天井面に開設される天井開口に嵌挿固定される方形状の外枠と、上記外枠の対向する二辺の端部側との間に介設される回動部材を介して外枠に対して回動可能に軸支され、内部に蓋材が設けられる方形状の内枠とを具備する天井点検口であって、
上記外枠及び内枠は、それぞれ垂直片と、この垂直片の下端部に水平に延設されるフランジ部とを設け、
上記外枠及び内枠のうちの一方の枠の上記回動部材側の上記フランジ部に、上記内枠が回動する際の干渉を回避するための切欠きを設け、
上記内枠の上記回動部材側の二辺と回動自由端側の一辺とからなる開閉側三辺の上記フランジ部を上記外枠の開閉側三辺のフランジ部の下面に重なり合う範囲に延設し、上記内枠の残りの基端側一辺におけるフランジ部を上記開閉側三辺のフランジ部と上下逆の状態で上記外枠の上面に重なり合う範囲に延設し、
上記外枠及び内枠のフランジ部の重なり合う部分における一方のフランジ部の対向面に気密材を装着し、
上記フランジ部における上記切欠き部には、上記内枠が閉鎖された状態で上記外枠と内枠の隙間を塞ぐ隙間塞ぎ材を配設してなる、
