Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a corona in which the surface of a sheet material such as a film or sheet guided on a roll is chemically and physically modified by high-frequency and high-voltage corona discharge irradiation to improve printability and laminating properties. More particularly, the present invention relates to a novel improvement for reducing the size of the apparatus by efficiently discharging harmful gases generated during corona discharge through a duct.
As this type of corona treatment apparatus conventionally used, for example, the configuration disclosed in
That is, in FIG. 15, what is indicated by
An
The

An electrode station 21 is formed by the
In the above-described configuration, the case where the
First, as shown in FIG. 16, by operating the swivel device 10 via a control device (not shown), the electrode station 21 corona discharges with respect to the sheet 20 at a corona discharge operation position A indicated by a solid line, After the discharging process, the electrode station 21 is turned to the retracted position B indicated by the dotted line via each turning device 10, so that each
In the above case, when the
Since the conventional corona treatment apparatus is configured as described above, the following problems exist.
(1) Since the duct is only directly fixedly connected to the main body box, when the electrode station is released, as shown in FIG. 16, the duct bends greatly and interferes with other electrode stations and parts. It was a cause of failure.
(2) For example, when the inner diameter of the duct is 250 mm, the position of the duct length of about 1 m changes due to the opening operation, and is about 3 times the duct diameter (750 mm) in the horizontal direction as in the duct retraction position of FIG. In this case, a large number of electrode stations cannot be arranged. In order to arrange a large number of electrode stations, a roll having a larger diameter is required, which is an obstacle to downsizing of the apparatus.
(3) Also, as the duct moves greatly as described above, dust on the outer surface of the duct, dust, duct contact wear powder, etc. may fall on the precise and clean upper surface of the sheet, which may contaminate the product sheet. .
(4) Further, when the length of the main body box of the apparatus becomes as large as 8 m, the self-weight flaw increases, and the maximum wrinkle is 100% as shown in FIG.
(5) In addition, the gap between the electrode and the roll cannot be kept constant due to vibration during operation or a temperature change caused by corona discharge, resulting in uneven discharge.
(6) In addition, the main body box has a large cross section to reduce wrinkles.
(7) In addition, the avoidance operation of the electrode station including the electrode and cover at the time of power failure or when the air pressure is stopped is not obtained, and it is difficult to provide a safety means for preventing the sheet material from being caught.
A corona treatment device according to the present invention includes a pair of frames provided at both ends of a horizontally long beam, an earth roll rotatably provided between the frames, and a support base below the beam via a swivel device. One or a plurality of electrode stations having a horizontally long electrode, and a duct connected to a main body box of the electrode station, and the electrode is applied to the sheet wound around the earth roll In the corona treatment apparatus for discharging at least harmful gas generated by performing corona discharge through the duct, the elbow provided on the side surface of the main body box, and the swirling of the duct connected to the elbow A duct, and the duct is connected to the duct swivel joint directly or via a connecting cylinder, and The pivot axis of the pivot device and the elbow axis of the elbow coincide with each other, and the electrode is connected to the outer surface of the main body box via an electrode holder and an insulating insulator, The electrode, the electrode holder, and the insulating insulator are surrounded by a cover that covers at least four surfaces, and the pivot support shaft having an axis parallel to the longitudinal direction of the main body box is interposed near the outer surface of the main body box via a support. A plurality of arrangements are provided along the longitudinal direction, each electrode station is formed by the main body box, the electrode, the cover, and a pivotal support shaft, and the support is provided on the lower surface of the support base. The support provided on the support base is provided to be movable up and down with respect to the support base via variable positioning means, and the variable positioning means Further, the distance between each of the swivel support shafts and the earth roll is variable, and the swivel device is composed of a retractable mechanical or fluid linear actuator, and the support and the swivel support A mechanical or fluid balancer having an urging force in one direction is provided between the shaft and the self-weight unbalance rotation of each electrode station including the main body box about the swivel support shaft by the balancer. The balancer is configured to correct the moment, and the balancer sets a preset set load larger than the self-weight unbalance rotation moment, and separates each of the electrode stations from the earth roll at the time of power failure and when the air source pressure drops. A safety release device for moving to the retracted position, and a small number of the longitudinal surfaces of the cover. At least one surface is configured to be openable and closable so that the main body box can be opened and closed via a hinge.
Since the corona treatment apparatus according to the present invention is configured as described above, the following effects can be obtained.
(1) Since the large duct is not swung around, the installation area of the electrode station is small, and it is easy to downsize.
(2) Since the installation area of the duct is reduced, many electrode stations and electrodes can be arranged on the earth roll.
(3) Since the main body box can be supported at multiple points even in a large corona treatment apparatus having a sheet width of 8 m or more, as shown in FIG.
(4) Even when a large corona treatment device with a large sheet width is supported by two supports, the span of the support can be reduced and the deflection of the main body box can be reduced.
(5) Even with a corona treatment device with a wide sheet width, the main body box is small, so even if there is vibration or temperature change, there is little change in the gap between the electrodes and rolls, the corona generation distribution is uniform, and the surface modification treatment is uneven. High-precision processing with a small amount can be obtained.
(6) Since the self-weight unbalance at the center of the pivot support shaft of the electrode station including the main body box can be canceled by the balancer, the swing drive device can be reduced in size.
(7) The electrode automatically retracts and clears when there is an abnormality such as a power outage or air pressure down, preventing accidents involving seats and a safe device.
(8) Since there is a butterfly plate on the longitudinal cover 7 of the electrode station, the cover can be easily opened and the electrode section can be easily maintained.
(9) Since the duct is not swung, the generation of dust, dust and wear powder is reduced, and the product sheet can be prevented from being contaminated.
An object of the present invention is to provide a corona discharge device that efficiently discharges harmful gases and the like generated during corona discharge through a duct to reduce the size of the device.

As shown in FIGS. 1, 2, 8, 9, and the like, each

As shown in FIGS. 8 and 9, the

FIG. 9 shows a state in which the elbow shaft 52 and the
Next, the operation of the first embodiment of the present invention (FIGS. 1, 2, 3, 8, and 9) will be described. Further, since ozone gas is generated by corona discharge of the
8 and 9, in the electrode station 21, the
Since the pushing force of the
The opening position of the electrode station 21 is determined by the cylinder stroke end of the turning device 10. The
This gas spring is a well-known one that is widely used for balancing the weight of the rear door of an automobile.
When the air cylinder of the turning device 10 is pushed and pulled, the
The weight balance of the electrode station 21 will be further described. The center of gravity of the electrode station 21 changes with a trigonometric function cosin θ depending on the movement angle θ of the opening operation. (Θ is an angle between the center of gravity and the horizontal direction of the earth) The angle between the gas spring of the
Therefore, although a perfect balance cannot be achieved, the purpose of this embodiment is to provide an approximate weight balance, so that the balance is achieved during operation, that is, in the state of FIG. The same applies to the
To be precise, as described below, the force of the
The air cylinder as the swivel device 10 has a known speed adjustment valve, and can adjust the operation speed. In addition, since there is a cushion on both sides of the air cylinder, there is a stop cushion at the stroke end and there is no stop impact.
The stroke stopper 46 is used to finely adjust the clearance D between the
Since the
Further, since the weight is balanced, the driving force of the turning device 10 can be reduced, and a small device can be realized.
FIG. 3 shows a state in which the swivel device 10 is opened to bring the power station 21 into the open position. The electrode station 21 pulls the air cylinder to open the gap D.
Similarly, the

Also, there are four
As an example, the cross-sectional shape is the same and the length is changed. In this case, it is estimated that the beam length will be tripled when supported by four
That is, when the beam length of the conventional example of FIG. 15 is different from that of FIG. 1 of the present invention by 3 times, the deflection is compared to 1/81 or less, and the deflection is reduced to 1/81 or less than the conventional. .

This is convenient for the opening operation because there is a handle 48A in the case of the gap adjustment of the
Further, since the
