すなわち、本発明は、
(1)(a)1,5−ジアミノペンタンと炭素数6以上のジカルボン酸を主要成分として含有する単量体から構成されるポリアミド樹脂100重量部に対して、(b)難燃剤1〜50重量部を配合してなる難燃性ポリアミド樹脂組成物、
(2)前記(b)難燃剤がリン系難燃剤、窒素系難燃剤、金属水酸化物系難燃剤および臭素系難燃剤から選ばれた少なくとも1種であることを特徴とする(1)記載の難燃性ポリアミド樹脂組成物、
(3)前記(b)難燃剤がメラミンシアヌレートであり、(b)難燃剤の配合量が、(a)1,5−ジアミノペンタンと炭素数6以上のジカルボン酸を主要成分として含有する単量体から構成されるポリアミド樹脂100重量部に対して3〜20重量部であることを特徴とする(1)または(2)に記載の難燃性ポリアミド樹脂組成物、
(4)炭素数6以上のジカルボン酸が、アジピン酸、アゼライン酸、セバシン酸、ドデカン二酸、テレフタル酸、およびイソフタル酸から選ばれる少なくとも1種である(1)〜(3)のいずれかに記載の難燃性ポリアミド樹脂組成物、
(5)前記(a)1,5−ジアミノペンタンと炭素数6以上のジカルボン酸を主要成分として含有する単量体から構成されるポリアミド樹脂の大気平衡吸水率が、3.0%以上である(1)〜(4)のいずれかに記載の難燃性ポリアミド樹脂組成物、
(6)さらにガラス繊維を配合してなる(1)〜(5)のいずれかに記載の難燃性ポリアミド樹脂組成物、
(7)(1)〜(6)のいずれかに記載の難燃性ポリアミド樹脂組成物からなる成形品、
である。
