本発明の自己封止ユニットは、液体が流通する液体流路が形成されると共に、前記液体流路を開放又は閉鎖する弁体が設けられた圧力室がその表面に形成された自己封止ユニット本体と、前記圧力室を封止し、かつ、前記圧力室に作用する負圧に基づいて前記圧力室側に変位し、この変位を前記弁体に伝達することにより前記弁体を移動させて前記液体流路を開放させるフィルムとを備えた自己封止ユニットであって、前記圧力室に臨み、前記フィルムとは固着されずに前記フィルムの前記変位を前記弁体に伝達する受圧板が設けられ、該受圧板は、その基端部が前記自己封止ユニット本体に固定されて、その一端側が揺動可能であることを特徴とする。本発明においては、受圧板とフィルムとが固着されていないことから、フィルムが圧力に応じて自由に動くことができる。これにより、フィルムに反力が作用することによる作動圧のばらつき要因を減少できる。かつ、受圧板が一端側が揺動可能ないわゆる片持ち構造とされていることから、受圧板とフィルムとが固着されていなくても受圧板が支持されて姿勢が安定する。従って、本発明の自己封止ユニットは、所望の作動圧で弁体を作動できる。
