指紋読取装置(90)の状態をリセットするため、電子デバイス(100)の初期化の際アンロック状態に設定されている物理的存在状態(92)に応答して、電子デバイス(100)が指紋読取装置(90)に対するリセットコマンドを受け入れることを可能にするようになっている指紋読取装置(90)のリセット方法。

Claims (10)
- 指紋読取装置(90)の状態をリセットするために、電子デバイス(100)の初期化の際にアンロック状態に設定されている物理的存在状態(92)に応答して、電子デバイス(100)が指紋読取装置(90)のリセットコマンドを受け入れできるようになっていることを特徴とする指紋読取装置(90)をリセットする方法。
- さらに、ロック状態に設定されている前記物理的存在状態(92)に応答して、前記リセットコマンドを受け入れないように指紋読取装置(90)をロックすることを有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- さらに、設定されている前記物理的存在状態(92)に応答して、前記電子デバイス(100)が前記物理的存在状態(92)に1回書き込むことを可能にしていることを有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- さらに、物理的存在の有効な検証である使用者入力の確認に応答して、前記物理的存在状態(92)をアンロック状態に設定することを有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- さらに、離れた所の使用者が前記指紋読取装置(90)をリセットするリモートリクエスト(128)を確認することを有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- さらに、前記リセットコマンドの実行に応答して、前記指紋読取装置(90)を工場出荷時状態(95)に設定することを有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- さらに、前記リセットコマンドの実行に応答して、使用者識別情報(94)を消去することを有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 電子デバイス(100)の指紋読取装置(90)の状態をリセットするため、前記電子デバイス(100)の初期化の際アンロック状態に設定されている物理的存在状態(92)に応答して、リセットコマンドを実行するように構成されている指紋読取装置リセットモジュール(122)を備えた電子デバイス(100)を有することを特徴とする指紋読取装置リセットシステム(10)。
- 前記指紋読取装置リセットモジュール(122)がロック状態に設定されている前記物理的存在状態(92)に応答して、前記リセットコマンドの実行を阻止するように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項8に記載のシステム(10)。
- 使用者入力が物理的存在の有効な検証として確認されるのに応答して、前記物理的存在状態(92)をアンロック状態に設定するように、前記指紋読取装置リセットモジュール(122)が構成されていることを特徴とする請求項8に記載のシステム(10)。
