図18及び図19は、青果物熟成加工管理システムの備える通知機能を説明する説明図である。この通知機能とは、任意の情報(管理者の追熟技術に関する重要な判断基準)を予めホストコンピュータに設定することで、管理者(加工士)の代わりにコンピュータに追熟工程を管理させて追熟状態を予め設定した通知先にウェブ(インターネット)を利用して報告する機能である。図18は、「1号室追熟発生」や「7号室エチレン投入」などの通知を希望する情報を設定する画面である。設定する情報は、情報の種類や重要度に応じて「情報A」と「情報B」に区分した。また、図19は、図18で設定した情報の通知先を設定する画面である。ここで、通知には電子メールを利用することとし、通知先の電子メールアドレスと通知する情報(「情報A」「情報B」)を設定する。なお、通知手段は、電子メールに限らず通知可能な手段であればよく、例えば、FAXや電話(音声による通知)などを利用してもよい。この通知機能を備えることで、管理者(加工士)はバナナ室の管理・監視に必要な情報(例:加工開始、追熟発生、加工終了など)を自ら管理システムにアクセスしなくても、通知機能により受動的に入手できるので、作業時間が大幅に短縮でき、複数の加工場を一括に管理・監視すること(図3を参照)を実現可能なものにできる。バナナ追熟加工の現状は、加工場ごとに管理者(加工士)が選任され加工マニュアルを基にバナナの品質統一をはかっているが、各管理者(加工士)の判断のもとで運用しているために品質に違いが生じることが多く、加工工程におけるヒューマンエラーの発生も少なくない。そこで、情報の定義を統一することにより、複数の加工場での品質統一がはかれ、加工工程におけるヒューマンエラーも防止できることも本願発明の特徴の1つである。   FIG.18 and FIG.19 is explanatory drawing explaining the notification function with which a fruit and vegetable ripening process management system is provided.
