Description

The present invention relates to a drilling screw, and more particularly to a drilling screw for fixing a gypsum board to lightweight channel steel or the like.

Conventionally, this type of drilling screw has been proposed by the present applicant as Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 10-159821.

The above conventional example will be described with reference to FIGS. In the figure, a drilling screw 1 has a trumpet head 3 having a cross groove 2 in the head, a large-diameter parallel screw portion 4 is formed in the lower portion of the trumpet head 3, and the large-diameter parallel screw portion. An intermediate taper screw portion 5 is extended from the tip of 4, a small diameter parallel screw portion 6 is provided with a reduced diameter from the tip of the intermediate taper screw portion 5, and a tip taper screw portion 7 is formed from the tip of the small diameter parallel screw portion 6. ing.

As an example, the dimensions of the conventional drilling screw are 26.5 mm in total length, the outer diameter of the trumpet head 3 is 8 mm, the large-diameter parallel screw portion 4 is 3.5 mm in outer diameter, and the small-diameter parallel screw portion 6 is 2.5 mm in outer diameter. is there. The double thread thread 8 that continues from the large-diameter parallel screw portion 4 to the tip of the tip taper screw portion 7 has a taper angle of 15 degrees in the intermediate taper screw portion 5 and a taper angle of 25 degrees in the tip taper screw portion 7. . The valley diameter of the large-diameter parallel thread portion 4 is 2.4 mm, and the valley diameter of the small-diameter parallel thread portion 6 is 1.7 mm.

A lightweight channel steel (plate thickness 0.5 mm or 0.8 mm) gypsum board (thickness 9.5 mm or 12.5 mm) is screwed by a driven air driven screw tightening machine using the drilling screw 1 having the above-described configuration. In this case, as shown in FIG. 4, the drilling screw 1 is driven into the gypsum board 9 by a driver (not shown) of a driving type air driven screw fastening machine, and the tip tapered screw portion 7 opens a hole in the lightweight channel steel 10. Usually, as shown in the figure, the small-diameter screw portion 6 is stopped in a state where it penetrates the lightweight channel steel. Next, when the screwdriver screwed in the cross groove of the trumpet head 3 and rotated the drilling screw 1, it penetrated into the drilling screw 1 by the thread 8 of the drilling screw 1 fitted to the lightweight channel steel 10. Directional propulsive force is generated, and tapping is performed while expanding the through hole of the lightweight channel steel 10. As shown in FIG. 5, the large-diameter parallel thread portion 4 penetrates the lightweight channel steel 10, the trumpet head 3 enters the gypsum board 9, and the upper surface of the trumpet head 3 is flush with the upper surface of the gypsum board 9. The rotation is stopped and the gypsum board 9 is screwed to the lightweight channel steel 10. Thus, the coated paper 11 of the gypsum board 9 is not broken and the screws are not lifted, and the gypsum board can be fastened to the light-weight channel steel quickly and reliably, which can contribute to the prevention of poor fastening and the improvement of the efficiency. .

In the conventional example, when the gypsum board is screwed to the lightweight channel steel with a drilling screw, the lightweight channel steel can be quickly and surely screwed without being destroyed at the time of driving. When manufacturing drilling screws, the troughs of the rolling dies are stepped in the same way as the screw shape, which increases the processing cost of the dies and the two-step trough diameter. There is a defect that stress is generated in the stepped portion, and the body portion of the small diameter parallel screw portion is lost, which deteriorates the yield of drilling screw production.

Therefore, a technical problem to be solved in order to remove such defects and improve the productivity of the drilling screw arises, and the present invention aims to solve the problem.

The present invention has been proposed in order to achieve the above object, wherein a parallel thread portion is formed on a long body portion of the same diameter having a trumpet head at one end, and an intermediate taper thread portion following the parallel thread portion, and A tapered taper screw portion is directly extended from the tip of the parallel screw portion without providing a small-diameter parallel screw portion following the intermediate screw portion, and the thread height of the parallel screw portion is narrowed only at the tip portion. Furthermore, the present invention provides a drilling screw characterized in that the overall length is substantially the same as that of a conventional drilling screw.

According to this configuration, since the drilling screw of the present invention has the tip taper screw portion extending directly from the tip of the large-diameter screw portion, when screwing the gypsum board to the lightweight channel steel, First, it is driven into the gypsum board by a driver of a driving type air driven screw fastening machine, and the driving operation is stopped in a state in which the tip taper screw part has a hole formed in the lightweight channel steel. At this time, the driving operation of the drilling screw is stopped in a state where the tip end portion of the parallel screw portion is located at the edge of the hole. Next, when a screwdriver is fitted into the cross groove of the trumpet head and the drilling screw is screwed, the drilling screw generates a propulsive force in the penetration direction by the thread of the drilling screw. While expanding the hole drilled in the channel steel, the parallel thread part penetrates the lightweight channel steel, the trumpet head enters the gypsum board, and the top surface of the trumpet head and the top surface of the gypsum board are flush with each other The drilling screw is stopped and the gypsum board is screwed to the lightweight channel steel. At this time, the height of the thread at the tip of the parallel thread is smaller than the height of the thread formed above, so that when the drilling screw is driven, it is opened by the tip taper thread. When the parallel thread portion penetrates the hole of the lightweight channel steel formed, the hole is gradually enlarged and the screwing operation is performed.

Further, the drilling screw of the present invention is provided with a parallel threaded portion and a tip tapered threaded portion directly from the tip of the parallel threaded portion following the trumpet head, so that the drilling screw of the present invention is manufactured unlike the conventional example. The rolling die is extremely easy to process.

In the present invention, a parallel thread portion is provided following the trumpet head, and the large-diameter parallel thread portion, intermediate taper thread portion and small-diameter parallel thread portion of the conventional example are omitted from the parallel thread portion, and the parallel thread portion is directly connected to the parallel thread portion. Since the tip taper screw is extended and the overall length is substantially the same as the conventional example, the gypsum board can be screwed to the lightweight channel steel as in the conventional example, and the effect is also the effect described in the conventional example. Exactly the same effect can be produced.

Moreover, the rolling die used for manufacturing the drilling screw of the present invention can have a valley portion formed into a valley shape of the drilling screw of the present invention. Therefore, unlike the conventional example in which the intermediate taper screw portion and the small diameter parallel screw portion are provided between the parallel screw portion and the tip taper screw, the screw portion is not formed in several steps, so that stress is stepped at the time of rolling processing. For example, it is possible to eliminate the defect that the yield is deteriorated due to the occurrence of missing in the small-diameter parallel thread portion, and the processing cost of the rolling die is extremely low compared to the conventional example, and the present invention The productivity of this drilling screw with a rotor die is greatly improved.

The present invention shows a drilling screw, (a) is a plan view, (b) is a front view. Sectional drawing which shows the state which screwed the gypsum board to the lightweight channel steel using the drilling screw of FIG. 従来のドリリングネジを示し、(a)は平面図、(b)は正面図。The conventional drilling screw is shown, (a) is a top view, (b) is a front view. Sectional drawing which shows the use condition of the drilling screw of FIG. 3, and shows an example of the state at the time of driving. Sectional drawing which shows the state which rotated the drilling screw of FIG. 3 from the driving | running state of FIG. 4, and screwed the gypsum board to the lightweight channel steel.

The present invention reduces the processing cost of a rolling die for manufacturing a drilling screw, and in order to obtain a drilling screw that can achieve the same effects as this conventional drilling screw, the same having a trumpet head at one end. A straight threaded portion is formed directly from the distal end of the parallel threaded portion without forming a parallel threaded portion on the long body portion of the diameter and without providing an intermediate tapered threaded portion following the parallel threaded portion and a small diameter parallel threaded portion following the intermediate threaded portion. A drilling screw characterized in that a taper screw portion is extended, the thread height of the parallel screw portion is formed thin at only the tip portion, and the entire length is formed substantially the same as a conventional drilling screw. Realized by providing.

Hereinafter, a preferred embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS.

FIG. 1 shows a drilling screw 20 of the present invention. As shown in the figure, the drilling screw 1 of the present invention has a long parallel screw portion 23 at the bottom of a trumpet head 22 provided with a cross groove 21, and a tip taper screw portion 24 directly from the tip of the parallel screw portion 23. Is extended.

Furthermore, the overall length of the drilling screw 20 is substantially the same as that of a conventional example of this kind of drilling screw, and the diameter of the parallel screw portion 23 is substantially the same as the diameter of the large-diameter parallel screw portion of the conventional example. The total length of the parallel screw portion 23 is formed by adding up the large-diameter parallel screw portion, the intermediate taper screw portion, and the small-diameter parallel screw portion of the conventional example. However, there may be slight differences.

Further, the thread height of the parallel thread portion 23 is substantially the same as the thread height of the large-diameter parallel screw of this type of drilling screw of the conventional example, but only the thread height of the parallel thread portion 23 and the tip portion (L in FIG. Only the portion of () is finely formed. Therefore, when the gypsum board 9 is screwed to the lightweight channel steel 10 using the drilling screw 20 of the present invention, first, the head of the drilling screw 20 is tapped by the driver of the driving type air driven screw tightener. The taper screw portion 24 is driven into the gypsum board 9, and the tip taper screw portion 24 reaches the lightweight channel steel 10 that is in contact with the lower portion. Further, by continuing the tapping, the tip taper screw portion 24 is The tapping operation is stopped in a state in which a hole is opened in the lightweight channel 10. Next, a driver of the driving type air driven screw tightener is fitted into the cross groove 21 of the trumpet head, and a thrust in the drilling screw 20 is generated by the thread of the drilling screw 20 so that the lightweight channel steel 10 is formed. When the hole is enlarged and the parallel thread portion 23 of the drilling screw 20 penetrates the lightweight channel steel 10 and the upper surface of the trumpet head 22 is flush with the upper surface of the gypsum board 9, the drilling screw 20 By stopping the screwing operation, the gypsum board 9 is screwed to the light-weight channel steel 10 by the drilling screw 20. The screwing by the drilling screw 20 of the present invention is the conventional drilling screw of this type. It can be screwed in exactly the same way as screwing by. Thus, when the tip tapered screw portion 24 pierces the lightweight channel steel 10 and then proceeds to the screwing operation of the drilling screw 20, the thread height at the tip of the parallel screw portion 23 is Since it is formed to be finer than the thread height above the tip, the drilling screw 20 is transferred to the hole of the lightweight channel steel 10 by the screwing operation of the drilling screw 20 from the tip taper screw portion 24 to the parallel screw portion 23. The operation of screwing the parallel screw portion 21 can be executed very smoothly.

Further, if the height of the thread formed at the tip of the parallel screw portion 2 is configured so as to be progressively reduced as it goes to the tip, the above-mentioned effect appears more remarkably.

The drilling screw 20 of the present invention is manufactured by a rolling die (not shown). As already described in detail, the trumpet head 22 is followed by a long barrel having an outer diameter corresponding to a conventional large-diameter parallel screw. Since the screw part is formed in the part, and the screw part that follows this is the tip taper screw part 24, the processing of the rolling die is extremely simple as described above, the processing cost is reduced, and The processability of the rolling die is also good, and the drilling screw 20 produced by the present invention has almost no missing portion as in the prior art, so that the yield of the drilling screw is high and the production efficiency is remarkably improved. It is an invention that has a remarkable effect.

The drilling screw of the present invention can be applied not only to screwing a gypsum board to lightweight channel steel but also to other screws for screwing a soft material and a hard material.
