なお、ここでいう「スピンドル」は、モータの出力軸は勿論、出力軸と一体に結合される別体のシャフトや、出力軸と平行に軸支されて出力軸から回転伝達される別体のシャフトも含む。
請求項2に記載の発明は、請求項1の構成において、弾性体を、スクロール室の内圧により径方向に弾性変形して連通部をシールするリング体としたことを特徴とするものである。
請求項3に記載の発明は、請求項1又は2の構成において、スピンドルと弾性体との間に軸受を介在させたことを特徴とするものである。
請求項4に記載の発明は、請求項1乃至3の何れかの構成において、モータ室内に、モータを弾性保持する緩衝部材を設けて、弾性体を緩衝部材と一体に設けたことを特徴とするものである。
上記目的を達成するために、請求項5に記載の発明は、モータを収容するモータ室と、ファンを収容するスクロール室と、スクロール室に設けられる吸込口及び排出口と、を有する集塵機であって、モータ室とスクロール室とを繋ぐ連通部を形成し、連通部に弾性変形可能な弾性体を設けたことを特徴とするものである。
