Abstract
Description
Claims (21)
- 無線ネットワークの調整器でのチャネル評価方法であって、
前記無線ネットワーク内で現在使用中のチャネルの評価を要請するための第1情報要素を放送する段階と、
前記無線ネットワークの少なくとも一つのデバイスから前記チャネル評価要請に対する確認応答を受信する段階と、
前記少なくとも一つのデバイスに前記チャネル評価作業を行なう時間区間情報を伝送する段階と、
前記少なくとも一つのデバイスで前記時間区間情報により指示される時間区間に獲得されたチャネル評価結果を、前記少なくとも一つのデバイスから受信する段階と、
を含む、チャネル評価方法。 - 前記第1情報要素及び前記時間区間情報は、ビーコン(beacon)に含まれて伝送されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のチャネル評価方法。
- 前記第1情報要素は周期的に放送されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のチャネル評価方法。
- 前記時間区間には前記無線ネットワークでいかなるデバイスもデータを伝送しないようにスケジューリングされることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のチャネル評価方法。
- 前記無線ネットワークで高速物理チャネル及び低速物理チャネルを通じて通信が行なわれることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のチャネル評価方法。
- 前記チャネル評価結果は第2情報要素に含まれて受信されることを特徴とする、請求項5に記載のチャネル評価方法。
- 前記チャネル評価結果は少なくとも2つのチャネル状態レベルで表現されることを特徴とする、請求項6に記載のチャネル評価方法。
- 前記第2情報要素は、前記高速及び低速チャネルの識別情報を含むことを特徴とする、請求項7に記載のチャネル評価方法。
- 前記第2情報要素は、前記チャネル評価結果が表現されるデータタイプに関する情報を含むことを特徴とする、請求項7に記載のチャネル評価方法。
- 無線ネットワークで現在使用中のチャネル以外の他のチャネルを探索する方法であって、
前記無線ネットワークの調整器で現在使用中のチャネル以外の少なくとも一つのチャネル探索を要請するための第1情報要素を放送する段階と、
前記無線ネットワークの少なくとも一つのデバイスから前記チャネル探索要請に対する確認応答を受信する段階と、
前記少なくとも一つのデバイスにより測定された前記少なくとも一つのチャネルの状態を表示するチャネル探索結果を、前記少なくとも一つのデバイスから受信する段階と、
を含む、チャネル探索方法。 - 前記チャネル探索要請に対する確認応答受信後に、前記少なくとも一つのデバイスがチャネル探索中であることを前記無線ネットワークを通じて放送する段階をさらに含む、請求項10に記載のチャネル探索方法。
- 前記状態測定結果受信後に、前記少なくとも一つのデバイスが元来のチャネルに復帰したことを前記無線ネットワークを通じて放送する段階をさらに含む、請求項11に記載のチャネル探索方法。
- 前記第1情報要素はビーコンに含まれて伝送されることを特徴とする、請求項10に記載のチャネル探索方法。
- 前記無線ネットワークで高速物理チャネル及び低速物理チャネルを通じて通信が行なわれることを特徴とする、請求項10に記載のチャネル探索方法。
- 前記チャネル探索結果は第2情報要素に含まれて受信されることを特徴とする、請求項14に記載のチャネル探索方法。
- 前記チャネル検索結果は少なくとも2つのチャネル状態レベルで表現されることを特徴とする、請求項15に記載のチャネル探索方法。
- 前記第2情報要素は、前記高速及び低速チャネルの識別情報を含むことを特徴とする、請求項16に記載のチャネル探索方法。
- 前記第2情報要素は、前記チャネル探索結果が表現されるデータタイプに関する情報を含むことを特徴とする、請求項16に記載のチャネル探索方法。
- 前記チャネル探索結果に基づいて前記無線ネットワークで使用中のチャネルを他のチャネルに変更することを決定する段階と、
既に設定された回数だけビーコンを放送する段階と、
前記既に設定された回数だけビーコンを放送した後に、前記変更されるチャネルへとチャネルを変更する段階と、
を含む、請求項10に記載のチャネル探索方法。 - 無線ネットワークの特定デバイスでのチャネル評価方法であって、
前記無線ネットワークの調整器から現在使用中のチャネルの評価を要請するための第1情報要素が含まれたビーコンを受信する段階と、
前記調整器に前記チャネル評価要請に対する確認応答を伝送する段階と、
前記調整器から前記チャネル評価作業を行なう時間区間情報を含むビーコンを受信する段階と、
前記時間区間情報により指示される時間区間に、前記現在使用中のチャネルの状態を測定する段階と、
前記チャネル状態測定により獲得されたチャネル評価結果を前記調整器に伝送する段階と、
を含む、チャネル評価方法。 - 無線ネットワークで現在使用中のチャネル以外の他のチャネルを探索する方法であって、
前記無線ネットワークの調整器から、現在使用中のチャネル以外の少なくとも一つのチャネルを探索することを要請する第1情報要素を含むビーコンを受信する段階と、
前記調整器に前記チャネル探索要請に対する確認応答を伝送する段階と、
前記少なくとも一つのチャネルの状態を測定する段階と、
前記チャネル状態測定結果に基づいて前記少なくとも一つのチャネルの状態を表示するチャネル探索結果を前記調整器に伝送する段階と、
を含む、チャネル探索方法。
