Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a catheter that is inserted into a living body of a mammal including human beings and is indwelled, injecting a drug or the like into an affected area, or sucking a body fluid containing unnecessary pus from the affected area, and a drug supply / body fluid using the catheter It relates to a suction system.
2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, a catheter inserted into a mammal including a human has a pointed distal end on the affected area in order to place the insertion portion at a desired position when performing a surgical procedure. For this reason, in order to reduce the risk of damage to nerves or the like concentrated on the dorsal side, the catheter is often placed by incising the ventral side.
By the way, when the catheter is inserted into the body cavity through the skin from outside the body, resident bacteria etc. present in the skin may adhere to the insertion part of the catheter and cause infection by entering the body cavity. . In particular, in the case of a patient having a disease such as a cancer patient, the immunity is often lowered, and the risk of infectious disease becomes higher.
In addition, when inserting a catheter from outside the body to an affected area where other organs or organs are densely located or deep, particularly an affected area such as a dorsal organ, the abdomen is often incised, inevitably The distance between the incision and the incision becomes longer. For this reason, the indwelling catheter may receive the influence of the biological vibration and body movement by respiration, pulsation, etc., and position shift etc. may occur.
The present invention has been made in view of the above, and suppresses the occurrence of infectious diseases when the catheter is indwelled in the body, and stably suppresses the influence of biological vibration and body movement in the body. Further, the catheter according to the present invention is characterized in that, in the above invention, a fixing portion having a width wider than the diameter of the catheter is provided on the proximal end side of the insertion portion and / or the proximal end side of the puncture portion. To do.
The drug supply / fluid suction system according to the present invention is a tube-shaped catheter having an internal channel and at least one opening communicating with the internal channel, and is provided on the distal end side of the catheter and inserted into an affected area. A catheter having a connector and the another catheter having a second connector for connecting to the first connector are connected, and the first connector and the first connector are connected. And a medicine supply / body fluid suction device that supplies medicine and / or sucks body fluid containing pus while the two connectors are connected.
According to the present invention, when the catheter is indwelled in the body, the insertion part and the puncture part are provided at both ends of the catheter, the insertion part is inserted into the affected part, and the puncture part is outside the body or inside the luminal organ from the body cavity side. Since it is punctured toward the space, it can be stably placed in the body while suppressing the occurrence of infectious diseases and minimizing the effects of biological vibration and body movement.
Hereinafter, with reference to the drawings, a catheter which is a form for carrying out the present invention and a medicine supply / body fluid suction system using the same will be described. In this embodiment, the outside of the body is described as an example of the region (external body, digestive tract cavity, vaginal cavity, uterine cavity, etc.) separated by epithelial tissue and / or muscle tissue.
(Embodiment 1)
FIG. 1 is a perspective view schematically showing the configuration of a catheter according to Embodiment 1 of the present invention. FIG. 2 is a cross-sectional view schematically showing the configuration of the catheter shown in FIG. The catheter 1 has a
The catheter 1 is punctured into the
On the other hand, the puncture unit 4 projects outside the body by puncturing and penetrating the
Note that the
The entire catheter 1 is realized by a biocompatible material, for example, polyurethane, elastic silicon, fluororesin, polyvinyl chloride, polyethylene, etc., so that contact with other organs can be avoided as much as possible as shown in FIG. Can be bent easily.
As shown in FIG. 3, the puncture unit 4 can be easily cut and removed at the position indicated by the breaking line L1. For example, the member at the position indicated by the breaking line L1 is formed of a fragile material so that the puncture portion 4 can be easily folded. Alternatively, the puncture portion 4 may be easily folded by making the aperture at the position indicated by the breaking line L1 smaller than the aperture of other portions. By doing so, the puncture unit 4 can easily fold the puncture unit 4 outside the body in a state where the puncture unit 4 is fixed after protruding from the
Here, it has the
As shown in FIG. 3, the
In the
By the way, the puncture part 4 is made into the taper shape from which a diameter becomes large toward a base part from a front-end | tip. That is, the distal end of the puncture portion 4 is sharp, and is a tapered portion whose diameter increases from the sharp distal end toward the proximal end of the puncture portion 4. It is the same as the diameter. For example, as shown in FIGS. 4 to 7, the shape of the portion where the diameter increases may be various shapes that continuously or intermittently increase in thickness from the distal end of the puncture portion 4 toward the base portion. By making the puncture portion 4 in such a shape, when penetrating the portion 4 through the tissue of the
In addition, the puncture part 4 is good also as a curved shape, as shown in FIG. The puncture unit 4 punctures the inside of the
Here, a procedure for placing the catheter 1 in the body will be described with reference to a flowchart shown in FIG. First, the surgeon incises the abdomen of the patient (step S101). Thereafter, the
By the way, in the case of placing this catheter in the body, after inserting the distal end of the catheter from the incision portion and inserting the insertion portion of the distal end into the affected portion, the proximal end portion is left out of the incision portion. It was. In this conventional catheter, the proximal end portion does not necessarily have a puncture shape, and thus there has been no catheter having a sharp proximal end portion in conventional placement catheters. When performing surgery with such a conventional catheter, there was no problem if the affected part was near the incision, but when placing the catheter in the deep part, particularly the affected part existing on the back side, from the incision to the affected part. If there is a long distance or if there are many organs or organs in the middle, it is difficult to crawl, preventing contact with other organs or organs, In some cases, it was difficult to place the catheter in a state where the effects of the above were sufficiently eliminated. In addition, when another catheter is inserted into the body cavity by penetrating the skin from outside the body, resident bacteria etc. existing in the skin may adhere to the insertion part and cause infection in the affected part when the insertion part is inserted into the affected part There was sex.
In contrast, in the first embodiment, the catheter 1 is inserted from the incision portion by newly providing a puncture portion 4 for penetrating the epithelial tissue or muscle tissue of the
(Embodiment 2)
Next, a second embodiment of the present invention will be described. FIG. 10 is a perspective view schematically showing the structure of the catheter according to the second embodiment of the present invention. As shown in FIG. 10, this
(Embodiment 3)
Next, a third embodiment of the present invention will be described. FIG. 11 is a sectional view schematically showing the structure of the catheter according to the third embodiment of the present invention. As shown in FIG. 11, this
(Embodiment 4)
Next, a fourth embodiment of the present invention will be described. FIG. 12 is a perspective view schematically showing the structure of the insertion portion of the catheter according to the fourth embodiment of the present invention. As shown in FIG. 12, the
