Description

The present invention relates to a so-called surveillance camera that is installed in a ceiling or a wall surface in order to reduce discomfort and intimidation for a subject while being installed for security purposes, and a camera storage case thereof.

Surveillance cameras are generally installed so as to appeal their presence in anticipation of a threatening effect on criminals. However, in recent years, awareness of personal information protection, portrait rights, etc. has increased socially, and there has been a tendency to feel uncomfortable and intimidating the presence of surveillance cameras.

In order to respond to such social demands, most of the surveillance cameras are embedded in the ceiling and wall surfaces (hereinafter, the ceiling and wall surfaces are collectively referred to as wall surfaces), and only the dome case with a transparent part is exposed for shooting. A type of surveillance camera is used.

On the other hand, a troublesome problem when installing on the wall surface is that foreign matter such as dust and insects inside the wall surface enters the dome after installation and damages the visibility of the dome. As a countermeasure, it is necessary to shield the inside of the dome and the space in the wall surface.

An example of dealing with these problems is disclosed in Patent Document 1. This is to fix a surveillance camera, which is a so-called dome camera, in which a casing of a camera device itself is configured as a sealed dome case to a wall surface embedding device fixed in advance on a wall surface.

In addition, ASC Co., Ltd. has released a product that has a structure in which a surveillance camera is fixed in a sealed container that also serves as a fixture in the wall, the sealed container is housed in the wall, fixed, and then sealed with a transparent dome. It has become.
JP 2000-165732 A

Pan / tilt cameras (PT cameras) that can easily change the shooting range by panning (horizontal turning) or tilting (up-and-down turning) by remote control are monitored due to their ease of use and versatility. It is widely used not only for applications but also for office applications such as TV conferences and personal hobby applications. For this reason, PT cameras are required to have not only functionality but also excellent design. A so-called dome camera or the like has an integrated dome, so that a degree of freedom in design cannot be expected.

In addition, rapid switching from analog image distribution using a coaxial cable to digital image distribution using a network is progressing. Along with this, social demands for higher definition of captured images and transmission of images at a high frame rate are increasing. Furthermore, as a replacement for the conventional analog coaxial power supply superposition system, there is an increasing demand for incorporating a power receiving function (power supply function) of a so-called PoE (Power over Ethernet (registered trademark)) that superimposes network and power supply. From such a background, heat generation due to an increase in the load on the electrical parts of the PT camera has been greatly increased. Therefore, effective heat dissipation of heat is an important theme in order to protect the functions of the equipment.

In order to install the PT camera as described above on the wall surface, it is impossible to adopt the same configuration as a so-called dome camera.

Also, considering the intrusion of foreign matter inside the wall surface after installation into the dome, it seems to be a good idea to install the PT camera in a sealed container with the dome as a lid. However, a hot air layer is formed between the sealed container and the PT camera in the closed narrow space, and heat dissipation from the PT camera is greatly hindered. Although it is conceivable to provide a fan mechanism or the like in the container, not only will it become expensive due to the complicated structure, but it will also create factors that require extra maintenance other than the camera part. Furthermore, extra power is required to operate the fan mechanism.

As described above, regarding the installation of the PT camera on the wall surface, there has been no measure for easily preventing both foreign matter from entering the dome and effectively radiating heat.

In order to solve the above-mentioned problem, the wall mounting surveillance camera system according to the present invention is configured such that the fixing tool for fixing the PT camera to the ceiling does not have a sealed structure. Furthermore, the cylindrical casing connected to the entire circumference of the dome opening end is extended to the base part of the PT camera in which a large heat generating electrical part is built, and the entire circumference of one opening part of this casing is the PT camera base part. It connects so that only a part of may be sealed. As a result, foreign matter intrusion into the dome is prevented, and at the same time, most of the base part of the PT camera in which a large amount of heat generating electrical component is built-in is exposed in the open space on the back side of the wall, thereby effecting air convection heat radiation. Heat dissipation is possible. In addition, the fixture is made of a material having high thermal conductivity and thermal radiation, so that it can be used as a heat conducting plate that effectively acts as a heat sink and conducts heat to the ceiling.

As described above, according to the present invention, when a highly versatile PT camera is installed in a ceiling or a wall, it is possible to remove the wall surface without interfering with the effective heat dissipation of the electrical component and preventing the entry of foreign matter into the dome. The attached surveillance camera system can be realized with a simple configuration.

Next, details of the present invention will be described in accordance with the description of the embodiments.

FIG. 1 is a cross-sectional view of the present wall surface mounting monitoring camera system. The ceiling 11 has a surface on the lower side and a back side (inside) on the upper side.

The PT camera 1 includes a base unit 2, a rotation mechanism unit 3 installed on the base unit, a camera head 4, and an electrical unit 5 (not shown) built in the base unit. An interface cable 7 is connected to an external interface 6 provided on the base unit 2 from the outside.

The base portion 2 is fixed to the fixing member 8 with screws (not shown), and enters the ceiling from the opening 12 of the ceiling 11. The fixing member flange portion 9 protrudes from the opening 12 of the ceiling 11 to the surface side of the ceiling 11 and is fixed to the ceiling 11 with screws 13. The fixing member 8 has a shape as shown in FIG. 2 and does not have a container structure. Screws are fixed to the base portion 2 from the screw holes 20. Also, screws are fixed to the ceiling 11 from the screw holes 21.

The camera head 4 can rotate up and down so as not to interfere with the dome 14. The dome 14 and the housing 15 are joined together by screw joining, fitting, adhesion, or the like. The housing 15 includes a skirt portion 16 and a cylindrical portion 17. The protruding portion or groove portion 18 inside the opening of the skirt portion 16 and the claw portion 10 provided at the end of the fixing member flange portion 9 mesh with each other, and the housing 15 is fixed.

In this state, the length of the cylindrical portion 17 is adjusted so that the entire circumference of the opening end of the cylindrical portion 17 reaches the vicinity of the lower surface 22 of the base portion 2. If the lower surface 22 of the base part 2 is connected via a simple sealing member 19 such as a rubber packing or a liquid seal, the inside of the dome is sealed. In addition, the shape of the opening part of the cylindrical part 17 will not be ask | required if it is a position which does not prevent operation | movement of the rotation mechanism part 3. FIG.

In such an attached state, most of the base part 2 containing the electrical component 5 is exposed in the open space on the back side of the ceiling 11, and heat generated by the electrical component 5 enters the open space. Convection heat dissipation is possible.

Note that, depending on the clean state of the installation environment, the distance between the two surfaces is set precisely between the opening end of the cylindrical portion 17 and the lower surface 22 of the base portion 2 without using the seal member 19. It is also possible to use a connection only by contact.

The embodiment shown in FIG. 3 is a case where the outer dimensions of the base portion 2 are smaller than the inner dimensions of the cylindrical portion 17 of the housing 15 with respect to the example disclosed in FIG. is there.

The length of the cylindrical portion 17 is set so that the opening of the cylindrical portion 17 overlaps the side surface 23 of the base portion 2. If the inner surface of the opening of the cylindrical portion 17 and the side surface 23 of the base portion 2 are connected via a simple sealing member 19 such as a rubber packing or a liquid seal, the inside of the dome is sealed.

In this case, the opening of the cylindrical portion 17 needs to have a shape similar to the outer diameter shape of the base portion 2.

FIG. 4 is a conceptual drawing of the present embodiment. The PT camera 1 is attached to the ceiling 11 with a fixture 8. A rotating mechanism 3 and a camera head 4 are installed on the base 2. The dome 4 and the housing 15 are connected, and the housing 15 is fixed to the fixture 8. FIG. 5 is a view from the back surface of the ceiling 11 when FIG. 4 is viewed from the opposite direction. The cylindrical portion 17 of the housing 15 overlaps the side surface of the base portion 2. Moreover, it turns out that the base part 2 is set | placed by the open state in the ceiling back space. In addition, the depiction of the connection screw between the interface 6 provided on the base 2 and the outside, the interface cable 7, and the base 2 and the fixture 8 is omitted. The installation state of the first embodiment also conforms to this drawing state.

Depending on the clean state of the installation environment, the connection between the inner surface of the opening portion of the cylindrical portion 17 and the side surface 23 of the base portion 2 only by contact between the two surfaces with precisely setting the mutual dimensions is also possible. It is practical.

FIG. 6 shows the housing 15 in FIG. 1 separated into a cylindrical part 30 and a skirt part 31.

A cylindrical part 30 is coupled to the dome 14, and a skirt part 31 is coupled to the cylindrical part 30. The skirt part 31 is fixed to the fixture 8. Other configurations are the same as those in the first embodiment.

A change in the position of the base portion 2 can be dealt with only by changing the cylindrical part 30 without changing all of the housing 15.

FIG. 7 is a detail of a coupling portion obtained by changing the coupling method of the dome 14, the cylindrical part 30, and the skirt part 31 of FIG.

The dome 14 and the skirt part 31 are coupled, and the skirt part 31 and the cylindrical part 30 are coupled by a screw 32 having a predetermined length. The cylindrical part 30 can move in the longitudinal direction with respect to the skirt part 31. The length of the cylindrical part can be arbitrarily adjusted by fixing it by using an external set screw (not shown) after adhesion of the necessary amount. According to this configuration, it is possible to cope with the change in the position of the base part 2 only by changing the position of the cylindrical component 30.

The screw portion 32 may have an inlay structure.

FIGS. 8 to 11 show examples of configurations in which the seal member 19 is not used for connection between the cylindrical member 17 and the base portion 2.

In FIG. 8, a groove 40 is provided on the lower surface 22 of the base portion 2 in the configuration of the first embodiment, and the tubular member 17 is fitted therein.

In FIG. 9, a step from the lower surface 22 to the side surface 23 of the base portion 2 is formed, and a matching shape is also formed on the cylindrical member 17.

In FIG. 10, a groove 41 is provided on the lower surface 22 of the base portion 2, and a groove 42 is provided in the tubular member 17. The inner side of the cylindrical member 17 is fitted into the groove 41, and the outer peripheral portion is overlapped with the side surface 23.

In FIG. 11, a groove 43 is provided on the side surface 23 of the base portion 2, and a protruding portion 44 formed with a gently curved surface formed inside the cylindrical member 17 is fitted.
