Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical gauze with X-ray contrast medium thread woven therein, configured so that the X-ray contrast medium thread is made difficult to fall by a simple structure while securing soft touch.SOLUTION: The medical gauze 1 includes a plain-woven portion 5 formed by plain-weaving warp 2 and weft 3 at fixed intervals, and a warp dense-woven portion 6 provided at a lug portion 8 formed by folding the weft 3 at an end of the plain-woven portion 5. In the warp dense-woven portion 6, a plurality of warps 2 are densely woven so that adjacent ones contact with each other. The X-ray contrast medium thread 4 is woven so that one side thereof contacts with the dense-woven portion 6, and the warp 2 of the plain-woven portion 5 on the other side of the X-ray contrast medium thread 4 is not densely woven. Accordingly, the X-ray contrast medium thread 4 can be made difficult to fall by the relatively small dense-woven portion, and the soft touch is never impaired since the X-ray contrast medium thread 4 is not arranged at the end of the gauge.

Description

The present invention relates to a medical gauze in which an X-ray contrast yarn is woven.

Medical gauze absorbs blood, body fluids, etc. when used in a patient's body during surgery, etc., making it difficult to distinguish it from organs and tissues. Is called. In general, since gauze fibers are not shown in an X-ray image, it is difficult to confirm the presence or absence of gauze left in the body after surgery.

Accordingly, various medical gauze has been proposed in which X-ray contrast yarns are woven into gauze and the remaining gauze can be easily confirmed by post-operative X-ray photography.
However, in a medical gauze in which one of a plurality of warps constituting a gauze is simply replaced with an X-ray contrast yarn, the X-ray contrast yarn generally has a larger diameter than the gauze component yarn, and the surface is smooth. Because it is formed, if it is picked with tweezers, it may fall off from the gauze.

Therefore, for example, Patent Document 1 and Patent Document 2 describe medical gauze in which an X-ray contrast yarn is prevented from coming off. Specifically, in the medical gauze described in Patent Document 1, among the constituent yarns in a direction substantially parallel to the X-ray contrast yarn, a plurality of warps adjacent to both sides of the X-ray contrast yarn are in contact with each other, And it is closely woven so as to come into contact with the X-ray contrast yarn. Further, the gauze described in Patent Document 2 densely weaves the warp group of the ear near the folded end of the weft, and the X-ray contrast yarn is mixed as the warp in the close-weaved warp group of the ear. As described above, in Patent Documents 1 and 2, the X-ray contrast yarn is prevented from coming off by increasing the frictional force by sandwiching the X-ray contrast yarn from both sides with tightly folded warps. Yes.

As described above, medical gauze woven with X-ray contrast yarns is required not to easily fall out, and can be manufactured inexpensively with a simple structure without impairing flexibility and good touch. Is desired.

The present invention has been made in view of such points, and an object of the present invention is to provide a medical gauze having a simple structure, in which an X-ray contrast yarn is not easily removed from the gauze, has a good feel, and is inexpensive.

Hereinafter, embodiments for carrying out the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.

<First Embodiment>
The medical gauze 1 according to the first embodiment of the present invention is used for, for example, a medical practice such as surgery, and can be used to absorb body fluid, blood, and the like.
As shown in FIGS. 1 to 4, the medical gauze 1 includes a plurality of warps 2, a plurality of wefts 3, and an X-ray contrast yarn 4. Specifically, the medical gauze 1 is composed of a plurality of warp yarns 2 and a plurality of weft yarns 3 substantially orthogonal to the plurality of warp yarns 2 as plain yarns so that they intersect alternately at substantially equal intervals. is there.

In the present embodiment, the warp yarn 2 and the weft yarn 3 employ cotton yarn having a thickness of 40th as an example, but yarn of any thickness may be used. Further, the warp yarn 2 and the weft yarn 3 are not limited to cotton yarn, and may be any material such as cellulose fiber, synthetic fiber, or a mixture thereof.

As a material of the X-ray contrast yarn 4, for example, a synthetic resin containing an X-ray non-transparent substance such as barium sulfate can be employed. As the synthetic resin, for example, a silicon-based resin, a polyvinyl chloride resin, a polypropylene resin, a polyester resin, a polyethylene resin, or the like can be used.
Further, the outer diameter of the X-ray contrast yarn 4 is larger than that of the warp yarn 2 and the weft yarn 3. In this embodiment, as an example, the one having a diameter of about 0.476 mm or 0.76 mm is used. Can be determined as appropriate.

The medical gauze 1 is provided with a plain weave portion 5 that is plain woven so that the warp yarn 2 and the weft yarn 3 are substantially equidistant at the center, and the weft yarns 3 at the ends on both sides (right and left sides in FIG. 1) of the plain weave portion 5. The warp densely woven portion 6 in which the warp yarn 2 is woven more densely than the plain weave portion 5 is provided in the ear portions 8 and 8 that are folded back. Further, a weft densely woven portion 7 in which the weft 3 is woven more densely than the plain weave portion 5 is provided on both ends of the warp 2 (upper and lower sides in FIG. 1).

The plain weave portion 5 is plain woven so that the warp yarn 2 and the weft yarn 3 intersect with each other alternately at a substantially constant interval. The interval between the warp 2 and the weft 3 is arbitrary and can be determined as appropriate. In this embodiment, the warp 2 and the weft 3 are set so that 30 warps 2 and wefts 3 are arranged per inch (2.54 cm). (Number of inches (longitudinal × longitude) = 30 × 30).

On the other hand, the warp densely woven portion 6 is formed in a predetermined width by closely weaving a plurality of warp yarns 2 so that adjacent warp yarns 2 are in contact with each other. In addition, the warp densely woven portion 6 is composed of eight warps 2 in the illustrated example, and these warps 2 intersect with the wefts 3 alternately up and down every two (see FIG. 2). The number of warps 2 and the form of intersection with the wefts 3 may be changed as appropriate.

Two X-ray contrast yarns 4 are woven. Specifically, one X-ray contrast yarn 4 is arranged between a central plain weave portion 5 and warp densely weave portions 6 on both sides thereof. The X-ray contrast yarn 4 is arranged so that one side is in contact with the warp densely woven portion 6, and the warp 2 of the plain weave portion 5 adjacent to the other side of the X-ray contrast yarn 4 is not densely woven.

In the weft densely woven portion 7, a plurality of wefts 3 are densely woven at a narrower interval than the plain weave portion 5, and the weft 3 is not woven on the outer side (an intercostal space 9). 2 is extended by an appropriate length, which makes it difficult to unravel the weft 3.

For example, as shown in FIG. 5, the medical gauze 1 having the above-described configuration is provided for a plurality of warp yarns 2 arranged at predetermined intervals so as to form a central plain weave portion 5 and warp densely weave portions 6 on both sides thereof. One weft 3 is woven at predetermined intervals while turning back at the ears 8 at both ends of the plurality of warps 2, and sequentially, the intercostal space 9, the weft densely woven portion 7, the plain weave portion 5, the weft densely woven portion 7, It can be manufactured by forming the gaps 9,... Continuously and cutting them at the gaps 9.

Next, the function and effect of the medical gauze 1 configured as described above will be described.
When used in the body of a patient in surgery or the like, the remaining gauze 1 can be easily confirmed by performing X-ray imaging after the operation, and the X-ray contrast thread 4 displayed on the X-ray image. . At this time, since two X-ray contrast yarns 4 are woven into the medical gauze 1, the visibility on the X-ray image is excellent.

Further, when the X-ray contrast yarn 4 is pulled in the longitudinal direction, the frictional force with the weft 3 intersecting this and the frictional force with the adjacent warp 2 become resistance. At this time, the X-ray contrast yarn 4 is woven so as to be in contact with and adjacent to the warp densely woven portion 6 in which a plurality of warps 2 are closely woven so that adjacent warps 2 are in contact with each other. When the weft 3 intersecting with the X-ray contrast yarn 4 is dragged, it is pulled toward the ear portion 8 by the dragged and inclined weft 3 and is pressed against the warp densely woven portion 6. The end of the warp densely woven portion 6 is reliably supported by the ear portion 8 where the weft 3 is folded back, and the movement of the X-ray contrast yarn 4 toward the ear portion 8 is suppressed by the closely woven warp 2. The X-ray contrast yarn 4 is strongly pressed against the warp yarn 2 and the frictional force increases, so that the X-ray contrast yarn 4 is difficult to come off.

In general, the X-ray contrast yarn 4 is thicker and harder than the gauze constituent yarn, so that if it is disposed at the end of the gauze, the gauze feel will be impaired, but the medical gauze of the present embodiment. In 1, the X-ray contrast yarn 4 is disposed adjacent to the inside of the warp densely woven portion 6, so that the touch is good. In the medical gauze 1, the X-ray contrast yarn 4 is adjacent to the warp densely woven portion 6 only on one side and adjacent to the plain weave portion 5 on the other side. What is necessary is just to form, and compared with the thing of the above-mentioned patent documents 1 and 2, a densely woven part can be decreased and it is economical.

In addition, when the number of the warp yarns 2 of the warp densely woven portion 6 is large and the X-ray contrast yarn 4 is separated from the ear portion 8, the pull-out strength of the X-ray contrast yarn 4 tends to be low (see test results described later). . Further, when the number of the warp yarns 2 of the warp densely woven portion 6 is small and the X-ray contrast yarn 4 is close to the ear portion 8, the touch tends to deteriorate. Therefore, the number of the warp yarns 2 of the warp densely woven portion 6 is determined in consideration of the pullout strength and the feel.

<Second Embodiment>
Next, a second embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. Note that the same reference numerals are used for the same parts with respect to the first embodiment, and only different parts will be described in detail.

In the medical gauze 1 according to the present embodiment, an X-ray contrast yarn 4A having a large diameter by twisting a plurality of (two in the drawing) X-ray contrast yarns is used as the X-ray contrast yarn.

As shown in FIG. 6, the X-ray contrast yarn 4 </ b> A is a twisted yarn, so that an uneven portion 11 is formed on the outer peripheral surface, and a plurality of wefts 3 are engaged with the uneven portion 11. As a result, the X-ray contrast yarn 4A is more difficult to come off due to the engagement force with the weft 3 in addition to the frictional force between the warp 2 and the weft 3. Here, by setting the interval between the concave and convex portions 11 to be substantially equal to the interval between the wefts 3 or an integral multiple thereof, the engagement with the wefts 3 is facilitated, and the difficulty of pulling out the X-ray contrast yarns 4A (drawing strength) is reduced. Can be effectively increased. Further, since the X-ray contrast yarn 4A has a large diameter, visibility on the X-ray image can be improved.

In the second embodiment, when the two X-ray contrast threads 4a and 4b are twisted to form the X-ray contrast thread 4A, it is difficult to maintain the twisted shape due to the elasticity of the X-ray contrast threads 4a and 4b. The twisted shape can be easily maintained by bringing the three warps 2 to which one warp 2 is added together. In this case, the warp 2 is sufficiently thin as compared with the X-ray contrast yarns 4a and 4b, and therefore hardly affects the twisted shape.

In the first and second embodiments, the warp densely woven portion 6 and the X-ray contrast yarns 4 and 4A are provided on both sides of the plain weave portion 5, but may be provided only on one side. It is sufficient that at least one 4, 4A is provided. Further, the weft densely woven portion 7 may be omitted.

Moreover, in the said 1st and 2nd embodiment, although the medical gauze 1 has shown what was plain-woven as an example, it is not restricted to this form, For example, various arbitrary weaves, such as a twill weave and a satin weave, are shown. A form may be adopted. Moreover, although the said medical gauze 1 is formed in the rectangular shape, arbitrary shapes may be sufficient.
