Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a tire testing apparatus used for testing various characteristics of a tire.
The tire test apparatus includes a roller that is rotated by a motor, a spindle that is rotatably supported by a bearing, and a load cell that detects torque applied to the spindle, and a tire fixed to the spindle is pressed against the circumferential surface of the roller together with the roller. An apparatus for measuring the rolling resistance of a tire based on torque detected by a load cell while rotating is known (for example, Patent Document 1).
When a tire test is performed, it is necessary to preheat the tire temperature to a temperature according to the test conditions before starting the test. Also, the roller that comes into contact with the tire and performs heat exchange with the tire needs to be preheated in the same manner as the tire.
Therefore, an object of the present invention is to efficiently perform such tire and roller preheating in a tire testing apparatus.
In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides a tire testing apparatus used for testing a tire, a tire motor coupled to the tire, a roller in which the tire is pressed against a peripheral surface, and a roller motor coupled to the roller. And an air conditioner, and an air conditioner that blows out air conditioned to the air conditioner and sucks air from the air conditioner, and the roller motor and the tire motor are arranged outside the air conditioner, A roller and a tire connected to the tire motor are disposed inside the conditioning room, and the temperature-controlled air blown out from the air conditioner to the conditioning room is formed by adjusting the shape of the conditioning room to the roller and the tire. Along with the rotation of the tire connected to the motor, the shape rotates around the peripheral surface of the roller and the peripheral surface of the tire connected to the tire motor.
According to such a tire testing apparatus, the temperature-controlled air blown from the air conditioner to the conditioning chamber is connected to the periphery of the roller and the tire motor by using the rotation of the roller and the tire. The tire and the roller can be preheated uniformly and efficiently by circulating around the peripheral surface of the tire.
Here, more specifically, the shape of the conditioning room is such that the gap between the inner wall of the conditioning room and the peripheral surface of the roller is opposite to the side facing the tire connected to the tire motor. A narrowed shape is set so that the gap between the inner wall of the conditioning room and the peripheral surface of the tire connected to the tire motor becomes a narrowed shape on the side opposite to the side facing the roller. be able to.
In addition, such a tire testing apparatus is provided with a tire storage case for storing tires not connected to the tire motor, and the air conditioner supplies air sucked from the conditioning room into the tire storage case. It is also preferable to efficiently perform preliminary temperature adjustment of the tire being stored.
As described above, according to the present invention, the tire and the roller can be preheated efficiently in the tire testing apparatus.
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described.
1a1-a4 shows the configuration of a tire testing apparatus according to this embodiment.
Here, FIG. 1a4 is a perspective view of the tire testing apparatus, and as shown in FIG. 1a4, it is assumed that the top, bottom, front, back, left and right are defined, FIG. 1a1 shows the tire testing apparatus viewed from the left, and FIG. Fig. 1a3 shows the tire testing apparatus viewed from the right side as viewed from above.
As shown in the figure, the tire test apparatus includes a base 1, a roller 2, a roller shaft 3 connected to the roller 2, a roller shaft bearing 4 fixed to the base 1, and a roller shaft. 3, a roller shaft torque meter 5 for detecting the torque around the axis (twist direction) applied to the roller 3, a roller tachometer 6 for detecting the rotation speed of the roller shaft 3, a roller pulley 7 fixed to the roller shaft 3, and a base 1. A roller motor pulley 9 fixed to a rotating shaft of the roller motor 8, and a roller belt 10 wound around the roller pulley 7. With this configuration, the torque generated by the roller motor 8 is transmitted to the roller 2, and the roller 2 rotates as the roller motor 8 rotates.
Further, the tire testing apparatus includes a stage 12 supported by two guide shafts 11 so as to be movable back and forth with respect to the base 1.
On the stage 12, a tire shaft 13 as a test object is fixed to one end of a tire shaft 13, the tire shaft 13 is rotatably supported, a tire shaft bearing 14 fixed to the stage 12, and the tire shaft 13. The tire shaft torque meter 15 detects the torque around the axis (torsion direction) applied to the tire, the tire tachometer 16 detects the rotational speed of the tire shaft 13, the tire pulley 17 fixed to the tire shaft 13, and the stage 12. A tire motor 18, a tire motor pulley 19 fixed to the rotation shaft of the tire motor 18, and a tire belt 20 wound around the tire pulley 17. With such a configuration, the torque generated by the tire motor 18 is transmitted to the tire 50, and the tire 50 rotates as the tire motor 18 rotates.
Further, as shown in FIG. 1 b, the tire testing apparatus includes an actuator 21 inside the base 1, and the actuator 12 pushes and pulls the lower portion of the stage 12 to move the stage 12 back and forth with respect to the base 1. It is possible to move in the direction or press the peripheral surface of the tire 50 against the peripheral surface of the roller 2 with an arbitrary force.
Here, according to such a configuration, the rotational speed of the roller 2 output from the roller tachometer 6 or the tire tachometer 16 in a state where the circumferential surface of the tire 50 is pressed against the circumferential surface of the roller 2 with an arbitrary force. Tire motor 18 and roller motor 8 while referring to the rotational speed of tire 50 output from the roller, the axial torque of roller 2 output from roller shaft torque meter 5, the detected value of tire shaft torque meter 15 as necessary. By controlling the generated torque, it is possible to perform a test in which the tire 50 is rotated at a desired rotational speed while applying a desired load. In this test, the rotation speed of the roller 2 output from the roller tachometer 6, the rotation speed of the tire 50 output from the tire tachometer 16, the shaft torque of the roller 2 output from the roller shaft torque meter 5, the tire Various characteristics of the tire 50 can be measured using the detection value of the shaft torque meter 15.
Now, in such a configuration, each of the above parts is accommodated in the cover 300 in a form covered with the cover 300 as shown in FIGS.
Here, FIG. 2 a schematically shows a configuration of a space formed by the cover 300 viewed from above through a top surface portion of the cover 300 and a controlled-temperature wall plate 311 described later.
As shown in the drawing, the space inside the cover 300 is divided by an inner wall 301 into a test chamber 310 that houses the roller 2 and the tire 50, and a machine chamber 320 that houses other components. Here, the test chamber 310 and the machine chamber 320 are shielded by the cover 300 except for a hole through which the roller shaft 3 and the tire shaft 13 pass.
Next, FIG. 2B schematically shows a configuration in the test chamber 310 as seen from the left side through the left side surface portion of the cover 300.
As shown in the drawing, a conditioning room wall plate 311 is provided in the testing room 310 to form a conditioning room 3100 accommodating the roller 2 and the tire 50 by dividing the testing room 310. Here, as will be described later, the conditioning wall plate 311 also has a role of circulating air around the circumferential surface of the roller 2 and the circumferential surface of the tire 50 as the roller 2 and the tire 50 rotate. I'm in charge.
As shown in FIGS. 2A and 2B, a blowout duct 410 of the air conditioner 400 is connected to a lower part on the front side of the conditioning room 3100, and a suction duct of the air conditioner 400 is connected to an upper part on the front side of the conditioning room 3100. 420 is connected. Further, the exhaust duct 430 of the air conditioner 400 is connected to a tire storage box 500 that houses a plurality of tires.
Although not shown, a temperature sensor that measures the temperature of the roller 2 and the tire 50 in a non-contact manner is provided in the conditioning room 3100.
In such a configuration, air whose temperature is adjusted to a desired temperature according to the test conditions is supplied from the air conditioner 400 through the blowout duct 410 into the temperature-controlled room 3100, and the temperature sensor uses the air after temperature adjustment. The temperature of the roller 2 and the tire 50 measured by the above is adjusted until the temperature according to the test conditions is reached. Details of the temperature adjustment operation of the roller 2 and the tire 50 by the air after temperature adjustment will be described later.
In addition, air in the conditioning room 3100 is sucked out from the upper part of the conditioning room 3100 by the air conditioner 400 through the suction duct 420.
Then, the air conditioner 400 exhausts the air sucked out from the inside of the conditioning room 3100 to the tire storage box 500 through the exhaust duct 430. The tire storage box 500 is semi-sealed, and is provided with holes and slits serving as air ports inside and outside the tire storage box 500 at various places. Then, the air exhausted from the air conditioner 400 to the tire storage box 500 through the air port is discharged from various places of the tire storage box 500 to the outside.
Here, the air exhausted from the air conditioner 400 to the tire storage box 500 is closer to the desired temperature according to the test conditions than the ambient temperature. Therefore, each tire stored in the tire storage box 500 is preliminarily heated to a temperature closer to the desired temperature according to the test conditions than the ambient temperature by the air exhausted from the air conditioner 400 to the tire storage box 500. It will be stored in the state. As a result, when the tire 50 stored in the tire storage box 500 is mounted on a tire testing apparatus and tested, the temperature can be quickly adjusted to a desired temperature according to the test conditions of the tire 50. .
Next, the details of the temperature adjustment operation of the roller 2 and the tire 50 by the air after temperature adjustment from the air conditioner 400 described above will be described.
First, prior to the start of the above-described test, the air conditioner 400 is activated and the tire test apparatus is warmed up.
In the warm-up operation, first, the actuator 21 is driven to move the stage 12 forward, and the roller 2 and the tire 50 are separated.
Next, the supply of air after temperature adjustment to the air conditioning room 3100 from the air conditioner 400 is started, and the roller motor 8 and the tire motor 18 are driven. As shown by the dotted arrows in FIG. 2 and the tire 50 are rotated counterclockwise as viewed from the left in the same rotational direction.
Here, in the conditioning wall plate 311, the gap between the roller 2 and the conditioning wall plate 311 becomes narrower toward the rear of the roller 2, and at the rear end of the roller 2, the gap It has a shape that is narrowed down so that it cannot be ignored for movement as a fluid (for example, the gap is several centimeters). Further, the temperature-controlled wall plate 311 is such that the gap between the tire 50 and the temperature-controlled wall plate 311 becomes narrower toward the front of the tire 50, and at the front end of the tire 50, the gap is an air fluid. The shape is narrowed down so as to be sufficiently narrow (for example, the gap is several centimeters) so that it cannot be ignored.
For this reason, the flow of the air after temperature adjustment supplied from the air conditioner 400 to the lower front part in the conditioning room 3100 through the blowing duct 410 to the suction duct 420 connected to the upper front part of the conditioning room 3100 is: This includes the flow indicated by the solid arrows in FIG. 2b.
That is, a part of the temperature-adjusted air blown from the air conditioner 400 through the blowout duct 410 and into the conditioning room 3100 from the front lower part to the rear part passes through the gap between the conditioning room wall plate 311 and the roller 2. Due to the suction effect caused by the squeezing at the rear part of the roller 2 and the rotation of the roller 2, the roller 2 is guided to the rear of the roller 2 around the lower surface of the roller 2, wraps around the rear surface of the roller 2 and Rotate and proceed ahead of roller 2.
Then, a part of the air that has advanced to the front of the roller 2 proceeds to the suction duct 420 as it is and is discharged from the conditioning chamber 3100, and the other part of the air passes through the clearance between the conditioning chamber wall plate 311 and the tire 50. Due to the suction effect caused by the narrowing down at the front and the rotation of the tire 50, the tire 50 is guided to the front of the tire 50 around the upper surface of the tire 50.
In this way, the air guided to the front of the tire 50 is guided to the rear of the tire 50 along the conditioning wall plate 311, and the air guided to the rear of the tire 50 is connected to the front surface of the roller 2. Passing between the rear surface of the tire 50 and moving upward, a part of the tire 50 proceeds to the suction duct 420 and is discharged from the conditioning room 3100. Here, the rotational speeds of the roller motor 8 and the tire motor 18 are adjusted so that the air guided to the rear of the tire 50 passes upward between the front surface of the roller 2 and the rear surface of the tire 50 and moves upward. The peripheral speed is controlled to be larger than the peripheral speed of the roller 2. However, since the tire 50 and the roller 2 usually have a larger surface roughness than the tire 50, when the tire 50 rotates at the same peripheral speed, the tire 50 has a greater force acting on the air than the roller 2. Therefore, the circumferential speed of the tire 50 does not necessarily need to be larger than the circumferential speed of the roller 2, and the force that moves the air on the rear surface of the rotating tire 50 upward moves the air on the front surface of the rotating roller 2 downward. It is sufficient to set the peripheral speed of the tire 50 with respect to the peripheral speed of the roller 2 so as to overcome the moving force.
As a result, the temperature-adjusted air supplied from the air conditioner 400 can circulate around the peripheral surface of the roller 2 and the peripheral surface of the tire 50, and the roller 2 and the tire 50 can be efficiently preheated.
The embodiment of the present invention has been described above.
As described above, according to the present embodiment, the temperature-controlled air blown from the air conditioner 400 to the temperature adjustment chamber 3100 using the rotation of the roller 2 and the tire 50 is changed to around the peripheral surface of the roller 2 and the tire 50. By circulating around the circumference, the tire 50 and the roller 2 can be preheated efficiently and uniformly.
