Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a cationically polymerizable composition, and in particular, a cationically polymerizable composition that can be used for an ink composition, a coating composition, an adhesive composition, a nanoimprinting composition, an optical modeling material composition, and the like. It is about.
As the photocurable composition, a photoradical curable composition is well known. However, when a photocuring reaction is performed in air, that is, in the presence of oxygen, a stop reaction, a so-called oxygen inhibition reaction occurs, resulting in poor curing. On the other hand, the photocationic curable composition can be reacted in air since there is no concern about the oxygen inhibition reaction. Among these, cationically polymerizable vinyl ethers are actively studied because of their low skin irritation and toxicity. For example, a combination of vinyl ether and a so-called photoacid generator (photopolymerization initiator) that generates an acid by light, various photocatalytic curable compositions for use in coating agents, photoresists, inkjet inks, and nanoimprints have been reported. ing.
However, although the cationic polymerizable composition using vinyl ether has a faster curing speed than the composition using epoxy, oxetane, etc., coloring occurs due to polymerization heat during curing, heating after curing, and coloring over time. (Refer to the comparative example of the present application). This is a serious obstacle when a cationically polymerizable composition using vinyl ether is used in various applications.
So far, there have been very few reported examples of improving the coloring due to the heat of polymerization during curing, the heating after curing, and the coloring over time in cationically polymerizable compositions using vinyl ether. An object of the present invention is to provide a cationically polymerizable composition using a vinyl ether, in which coloring due to polymerization heat at the time of curing is suppressed, and coloring after heating and curing over time is suppressed. .
As a result of intensive studies to achieve the above object, the present inventors have found that one or more nitrogen-containing compounds selected from the group consisting of basic nitrogen-containing compounds and basic nitrogen-containing compounds, vinyl ether, And a cationically polymerizable composition characterized by containing an acid generator, and it has been found that coloring due to heat of polymerization at the time of curing is suppressed, and coloring after heating and time after curing is suppressed. It came to be completed. The nitrogen-containing compound in the present invention is preferably a nitrogen-containing compound represented by the following formula (I). Moreover, it is preferable that 0.01-5 weight% of nitrogen-containing compounds are contained with respect to vinyl ether in the cationically polymerizable composition of this invention.
The cationic polymerizable composition of the present invention is suppressed from coloring due to polymerization heat at the time of curing, and is suppressed from being colored by heating and time after curing, so an ink composition, a coating composition, an adhesive composition, a nanoimprint It is suitable for uses such as a composition for optical use and a composition for optical modeling material.

Curability test (Example 1-12, Comparative Example 1-3)
Each component shown in Table 1 was mixed to prepare a cationic polymerization composition. Thereafter, a coating film was formed on the PET film using a 50 μm applicator and irradiated with 118 mJ / cm 2 with a high-pressure mercury lamp with an irradiation intensity of 120 W. The resulting cured product was heated by placing the PET film with the coating film on a hot plate as it was and heating at 120 degrees for 2 minutes. The coloring test was evaluated after curing and after heating, and uncolored ones were evaluated as ◯, lightly colored ones as Δ, and colored ones as ×. The results are shown in Table 1.
As is clear from Example 1-16, it was confirmed that the cationic polymerizable composition containing the nitrogen-containing compound was suppressed from being colored after curing and heating.
