Claims (6)
- 記憶領域ネットワークシステムであって、
コンピュータデータを記憶するためのデータ記憶手段と、
クライアント上で実行される記憶マネージャルーチンであって、
データ記憶手段上のコンピュータデータの取得されるべきスナップショットにダイレクトするための機能要素を有している記憶マネージャルーチン
を備えている記憶マネージャルーチンと、
スナップショットの特性を決定し、かつ、スナップショットの特性の少なくとも一部分に基づいて、スナップショットの所定の幾つかを選択的に削除するためのスナップショットランク付マネージャと
を備えていることを特徴とする記憶領域ネットワークシステム。 - 請求項1記載の記憶領域ネットワークシステムにおいて、スナップショットの特性は、スナップショットが取得された論理ボリュームに存在するデータを使用するアプリケーションのタイプ、及び、データのミッションクリティカルアスペクトを含んでいることを特徴とする記憶領域ネットワークシステム。
- コンピュータデータを記憶するためのデータ記憶手段と、クライアント上で実行される記憶マネージャルーチンであって、データ記憶手段上のコンピュータデータの取得されるべきスナップショットにダイレクトするための機能要素を有している記憶マネージャルーチンを備えている記憶マネージャルーチンとを備えている記憶領域ネットワークシステムであって、スナップショットの特性を決定し、かつ、スナップショットの特性の少なくとも一部分に基づいて、スナップショットの所定の幾つかを選択的に削除するためのスナップショットランク付マネージャを備えていることを特徴とする記憶領域ネットワークシステム。
- 請求項3記載の記憶領域ネットワークシステムにおいて、スナップショットの特性は、スナップショットが取得された論理ボリュームに存在するデータを使用するアプリケーションのタイプ、及び、データのミッションクリティカルアスペクトを含んでいることを特徴とする記憶領域ネットワークシステム。
- コンピュータ読み取り可能な記憶媒体に記憶されたスナップショットランク付マネージャプログラムであって、スナップショットの特性を決定し、かつ、スナップショットの特性の少なくとも一部分に基づいて、スナップショットの所定の幾つかを選択的に削除するための機能要素を備えていることを特徴とするスナップショットランク付マネージャプログラム。
- 請求項5記載のスナップショットランク付マネージャプログラムにおいて、スナップショットの特性は、スナップショットが取得された論理ボリュームに存在するデータを使用するアプリケーションのタイプ、及び、データのミッションクリティカルアスペクトを含んでいることを特徴とするスナップショットランク付マネージャプログラム。
