このためカバー交換を容易にするため、他の辺にもファスナーを付けるなどの改善が図られたものがあるが、布団カバーのファスナーは、開閉時に布の端をかみこませたり、洗濯時のストレスなどで壊れ、開閉できなくなることが比較的多い。
そしてこの長いファスナーが開閉できなくなれば、布団カバー自体が使用できなくなる。
このことから、ファスナー部を多くすることはこのリスクがさらに増加することとなり好ましいことではない。
また、ファスナー部の増加にはコスト上のデメリットも発生する。

以下、本発明の実施形態について説明する。
図１の右側が本発明品の布団カバー（１）、左側は一般的な掛け布団（４）である。
本発明の構造は、
（イ）上布（１ａ）と下布（１ｂ）とを重ね合わせ、縦の一つの辺を開口して布団出し入れ口（２ｃ）とし、これにファスナー（２ｄ）を取り付け開閉可能としている。
（ロ）横の２辺は縫い合わせている。
（ハ）残りの縦の辺は、２つの角付近に腕が入る程度の開口部（２ａ、２ｂ）を設け、その他の部分は縫い合わせている。
（ニ）布団カバー（１）の内側の角および各辺の中央付近には、布団とのズレを防止するための結び紐（３ａ〜３ｈ）を設けているが、これは一般的な掛け布団カバーと変わらない。
（ホ）開口部（２ａ、２ｂ）は小さいので、特に閉じなくとも実用上差し支えはないが、場合によってはそれぞれの中央付近にスナップなどを設けて閉じる。
一方、掛け布団（４）側には、通常布団カバー（１）に設けられた結び紐（３ａ〜３ｈ）のそれぞれ対応する位置に、結び紐を結ぶ紐掛け（５ａ〜５ｈ）が設けられている。
以上が本発明の構造であるが、一般的な布団カバーと異なるのは２箇所の開口部（２ａ、２ｂ）が設けられている点のみである。
このカバーを布団にかぶせるには図２のように、
（イ）ファスナー（２ｄ）を全開にし、一方の開口部（２ａ）から片腕をいれ、腕（６）にカバー（１）を掛けるようにたくし上げ、その手の先を布団出し入れ口（２ｃ）から出す。
（ロ）その手で掛け布団（４）の角をつかみ、カバー（１）内に引き込むと共に、もう片方の手で、カバー（１）を布団（４）側に引っ張りカバー（１）をかぶせる。
（ハ）開口部（２ａ）側まで布団（４）を引き込んだら、この位置の結び紐（３ａ）と対応する位置の紐掛け（５ａ）を開口部（２ａ）より指をいれ結び止める。
（ニ）同様に、もう一方の開口部（２ｂ）から腕を入れ、布団（４）の反対側もカバー（１）をかぶせ、結び紐（３ｂ）と紐掛け（５ｂ）を結び止める。
（ホ）次に、全開の布団出し入れ口（２ｃ）から両手を入れ、残った結び紐全て（３ｃ〜３ｈ）を、それぞれの紐掛け（５ｃ〜５ｈ）に結びつける。
（ヘ）ファスナー（２ｄ）を閉じ終了。
カバーを外す手順は、
（イ）開口部（２ａ）に手を入れ、結び紐（３ａ）を解き、紐掛け（５ａ）から外す。
（ロ）もう一方の開口部（２ｂ）からも同様に結び紐（３ｂ）を外す。
（ハ）ファスナー（２ｄ）を全開し、布団出し入れ口（２ｃ）から手をいれ、残った紐掛け（５ｃ〜５ｈ）から結び紐（３ｃ〜３ｈ）を解く。
（ニ）布団出し入れ口（２ｃ）から、掛け布団（４）を出し終了。
以上、一般的な布団カバーとファスナーの長さは同じであるが、布団カバー（１）を裏返すことなく、簡単に交換ができる。Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described.
