前記支持板の表面に沿って移動して用紙を搬送する搬送ベルトと、
前記支持板よりも前記搬送方向の後方側に配置され前記搬送ベルトに巻回されるベルト用ローラとの間で前記用紙を前記搬送ベルトに押し付ける第１紙押さえローラと、
前記支持板と対向して配置され該支持板との間で前記用紙を前記搬送ベルトに押し付ける第２紙押さえローラと、
前記搬送ベルトを貫通して設けられた第１孔部と、
前記支持板に、前記搬送ベルトに向けて開口して設けられた第２孔部と、
連通する前記第１孔部及び前記第２孔部を介して前記用紙を負圧吸引する吸引装置とを備え、
前記第１孔部は、前記搬送ベルトにおける前記用紙に対する支持面全体に亘って互いに間隔をあけて複数配列され、
前記第２孔部は、前記搬送方向前方に向かうに従って、前記幅方向の中央部から、順次離間した位置に配置されることを特徴とする画像形成装置。 A support plate disposed opposite the recording head;
