Description

The present invention relates to a washing machine including a rotating drum that rotates coaxially inside a bottomed cylindrical washing tub.

In recent years, a drum-type washing machine that has been widely used includes a bottomed cylindrical washing tub that is supported with its axis oriented sideways or obliquely sideways, and a rotating drum that rotates coaxially within the washing tub. I have. The drum motor that drives the rotating drum is attached to the outer surface of the bottom plate of the washing tub, and the rotating drum is connected to the output end of the drum motor that protrudes inside the washing tub.

In this type of washing machine, washing, rinsing and dewatering operations are performed individually or as a series of operations. The washing operation is performed by a procedure in which the laundry is put into the rotating drum, an appropriate amount of washing water is supplied into the washing tub, and the rotating drum is repeatedly rotated at a low speed. The laundry contains washing water, is repeatedly lifted and dropped by the rotation of the rotating drum, and is struck and washed against the peripheral surface of the rotating drum. The rinsing operation is performed by a procedure in which rinsing water is supplied into the washing tub and the rotating drum is rotated at a low speed as in the washing operation. This rinsing operation is usually repeated a plurality of times.

Many of the drum-type washing machines are provided with a circulation channel that communicates the lowermost part of the washing tub with the front opening of the rotating drum. This circulation water channel is provided in order to improve the washing and rinsing effect by circulating the washing water or the rinsing water into the rotating drum during the washing and rinsing operation and spraying it on the laundry.

The dehydrating operation is performed by rotating the rotating drum at a high speed after the rinsing operation is completed. At this time, the laundry in the rotating drum rotates integrally with the rotating drum being attached to the peripheral wall of the rotating drum, and water contained in the laundry is separated by the action of centrifugal force accompanying high-speed rotation, and the rotating drum It is discharged through a water passage hole formed through the peripheral wall. This dehydration operation is also performed before the start of a plurality of rinsing operations, and each rinsing operation is performed by appropriately dehydrating the water contained in the laundry and then newly supplying the rinsing water.

In the washing machine configured as described above, washing water or rinsing water adheres to the inner surface of the washing tub (the inner surface of the peripheral wall and the bottom plate) together with dirt and detergent components, and molds such as black mold are attached to the attachment portion. May occur. The drum-type washing machine is generally configured as a washing / drying machine that also serves as a drying machine. In this case, most of the water adhering to the inner surface of the washing tub is rotated during the drying operation. Although it evaporates when it comes into contact with the drying air circulating in the tub, the bottom plate of the washing tub faces the bottom plate of the rotating drum and is insufficiently in contact with the drying air. There is a great risk of generation

The mold generated in this way is mixed in the circulating water circulating as described above during the washing or rinsing operation, introduced into the rotating drum, and adheres to the laundry in the rotating drum. In the past, various proposals aimed at addressing this problem have been made (see, for example, Patent Documents 1, 2, and 3).

The washing machines disclosed in Patent Documents 1 and 2 are provided with a tank for storing circulating water in the middle of the circulation channel, supplying ozone into this tank, and circulating purified storage water to circulate the purified water. Further, in the washing machine of Patent Document 2, the tank and the circulation water channel are formed of a porous material, and dirt and detergent components contained in the circulation water are adsorbed and removed, and molds in the washing tub Is suppressed.

Moreover, in the washing machine disclosed in Patent Document 3, a washing tub made of an antibacterial material such as an antibacterial resin and stainless steel is used to prevent the generation of molds in the water adhering part.

Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 9-299691

In the conventional washing machine as described above, a certain effect is obtained for preventing the occurrence of molds on the inner surface of the washing tub, but this effect is limited, and in particular, the inner surface of the bottom plate where the adhering water tends to remain. It is difficult to effectively prevent the generation of molds, and during washing or rinsing operation, molds are mixed into water that contacts the inner surface of the bottom plate of the washing tub, and introduced into the rotating drum as circulating water. The problem of adhering to the inside laundry cannot be solved.

The present invention has been made in view of such circumstances, and prevents molds generated on the inner surface of the bottom plate of the washing tub from adhering to the laundry, and effectively prevents the quality of the laundry from being deteriorated. An object is to provide a washing machine that can be used.

A washing machine according to the present invention has a bottomed cylindrical shape, and includes a rotating drum that rotates on the same axis as the washing tub inside a washing tub that is supported with its axis oriented sideways or obliquely sideways. During the washing and rinsing operation where the rotating drum rotates at low speed, the water in the washing tub is supplied to the rotating drum through the circulation channel and circulated for use. In the washing machine for discharging water dehydrated from the laundry in the drum to the outside through the drainage channel, provided in the vicinity of the bottom plate of the washing tub, and a water collecting part for collecting water flowing down along the bottom plate, The water collecting portion is provided with a communication passage communicating with the drainage channel.

In the present invention, a water collecting part is provided in the vicinity of the bottom plate of the washing tub where molds are likely to be generated, and water flowing down in contact with the bottom plate is collected in the water collecting part and discharged into the drainage channel through the communication passage. Thus, the mold is prevented from being mixed into the circulating water, and the finished quality of the laundry is prevented from being deteriorated due to the adhesion of the mold.

In the washing machine according to the present invention, the rotating drum is a bottomed cylindrical body that expands in a taper shape toward the opening on one side, and has a water passage hole that penetrates a peripheral wall in the vicinity of the opening. The washing tub includes a water storage tank that stores outflow water from the water passage hole and communicates with the circulation water channel and the drainage channel in a lower portion near the opening provided on the same side as the opening of the rotating drum, respectively. It is characterized by.

In this invention, the diameter of the opening is increased toward the opening side, and a rotating drum having a water passage hole only in the vicinity of the opening is used, and the outflow of washing water from the rotating drum is in the vicinity of the opening provided with the water passage hole, That is, it occurs on the side away from the bottom plate and ensures separation from the water collected in the water collecting section near the bottom plate. The outflow water from the water outlet is stored in a water storage tank provided at the corresponding position of the washing tub, and is circulated through a circulation channel during the washing or rinsing operation. After the washing or rinsing operation is completed, the drainage channel is opened. After that, it is discharged outside the machine. The water in the rotating drum gathers on the opening side expanded by the action of centrifugal force accompanying the rotation of the rotating drum, and flows out from the water passage hole formed in the vicinity of the opening.

In addition, the washing machine according to the present invention includes water supply means connected to the water tank and supplying antibacterial water having antibacterial action to the inside of the water tank.

In the present invention, antibacterial water having antibacterial action is supplied to the inside of a water storage tank for storing washing water or rinsing water, and molds are prevented from being generated inside the water storage tank. The antibacterial water is supplied, for example, as rinsing water used in the final rinsing process. The rinsing water containing the antibacterial water is kept in the water storage tank even after the operation is completed, so that molds can be prevented from being generated in the water storage tank until the next operation start. Moreover, the stored water in the water tank can be reused as washing water for the next operation, and the water saving effect can be enhanced.

The antibacterial water is desirably ionic water containing silver ions (Ag + ions) having a strong antibacterial action. By supplying ionic water into the water storage tank, generation of molds in the water storage tank can be reliably prevented.

In the washing machine according to the present invention, the water storage tank is provided at a position away from the bottom plate of the laundry tank, and water is continuously stored during the dehydration operation.

In the present invention, the water stored in the water storage tank functions as a weight during the dehydration operation, and the vibration of the washing tank due to the high-speed rotation of the rotating drum is suppressed to enable a quiet operation.

It is desirable to apply antibacterial treatment to the inner surface of the water tank for storing the circulating water and the circulating water channel for feeding the water in the water tank into the rotating drum. Thereby, generation | occurrence | production of mold | fungi in a water storage tank and a circulating water channel can also be suppressed. The antibacterial treatment of the water storage tank and the circulation channel is realized by coating the inner surface with an antibacterial resin, for example. Moreover, it implement | achieves by making a water storage tank and a circulating water channel into antibacterial materials, such as antibacterial resin and stainless steel.

In the washing machine according to the present invention, a water collecting portion is provided in the vicinity of the bottom plate inside the washing tub, and water flowing down in contact with the bottom plate is collected in the water collecting portion and separated from other water (circulated water), Since it is discharged to the drainage channel that communicates via the communication path, molds that are likely to occur on the bottom plate of the washing tub are mixed into the circulating water and introduced into the rotating drum, and may adhere to the laundry in the rotating drum. The present invention has an excellent effect such as avoiding and effectively preventing a reduction in the quality of the finished laundry due to the adhesion of molds.

The water supply valve 61 is an electromagnetic valve that is opened in response to an operation signal given from the outside. When the water supply valve 61 is opened, water supplied from a water supply source connected to the water supply port 62 is supplied to the water supply pipe 60. Then, the water is supplied to the inside of the water tank 5.

In the middle of the water supply pipe 60, an antibacterial water generator 6 is interposed. The antibacterial water generator 6 has, for example, a silver counter electrode disposed in a water reservoir provided in the middle of the water supply pipe 60 and a voltage applied between them, thereby silver ions ( It is an ion water generator configured to elute (Ag + ions).

The water supply to the water storage tank 5 is sent to the circulating water pipe 53 through the water guide pipe 50 and the filter unit 51 by the driving of the circulation pump 52, and is also supplied and stored in the rotary drum 3 through the ejection head 54. A washing operation and a rinsing operation, which will be described later, are performed in a state where the stored water W having a predetermined depth is accumulated in the rotary drum 3 and the water storage tank 5, respectively, as shown in FIG. The stored water W in the rotating drum 3 flows out into the washing tub 2 through the water passages 33, 33..., Is collected in the water tub 5 located below the outflow position, and is recirculated through the circulating water pipe 53. The

In the washing tub 2, partition ribs 70 are provided on the inner surface of the rear lower portion of the continuous portion of the water storage tub 5 so as to project inward within a range not contacting the rotating drum 3. The partition rib 70 forms a water collecting portion 7 separated from a front half portion where the water storage tub 5 is continuously provided in the latter half portion (half portion on the bottom plate side) of the washing tub 2. The water collecting part 7 is connected to the drain pipe 56 through a communication pipe 71 connected to the lowermost part, and the water flowing down along the rear half of the inner peripheral wall of the washing tub 2 and the bottom plate of the washing tub 2 The collected water is provided to be discharged to the drain pipe 56 through the communication pipe 71.

As shown in FIG. 1, an operation panel 15 including operation keys for various operations and a display unit for various displays is provided at the upper part of the front surface of the outer box 1. The operation panel 15 is connected to an operation control unit 16 (see FIG. 2) provided inside the outer box 1 and located inside of the operation panel 15, and washing operation, rinsing operation, and dehydration operation described below are performed. The operation of the operation control unit 16 according to the operation of the operation panel 15 is executed as an independent operation or a series of operations related to each other.

In the washing operation, the front lid 10 is opened, the laundry is put into the rotary drum 3, the front lid 10 is closed, and then the washing water is supplied into the water storage tank 5 and the rotary drum 3 as described above. Then, the drum motor 4 is driven to repeatedly rotate the rotating drum 3 at a low speed. The washing water is water in which an appropriate amount of detergent is dissolved, and may be generated by putting the detergent into the rotating drum 3 together with the laundry, and dissolving the detergent by supplying water into the rotating drum 3. As known in the art, a detergent case is arranged in the middle of the water supply pipe 60, and water flowing through the water supply pipe 60 is passed through the detergent case, so that the detergent supplied in advance in the detergent case is dissolved in the water tank 5. It is also possible to supply washing water directly.

The washing water supplied in this way is stored as the stored water W in the water storage tank 5 and the rotating drum 3 and wets the laundry in the rotating drum 3. When the rotating drum 3 rotates in this state, the laundry is repeatedly lifted and dropped by the action of the baffle 31 protruding from the inner peripheral surface of the rotating drum 3, and is washed against the inner peripheral surface of the rotating drum 3. Is done.

During such a washing operation, the circulation pump 52 is driven continuously or intermittently, sucks and pressurizes the washing water in the water storage tank 5, and ejects it from the ejection head 54 through the circulation water pipe 53. The washing water sprayed in this way is poured evenly onto the laundry in the rotating drum 3 and acts to wet the laundry well and enhance the washing effect. Excess washing water in the rotating drum 3 leaks out from the water inlets 33, 33... Provided in the front portion of the rotating drum 3, and is collected in the water storage tank 5 located below these, so that the circulation pump 52 Recirculated by movement.

The washing water circulated as described above passes through the filter unit 51, and the lint filter provided in the filter unit 51 captures and removes the fiber waste contained in the washing water. Thereby, adhesion of the fiber waste to the laundry can be prevented, and the finished quality can be improved. The lint filter is removed from the filter unit 51, removed from the captured matter, and reused.

The rinsing operation is performed by draining the washing water in the washing tub 2 after supplying the washing operation, supplying the rinsing water not containing the detergent, and rotating the rotary drum 3 at a low speed. The laundry is immersed in the rinsing water accumulated in the rotating drum 3, and is rinsed by repeatedly lifting and dropping in the rotating drum 3 in the same manner as in the washing operation.

The washing water is drained outside the machine through the drain pipe 56 by opening the drain valve 55. Also in this drainage, the lint filter of the filter unit 51 acts to capture and remove foreign matters such as fiber waste contained in the wastewater and prevent the foreign matter from being discharged to the public sewer through the drain pipe 56. . The above rinsing operation is performed a plurality of times by replacing the rinsing water. The circulation pump 52 is driven so as to circulate the rinsing water and enhance the rinsing effect of the laundry even during such a rinsing operation.

The dehydrating operation is performed by rotating the rotary drum 3 at a high speed. The laundry in the rotating drum 3 rotates while sticking to the peripheral surface of the rotating drum 3, and the water contained in the laundry is separated by the action of centrifugal force, and is passed through the inner peripheral surface. It collects in water grooves 32, 32 .... As described above, the rotary drum 3 has a large diameter front portion where the opening 30 is provided, and the water accumulated in the water flow grooves 32, 32... Along the water flow grooves 32, 32. It flows to the enlarged diameter side (front), and is discharged to the outside of the rotating drum 3 through a plurality of water passage holes 33, 33,. This dehydration operation is performed to once dehydrate the water contained in the laundry and enhance the rinsing effect even before a plurality of rinsing operations.

In such a dewatering operation, dewatering (washing water or rinsing water) from the laundry jumps out of the water holes 33, 33... Formed in the entire peripheral surface of the rotating drum 3, and most of the Reflected against the peripheral wall of the washing tub 2 surrounding the outside, it flows downward and is collected in the water storage tub 5. As described above, the water passage holes 33, 33... Are provided only on the front side of the rotating drum 3 (near the opening 30), and the water storage tank 5 is connected to the lower front side of the washing tub 2. Recovery of dehydration into the water storage tank 5 is performed satisfactorily.

The water collected in the water storage tank 5 can be drained outside the machine through the drain pipe 56 by opening the drain valve 55. This drainage is desirably performed after completion of dehydration in each rinsing operation. By this. The high-speed rotation of the rotating drum 3 at the time of dehydration is performed in a state where the stored water W exists in the water storage tank 5, and this stored water W functions as a weight, and the vibration of the washing tub 2 accompanying the high-speed rotation of the rotating drum 3 is caused. Since it acts to suppress, quiet operation can be realized. The vibration suppressing effect is improved by providing the water storage tank 5 as close as possible to the front side (side away from the bottom plate) of the washing tank 2 having a large amplitude as shown in FIG.

The antibacterial water generator 6 provided in the middle of the water supply pipe 60 is operated, for example, in the final rinsing operation. As a result, ionic water containing silver ions is supplied into the water storage tank 5 and the rotating drum 3, and the final rinsing operation is executed using the ionic water as rinsing water. The silver ions contained in the ionic water coat the laundry in the rotating drum 3 and have an antibacterial and deodorizing effect on the laundry, improving the finished quality of the laundry.

Further, the silver ions contained in the ionized water are in a rinsing operation such as the water conduit 50, the filter unit 51, the circulating water channel including the circulating pump 52 and the circulating water tube 53, the water storage tank 5, the rotating drum 3 and the washing tub 2. Since each part to be contacted is coated, it is possible to prevent generation of molds such as black mold in each part in a wet environment during standby after the end of operation, and keep it clean. In addition, generation | occurrence | production of mold | fungi can be prevented more reliably by performing an antibacterial process further on the inner surface of the water storage tank 5 and the circulating water channel. The antibacterial treatment is realized, for example, by making each part made of an antibacterial material such as an antibacterial resin or stainless steel.

The ionic water supplied in this way is not drained after the final rinsing operation and the subsequent dehydration operation, but remains in the storage tank 5 and reused as washing water in the next washing operation. This can enhance the water-saving effect. Note that the ionic water supply may be performed not only during the final rinsing operation but also during the washing operation and during multiple rinsing operations.

On the other hand, the water passage holes 33, 33... For discharging water during dehydration are provided in the entire circumference of the rotary drum 3, and a part of the water that jumps out of the water passage holes 33, 33. 2 and flows backward along the peripheral wall, and flows downward along the bottom plate of the washing tub 2 as indicated by white arrows in FIG. Since the bottom plate of the washing tub 2 is in close proximity to the bottom plate of the rotating drum 3 and adhering water containing dirt and detergent components tends to remain, there is a high possibility that mold such as black mold will be generated. As described above, the water flowing down comes into contact with the molds generated on the bottom plate and flows down including them.

In the washing machine of the present invention, as described above, the water collecting portion 7 partitioned from the front half portion by the partition rib 70 is provided at the lower rear portion of the washing tub 2, and the water collecting portion 7 has a communication pipe 71. To the drain pipe 56. Therefore, the water that flows down along the bottom plate of the washing tub 2 and has a high possibility of containing molds is not returned to the water storage tank 5 but is collected in the water collecting section 7 and is connected to the communication pipe 71 and the drain pipe 56. Then it is discharged out of the machine. Thereby, it is possible to prevent water containing molds from being supplied into the rotating drum 3 through the circulation channel and adhere to the laundry of the rotating drum 3, and by the synergistic effect with the antibacterial effect due to the ionic water described above. The finish of the laundry can be improved.

FIG. 3 is a longitudinal sectional view schematically showing an internal configuration of a washing machine according to another embodiment of the present invention. The washing machine shown in the figure is a general-purpose rotating drum having a bottomed cylindrical shape with a substantially equal diameter over the entire length, and a large number of water passage holes 33, 33.. 3 is provided. The water supply pipe 60 is connected to the upper peripheral wall of the washing tub 2, and the washing water or the rinsing water supplied through the water supply pipe 60 is directly introduced into the washing tub 2, so It penetrates also in the rotating drum 3 through 33, 33 ..., and is stored as the stored water W as shown in the figure, so that the laundry in the rotating drum 3 is wetted. Note that the antibacterial water generator 6 and the detergent case described above may be provided in the middle of the water supply pipe 60.

The washing tub 2 is connected to the filter unit 51 via a water conduit 50 connected to the lowermost part, and a circulating water pipe 53 is provided on one side of the filter unit 51 as in the above-described embodiment. A drain pipe 56 is connected to each of them. The stored water W in the washing tub 2 and the rotating drum 3 is circulated in the rotating drum 3 through the circulating water pipe 53 and the jet head 54 by driving of the circulation pump 52 during the washing or rinsing operation. After the operation is completed, the drain valve 55 is opened, and then discharged to the outside through the drain pipe 56.

In the washing machine shown in FIG. 3, the bottom plate of the washing tub 2 is provided with a water collecting portion 7 by recessing the lower position of the fixed portion of the drum motor 4 toward the rear. It communicates with the middle part of the drain pipe 56 via a communication pipe 71 connected to the lower part. Water stop ribs 72 are provided at the front lower part of the water collecting part 7 so as to project obliquely upward. The water stop rib 72 has a tip that is located above the water surface of the stored water W in the washing tub 2 and the rotating drum 3, and prevents the stored water W from flowing into the water collecting portion 7. I am doing.

Also in this washing machine, a part of the washing water or the rinsing water that jumps out from the inside of the rotating drum 3 through the water passage holes 33, 33... Flows along the bottom plate of the washing tub 2. Since it is collected in the water section 7 and discharged to the outside of the machine through the communication pipe 71 and the drain pipe 56, molds such as black mold contained in the flowing water are mixed in the stored water W, and these molds rotate. The possibility of adhering to the laundry in the drum 3 can be alleviated, and the finished quality of the laundry can be improved.

The other configuration of the washing machine shown in FIG. 3 is the same as that of the washing machine shown in FIG. 2, and the same reference numerals as those in FIG.

In the embodiment described above, the oblique drum type washing machine in which the rotating drum 3 and the washing tub 2 are supported in a posture inclined with respect to the horizontal plane has been described. Needless to say, the present invention is also applicable to a horizontal drum type washing machine in which the drum 3 is supported substantially horizontally.
