また本発明の照準望遠鏡の変倍装置は、ズーム用カム筒を高倍率方向に回動する弾性力を、一端を鏡筒本体に連結し、他端を変倍リングに連結した巻きバネにより付与するものであるから、きわめて簡潔な構造による変倍装置を得ることができる効果がある。
