従って下半身を暖める事が出来るが上半身まで足元電気コタツの暖かさが充分全身に行きわたらなかった。特に冷え込んだり、寒波等が長く居座ったりした時、上半身の肩元、首筋、胸元、背中等が冷え込み風邪引きの原因ともなった。
又、従来の電気掛敷毛布(発熱体)は全身を発熱体で暖める為、朝目覚めた時異常に喉が渇いていたり、自然な眠りに違和感を感じる満足の出来るものではなかった。
本発明は以上のような欠点を解決することを目的とするものである。

又、電気毛布は従来の電気毛布と違って中央部が電気毛布でないので下部足元電気毛布は従来の足元電気コタツ同様に高温度にする事が出来る。足元が熱く感じれば中央部(電気毛布でない部分)に足を移動する事が出来る。下部足元電気毛布で下半身が暖められ上部低温度上半身電気毛布で上半身が暖められるから全身が暖められる。このようにコタツ理論に従えば上部と下部で全身が暖められる事になる。全面電気毛布にしなくてもよいのである。従って従来の電気毛布と基本構造が異なり発想も異なる。長時間肌に触れて低温火傷をする可能性のある全面電気毛布にする必要はないのである。
低温火傷は火傷をするとはとても考えられない低い温度、例えば体温より少し高い温度でも長時間皮膚が触れている事により発生する。皮膚の表面だけが損傷する普通の火傷と症状も異なり、皮膚の深部の組織まで損傷するので、そのため症状は重く、治療も長引く事になる。電気毛布でない部分があって初めて人間に正常な有害でない暖房器具と成り得るのである。
