Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a method for repairing a turbine rotor, and more particularly to a method for repairing by a build-up welding after removing generated damage.
Thermal power plants and nuclear power plants generate electricity using steam turbines. Steam turbine components such as turbine rotors are exposed to corrosive environments. Cracks due to stress corrosion cracking, corrosion fatigue, etc. occur in stress concentrated parts such as blade grooves of the turbine rotor. This crack becomes larger as the operation continues, and if left as it is, the blades will eventually come off the turbine rotor and destroy other parts. Therefore, the power plant regularly inspects each of the turbine rotors for cracks and periodically checks the growth status.
Repair cracks that have occurred as necessary. The turbine rotor is replaced when it cannot be dealt with by repair. However, it is desirable to repair before the replacement in consideration of cost. Repair of a turbine disk constituting the turbine rotor (hereinafter referred to as a turbine rotor for convenience in the present application) is generally performed by overlay welding (for example, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2004-181480 (Patent Document 1)). JP, 2006-51524, A (patent documents 2)).
TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding or submerged arc welding can be employed as a welding method applied when repairing the turbine rotor by overlay welding. And in order to prevent coarsening of the crystal grains in the weld heat affected zone, there was a strong tendency to adopt TIG welding with a slow welding speed, but submerged arc welding with a fast welding speed was applied by examining the welding conditions. (Patent Literature 1, Patent Literature 2).
In the submerged arc welding, a granular flux is supplied along a welded portion, and a welding wire is inserted therein to perform welding. At this time, the supplied flux needs to be deposited while welding is performed. On the other hand, in order to repair the turbine rotor, build-up welding is performed while rotating the turbine rotor that supports the rotating shaft horizontally. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 15 need to be deposited. Therefore, when the radius of the
The present invention has been made based on such a technical problem, and even for a small-diameter turbine rotor, the flux is stably deposited on the construction surface through a welding process, thereby repairing the turbine rotor by submerged arc welding. It is an object of the present invention to provide a method that is easy to perform.
The present invention supplies the flux from the first supply hopper to the welding surface while rotating the turbine rotor with the rotation shaft horizontally supported around the rotation shaft, and the welding torch wire is placed in the deposited flux. It is assumed that build-up welding is performed by submerged arc welding while inserting.
Under this premise, the present invention is characterized in that a baffle member for preventing the flux from dropping from the construction surface is disposed close to the turbine rotor. That is, the baffle member prevents the flux from falling from the construction surface and deposits an amount of flux sufficient to perform submerged arc welding.
In the present invention, it is preferable to control the position of the baffle member in response to the build-up welding being continuously performed and the diameter of the turbine rotor including the build-up weld portion being increased. In this case, it is preferable to keep the distance between the baffle member and the turbine rotor constant, but it is not necessary to be constant if an amount of flux sufficient to perform submerged arc welding can be deposited.
In order to prevent the flux from falling, it is preferable that there is no gap between the baffle member and the turbine rotor (including the build-up weld). Therefore, for example, it is conceivable to make a baffle member with a steel plate and arrange it so as to contact the turbine rotor. However, it is difficult to ensure the rotation of the turbine rotor without interference between the baffle member and the turbine rotor because of the accuracy of the build-up weld. Further, in the actual construction process, there are a portion where the build-up welding is performed and a portion where the build-up welding is not performed, so that the interval between the portion where the build-up welding is not performed and the baffle member becomes large. Accordingly, the present invention provides a heat-resistant flexible member at the opposite end of the baffle member to the turbine rotor, and closes the gap between the baffle member and the turbine rotor by contacting the heat-resistant flexible member with the turbine rotor, and the rotation of the turbine rotor. Is preferably ensured.
In the present invention, the nozzle of the flux supply hopper can function as a baffle member. In this case, in addition to the first supply hopper, a second supply hopper is provided on the downstream side of the first supply hopper, and the flux discharge nozzle of the second supply hopper functions as a blocking member.
Most of the flux in submerged arc welding is free-falling from the supply hopper. The first supply hopper may follow this. However, the second supply hopper needs to supply the flux in the direction opposite to the rotation direction of the turbine rotor, but this cannot be realized by the flux supply that relies on free fall. Therefore, the second hopper has a function of forcibly supplying the flux.
According to the present invention, even a small-diameter turbine rotor can stably deposit flux on the construction surface through the welding process, so that the turbine rotor can be repaired by submerged arc welding.
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail based on embodiments shown in the accompanying drawings.

The build-up
The build-up
In the
The

Here, since the flux F supplied from the

In this embodiment, the distance between the

Moreover, since the build-up
Moreover, since the
The build-up

In these cases, since the
Although illustrations other than the main parts are omitted in FIG. 5, it goes without saying that the various elements shown in FIGS. 2 to 4 can be applied to the example of FIG. The same applies to FIG.
