Abstract

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate such a disadvantages hard to attain sharp and excellent print reproduction due to "blur" or "collapse" in printing on the corrugated cardboard because a printing plate is hard to match with on the rough surface of corrugated cardboard and also to eliminate wasteful consumption of resources spent on the printing plate. <P>SOLUTION: The printing plate is provided with a layer having a number of pieces of air bubbles with an extremely small diameter and hollow parts having a cone-like shape or the like on a printing plate support body (base section). A photo-sensitive resin printing plate structure is integrally formed with a printing plate imaging layer. The problem is solved by this way. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT

Description

The present invention relates to a photosensitive resin printing plate for printing on corrugated cardboard, etc., and is a layer in which a large number of cavities such as extremely small diameter bubbles and cones are formed on a support layer (base portion) of a printing plate (hereinafter mixed with bubbles, etc.) By adding a device called “layer”, resource saving, light weight, and high-precision printing are brought about.

Conventionally, a printing plate for cardboard printing has to be printed by a method that is compatible with the irregularities on the surface of the cardboard and does not impair the cardboard strength.
As countermeasures, only the plate surface support portion is softened, or the printing plate is thinned and a soft cushion layer is applied on the lower side thereof to try to maintain printing accuracy while absorbing printing impact. (See Figure 1)

However, when the support is made soft, the amount of printing material used and the weight are almost the same, so the centrifugal force applied to the printing plate due to the recent increase in the speed of the printing press is not reduced, and the plate surface rises. This is a cause of the occurrence of marginal (print bleeding) due to excessive contact with the ink roll (anilox roll) and the cardboard surface.
Furthermore, problems remain in terms of work labor due to effective use of resources and heavy stamping. In the case of the printing method in which the printing plate is thinned and the cushion layer is wound around the plate cylinder on the lower side, it takes time to install and remove the cushion layer. In addition, a hard layer in which the base film and the carrier sheet overlap between the printing plate and the cushion layer is formed, and the printing plate surface is difficult to fit into the concave portion of the cardboard surface. The problem remains. (See Fig. 1 (2))

Means to solve the problem

(図2▲1▼参照)In order to solve this problem, the invention of claim 1 is a layer in which a large number of extremely small diameter bubbles are mixed in the plate surface support portion, so that the impact of the printing plate surface can be absorbed by the bubbles, and resource saving, By reducing the weight, various problems can be solved. (See Fig. 2 (1))

(図2▲2▼▲3▼参照)Further, the invention of claim 2 is that the bottom of the printing plate support can absorb the impact of the printing plate surface during printing by providing a large number of cavities such as cones and hemispheres with a very small diameter at the bottom of the printing plate support. Opening a large number of extremely small holes in the film makes it easier for the plate surface to become familiar with the recesses on the surface of the corrugated cardboard, and solves various problems as in the previous section. (See Fig. 2 (2) (3))

BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION

The plate surface image portion layer is made of the same smooth and non-mixed material as bubbles, and is a mixed layer of bubbles and the like that retains the strength of the plate support layer as a support. The material is preferably a photosensitive resin having the same quality as that of the plate surface image portion layer, or a material that blends with the material of the plate surface image portion layer.

The method of mixing bubbles in the plate surface support of the printing plate according to the present invention is a method of stirring the material or applying it in a shower-like manner, and a method of applying a large number of cavities such as a cone is the use of a mold, etc. Thus, each of them can be mass-produced industrially by a simple method, improving printing accuracy, saving resources, reducing costs and reducing labor, and industrial applicability is extremely large.
