment, a rectangular flexible film 7 ′ having the same lateral width as the front side laminated film 4 and the back side laminated film 5, with the fold line folded in a V shape on the upper side, A shape in which a corner portion near the spout member 3 ′ is cut out in an arc shape is heat-sealed and attached to the main body. For this reason, since the flexible film 7 'exists in the inflow / outflow path of the stored item, the seal portion s5 that is an essential requirement in the first embodiment may not be provided. With such a configuration, the soft film 7 ′ can obtain the same effect as described above, in which the non-return function of the outside air and the liquid reservoir f ′ can stably pour out an appropriate amount of the contents. In addition, since the check function cannot be effectively expressed if the area where the soft film 7 ′ is present in the outflow / inflow path of the contained material is small, the soft film 7 ′ starts from the lower end of the cutout of the soft film 7 ′. The distance h1 to the lower end of 'is preferably a certain distance. The distance h1 is determined by the size of the packaging bag, the volume of the liquid reservoir f ′, and the like, and can be designed as appropriate. In this example, the arc-shaped cutout is used, but it may be a straight line or a broken line. Further, in this example, the spout member 3 ′ is attached to the upper end portion, but it may be attached to a place where the flexible film 7 ′ on the upper right end portion is not present. In addition, area | region A 'which does not have flexible film 7' is an area | region enclosed by seal part s1, s3 and the notch part of flexible film 7 '.

In addition, as shown in FIG. 7, in the third embodiment, the spout member 3 ″ is attached by being sandwiched between the laminated films 4 and 5 by heat sealing to the seal portion s3 at the center of the upper end of the main body 2. A rectangular flexible film 7 ′ having the same width as the front side laminated film 4 and the back side laminated film 5 is folded upward in a V shape, and the upper part in the vicinity of the spout member 3 ′ is cut out in an arc shape. Heat-sealed and attached to the body. By comprising in this way, since the flexible film 7 '' exists in the inflow / outflow path of the contents, it is not necessary to provide the seal portion s5 as in the second embodiment. In addition, area | region A '' without soft film 7 '' is an area | region enclosed by the notch part of seal part s3 and flexible film 7 ''.

Accordingly, even in such a case, the flexible film 7 ″ can obtain the same effect as described above, which allows the outside air check function and the liquid reservoir f ″ to stably pour out an appropriate amount of storage. it can. In addition, if the area where the soft film 7 ″ is present in the inflow / outflow path of the contained material is small, the non-return function cannot be effectively expressed, so that the soft property can be applied from the lower end of the cutout of the soft film 7 ″. The distance h2 to the lower end of the film 7 ″ is preferably a certain distance. This distance h2 is determined by the size of the packaging bag, the volume of the liquid reservoir f ″, etc., and can be designed as appropriate. In this example, an arc-shaped notch is used, but a broken line may be used.

Further, as shown in FIG. 8, in the first example, the flexible film 7 ″ ″ is not individually folded into a V shape as described above, but individually rectangular and the same shape 2. A sheet of film may be attached to the main body 2. Similarly, in the second embodiment and the third embodiment, two films having the same shape may be opposed to each other so that their peripheral portions overlap each other and attached to the main body. Therefore, even in such a case, the flexible film 7 '' '' can obtain the same effect as described above, and the liquid storage part f can stably pour out an appropriate amount of stored matter. The degree of freedom in the manufacturing process can be expanded.

Although the packaging bag has been described with a standing pouch, the packaging bag with a check function according to the present invention is not limited to a standing pouch, and is a packaging bag using a flat pouch having no independence as shown in FIG. 1 'may be sufficient. FIG. 9 is an overall side view of a packaging bag with a check function showing an example using a flat pouch. In this case, the packaging bag 1 ′ is the same as that described above except that the sealing portion s 6 is formed by heat-sealing the lower ends of the laminated films 4 and 5.

The packaging bags 1 and 1 'of the present invention can be enclosed in an outer box. FIG. 10 is an overall perspective view of the packaging bag enclosed in the outer box, and FIG. 11 is an overall perspective view of the packaging bag housed in the sleeve-like outer box. In this case, for example, the packaging bag 1 ′ shown in FIG. 9 will be described as an example. The packaging bag 1 ′ is enclosed in a paper box 8 made of, for example, six sides. Is formed with a hole 9 through which the spout member 3 protrudes. Although not shown, the box 8 may be provided with a lid, a perforation for opening, an opening for checking the remaining amount, and the like.

Further, in order to prevent the packaging bag 1 ′ from being bent in the box 8 and exhibiting the non-return function, the upper end of the packaging bag 1 ′, the lower surface of the top of the box 8, and the lower end of the packaging bag 1 ′ It is preferable to adhere and fix both of them to an appropriate location on the upper surface of the bottom plate of the box 8 via an adhesive portion b made of an adhesive or the like. In addition, in order to make the packaging bag 1 ′ exhibit the check function with certainty, the width of the depth of the outer box 8 is substantially equal to the width of the depth of the packaging bag 1 ′ filled with the contents.

With such a configuration, the packaging bag 1 ′ has a non-return function of outside air and can stably dispense an appropriate amount of storage by the liquid reservoir, and has a design drawn on the surface of the outer box 8. It has the effect of being easy to hold (easy to hold) the design property and the paper-made and fixed outer box 8. The box 8 may be a transparent clear case. By doing so, it is possible to always check the state of the contents.

Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 11, a belt-shaped paper having a height substantially equal to the vertical height of the packaging bag 1 'is wound, and the packaging is placed in a sleeve-shaped outer box 10 having one side end closed. The bag 1 'may be installed. Also in this case, in order to prevent the packaging bag 1 ′ from being bent in the box 8 and exhibiting the check function, the upper and lower portions of any of the laminated films 4 and 5 constituting the packaging bag 1 ′, It is preferable that both the positions of the inner surface of the outer box 10 facing each other are bonded and fixed via an adhesive portion b made of an adhesive or the like.

Moreover, the hole 11 which makes this spout member 3 protrude is formed in the part in which the spout member 3 of the outer box 10 is located. Furthermore, although not shown, the outer box 10 may be provided with a fold line or the like in an opening for confirming the remaining amount or a portion where the left and right side surfaces of the packaging bag 1 ′ are located. By adopting such a configuration, it is possible to obtain the same effect as when the above-described outer box 8 is used. The outer box 10 may be provided with a paper stand 12 at the lower center of both side surfaces in order to give the packaging bag 1 'self-supporting properties.

As described above in detail, the packaging bag 1 for storing the liquid container in this example in the main body 2 includes the main body 2 formed by heat-sealing the periphery of at least two laminated films 4 and 5, and the main body. 2 is a spout formed by molding a thermoplastic resin sandwiched between the front side laminated film 4 and the back side laminated film 5 constituting the main body.
