The second buffer member 80 includes a second buffer portion 81 that absorbs an impact between the lid portion 20 of the upper case 2 and the upper surface of the electronic paper device 7, and the second buffer portion 81 from the outer periphery of the second buffer portion 81. And a second bending portion 82 extending along the inner surface of the two wall portion 22. The distal end portion of the second bent portion 82 is adapted to fit into the fitting groove 64 of the waterproof member 60. In addition, a flexible member can be used as the material of the second buffer member 80, and as an example, urethane, gel, silicon rubber, or the like can be used.

Next, a method of using the waterproof case 1 configured as described above will be described with reference to FIGS. 3, 5, 6, and 8. When storing the object to be stored in the waterproof case 1, as shown in FIG. 3, the electronic paper device 7 as the object to be stored is placed on the bottom 30 of the lower case 3. Next, as shown in FIGS. 5, 6, and 8, the upper case 2 is put on the lower case 3 to be fitted. Thereafter, the fixtures 4 provided at the four locations on the first wall portion 32 of the lower case 3 are raised and fitted into the protrusions 23 provided at the four locations on the second wall portion 22 of the upper case 2.

At this time, as shown in FIG. 6, the bottom surface of the electronic paper device 7 is held by the first buffer portion 51 of the first buffer member 50 of the lower case 3. Moreover, the front-end | tip part of the 1st bending part 52 of the 1st buffer member 50 is fitted and pressed by the fitting groove 25 formed in the lower end part of the 2nd wall part 22 of the upper case 2, and is fitted. The first waterproof seal is bent inside the groove 25.

The upper surface of the electronic paper device 7 is held by the second buffer portion 81 of the second buffer member 80 of the upper case 2. Further, the distal end portion of the second bending portion 82 of the second buffer member 80 is fitted into the fitting groove 64 of the waterproof member 60 and pressed, and is bent inside the fitting groove 64 to form the second waterproof seal. Become. At this time, since the lower end portions of the outer wall 61 and the inner wall 62 of the waterproof member 60 are pressed against the first buffer portion 51 of the first buffer member 50, it is possible to prevent water from entering from below the waterproof member 60. I can do it.

In the waterproof case 1 of the above embodiment, in order to protect the electronic paper device 7 from impact and vibration, the height of the internal space of the upper case 2 and the lower case 3 corresponding to the thickness of the electronic paper device 7, What is necessary is just to determine the thickness of the 1st buffer part 51 of the one buffer member 50, and the thickness of the 2nd buffer part 81 of the 2nd buffer member 80. Further, in order to maintain waterproofness, the length of the first flexible portion 52 of the first buffer member 50 in the vertical direction (in FIG. 6) is determined when the upper case 2 and the lower case 3 are fitted. The distal end portion of the first flexible portion 52 of the first buffer member 50 is fitted and pressed into the fitting groove 25 formed at the lower end portion of the second wall portion 22 of the upper case 2, so What is necessary is just to set it as the length bent inside.

Similarly, in order to maintain waterproofness, the length of the second flexible portion 82 of the second buffer member 80 in the vertical direction (in FIG. 6) is set so that the upper case 2 and the lower case 3 are fitted. In addition, the length of the distal end portion of the second bending portion 82 of the second buffer member 80 may be set so as to be bent by being fitted and pressed into the fitting groove 64 of the waterproof member 60.

As described above, in the waterproof case 1, as shown in FIG. 8, in a state where the electronic paper device 7 is accommodated in the waterproof case 1, the shock resistance is ensured and the waterproof property is kept double. The operation unit 71 of the electronic paper device 7 can be pressed from the unit 21. Further, since the upper case 2 is formed of a transparent constituent resin, the display screen 72 of the electronic paper device 7 can be visually recognized.

The present invention is not limited to the above embodiment, and various modifications can be made. For example, the shape of the waterproof case 1 is not limited to a rectangular shape in plan view, and may be a shape that matches the shape of the device housed inside. Moreover, a to-be-stored body is not restricted to the electronic paper apparatus 7, but can accommodate various apparatuses which require waterproofness. Furthermore, the material of the upper case 2 and the lower case 3 is not limited to a synthetic resin, and may be formed of a metal such as an aluminum alloy. When the material of the upper case 2 is made of metal, a window portion for visually recognizing the display screen 72 of the electronic paper device 7 may be formed at a position facing the display screen 72 as in the window portion 21. Further, the structure of the fixture 4 is not limited to that of the present embodiment, and various structures can be used as long as the upper case 2 and the lower case 3 can be fixed integrally. Further, if the electronic paper device 7 is not operated from above the upper case 2, the window portion 21 of the upper case 2 may be eliminated. Further, the waterproof member 60 is not limited to a synthetic resin member such as ABS, and may be made of aluminum die-cast or extruded material as long as it has rigidity.
