Abstract

Claims (10)
- 内側ライナ(23)及び外側ライナ(22)を含む燃焼室(21)と、
前記内側ライナ(23)と前記外側ライナ(22)の少なくとも一方に連結されて、前方端部及び後方端部を有し、且つ、内部を貫通する少なくとも一つの開口部(55)を含むドームプレート(25)と、
セラミック基複合材料から成り、前記ドームプレート(25)の前記後方端部に連結される、少なくとも一つの熱シールド(26)と、
前記少なくとも一つの熱シールド(26)に機械的方式で締結されるねじ切り部材(31,53,73)と、
前記ドームプレート(25)の前記前方端部に配置されて、前記ドームプレート(25)内の前記少なくとも一つの開口部(55)を通って前記ねじ切り部材(31,53,73)に螺合されることで、前記少なくとも一つの熱シールドを前記ドームプレートに確実に連結するリテーナ(33,57,78)とを含む、ガスタービンエンジン(10)の燃焼器(20)。 - 前記少なくとも一つの熱シールド(26)は、その前方端部から延びる頸部(71)を有し、前記熱シールド(26)の頸部(71)は、前記ドームプレート(25)の開口部(55)内に収容され、前記熱シールド(26)の頸部(71)は、当該頸部(71)から径方向外側に向かって延びる環状フランジ(72)を有する、請求項1に記載の燃焼器(20)。
- 前記ねじ切り部材(31,53,73)は、少なくとも一つのボルト(31)として設けられる、請求項1に記載の燃焼器(20)。
- 前記少なくとも一つのボルト(31)は頭部を有し、前記熱シールド(26)は、前面又は下面(26a)に、凹部、スロット(26b)、又は溝を有するように作製され、前記ボルト(31)の頭部は、前記熱シールド(26)の前記凹部、スロット(26b)、もしくは溝内に配置又は収容されるように構成され、前記少なくとも一つのボルト(31)は、前記ドームの開口部(55)から前記ドームプレート(25)の前記前方端部まで貫通し、前記リテーナ(33,57,78)はナット(33)として設けられ、前記ナット(33)は、前記ドームプレート(25)の前方端部において前記少なくとも一つのボルト(31)と係合する、請求項3に記載の燃焼器(20)。
- 前方端部及び後方端部を含み、且つ、内部を貫通する少なくとも一つの円形開口部(55)を有するドームプレート(25)を含む、ガスタービンエンジンの燃焼器(20)を組み立てる方法であって、
(a)セラミック基複合材料で作製されて、頸部(71)と、前記頸部(71)から径方向外側に向かって延びる環状フランジ(72)とを含む熱シールド(26)を配設し、
(b)前記熱シールド(26)の頸部(71)の上に、外径にねじ(74)を有する環状フランジリング(73)を配置して、熱シールドサブアセンブリを配設し、
(c)前記ドームプレートの後方端部から、前記ドームプレート(25)の前記少なくとも一つの円形開口部(55)内に前記熱シールドサブアセンブリを嵌入して、前記頸部(71)の少なくとも一部を、前記開口部(55)から前記前方端部まで通し、
(d)内径にねじ(79)を有する環状リテーナナット(78)を前記前方端部から前記開口部(55)に通して前記フランジリング(73)と螺合させて、前記熱シールドサブアセンブリと前記ドームプレートの確実な連結を促進することを含む、方法。 - 前記環状フランジ(72)は、前記頸部(71)の前方端部近くに配置され、前記フランジリング(73)は、前記環状フランジ(72)の外側に設けられる、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 下流側から前記ドームプレートの開口部(55)内に前記熱シールドサブアセンブリを嵌入した後で、前記フランジリング(73)に前記環状リテーナナット(78)を螺合する前に、前記ドームプレート(25)の前方端部から前記フランジリング(73)の上に、環状外側スペーサ(77)を取り付けることを更に含む、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 内側ライナ(23)及び外側ライナ(22)を含む燃焼室(21)と、
前記内側ライナ(23)と前記外側ライナ(22)の少なくとも一つに連結され、前方端部及び後方端部を含み、且つ、内部を貫通して延びる少なくとも一つの円形開口部(55)を有するドームプレート(25)と、
前記ドームプレートの後方端部に連結される少なくとも一つの熱シールドサブアセンブリとを含む、ガスタービンエンジン(10)の燃焼器(20)であって、
前記熱シールドサブアセンブリは、
(i)セラミック基複合材料で作製され、頸部(71)、及び、前記頸部(71)から径方向外側に向かって延びる環状フランジ(72)を有する熱シールド(26)と、
(ii)外径にねじ(74)を有し、前記熱シールド(26)の頸部(71)上に配置される環状フランジリング(73)とを含み、
前記熱シールドサブアセンブリは、前記ドームプレートの後方端部から、前記ドームプレート(25)の前記少なくとも一つの開口部(55)内に貫入されて、前記頸部(71)の少なくとも一部が、前記開口部(55)から前記前方端部に貫通し、
更に、内径にねじ(79)を有し、前記フランジリング(73)と螺合して、前記ドームプレートに前記熱シールドサブアセンブリを確実に連結する環状リテーナ(78)を含む、燃焼器(20)。 - ガスタービンエンジン(10)の燃焼器(20)を組み立てる方法であって、
ドームプレート(25)から金属合金製熱シールドを取り外し、
前記燃焼器(20)から前記金属合金製熱シールドを取り除き、
セラミック基複合材料製熱シールド(26)を配設し、
前記ドームプレート(25)に前記セラミック基複合材料製熱シールド(26)を機械的方式で締結することを含む、方法。 - 前記セラミック基複合材料製熱シールド(26)は、一体のねじ部を持たないことに加え、又はこれに代えて、ろう付けも溶接もされない、請求項9に記載の方法。
