Description

The present invention relates to a pet excreta absorbent sheet.

In recent years, pets such as dogs and cats are like families, and people and pets often live in the same space. 2. Description of the Related Art A sheet-type pet excreta absorbing sheet is known as a urine processing molded product for pets kept indoors. The excreta absorbing sheet for pets has a liquid permeable top sheet, an absorbent body, and a liquid-impermeable back sheet in order from the top, so that pet urine can be retained in the absorbent body.
Conventionally, the excrement absorbing sheet for pets has a weak excrement holding power and the urine tends to reverse, so that the excrement absorbing sheet for pets has to be replaced each time. Moreover, in addition to the weak holding power, the absorption rate is slow, and there is a risk that the pet's foot may get wet during urination, which tends to be unsanitary.
In recent years, the number of working households has increased, and it is difficult to replace the pet excrement absorbing sheet each time, and there is a need for a sanitary pet excreta absorbing sheet that can be installed for a long time.

In order to improve urine retention and absorption speed, there is a method of adding a water-absorbing resin to a pet excreta absorption sheet. When a large amount of water-absorbing resin is used, the amount of urine retained increases. However, the water-absorbent resin swollen by urine tends to form a lump when it is dense. This becomes a barrier and causes blocking that prevents urine absorption. Accordingly, there has been a problem in that a large amount of urine cannot be absorbed simply by increasing the amount of the water-absorbing resin, and the absorption rate becomes slower with time.
Therefore, Patent Document 1 discloses a pet excreta absorbent sheet having a three-layered absorbent structure and laminated in the order of a water absorbent resin layer, a fibrous absorbent layer, and a water absorbent resin layer from the top sheet side. Yes.
Moreover, in patent document 2, the excrement absorption sheet | seat for pets which makes an absorber a four-layer structure and has two water-absorbing resin layers between two fibrous absorber layers is disclosed.

The excreta absorbent sheet for pets disclosed in Patent Documents 1 and 2 makes it easy to shift urine to the back sheet side by preventing the blocking by making the water absorbent resin layer into two layers of different water absorbent resins. Trying to improve urine retention and absorption speed.
However, the layer formed only from the water-absorbent resin tends to swell and become a lump and tends to cause blocking. Therefore, the retention and absorption speed of urine are not sufficient, and it has not been possible to prevent urine from reversing for a long time.
Therefore, in Patent Document 3, the absorbent body has a two-layer structure, and from the surface sheet side, the water-absorbing resin layer whose surface is crosslinked, and the fibrous absorbent body and the non-crosslinked water-absorbing resin are mixed in this order. A laminated excreta absorbent sheet for pets is disclosed.
Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 11-332413 Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2005-6604 JP 2005-198598 A

The excreta absorbent sheet for pets disclosed in Patent Document 3 prevents the swelling by cross-linking the surface of the water absorbent resin used for the water absorbent resin layer on the top sheet side. It was not something that could be prevented.
Further, the pet excreta absorbing sheet has an effect of preventing urine diffusion.
However, if diffusion of urine is prevented, only a part of the absorber is used when excreted at the same place, and there is a problem that it cannot be used for a long time.

The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and an object of the present invention is to provide a pet excreta absorbent sheet that is excellent in urine retention and absorption speed, has little urine reversal, and can be used hygienically for a long time.

In the absorbent body according to the excrement absorbent sheet for pets of the present invention, the absorption rate of the water absorbent resin A used for the lower layer is faster than the absorption rate of the water absorbent resin B used for the upper layer.
At this time, the difference between the absorption rate of the water absorbent resin A used for the lower layer and the absorption rate of the water absorbent resin B used for the upper layer is preferably 3 seconds or more, and more preferably 5 seconds or more. The upper limit value of the difference is preferably within 30 seconds.
If the difference in absorption speed is 3 seconds or more, urine tends to be hardly absorbed in the upper layer, and urine is absorbed in the lower layer, so that the effect of preventing reversion can be exhibited. If the difference in absorption rate is within 30 seconds, the absorption rate is too slow, and it is difficult for urine to stick to the body of the pet during urination.

[Pet waste absorption sheet]
An example of the pet excreta absorbing sheet of the present invention is shown in FIG.
A pet excreta absorbing sheet 10 shown in FIG. 1 includes a liquid-permeable top sheet 11, a liquid-impermeable back sheet 13, and an absorbent body 12 provided therebetween. The absorbent body has two layers of an upper layer 16 and a lower layer 17, the upper layer is made of a mixture of the fibrous absorbent body 20 and the water absorbent resin B 19, and the lower layer 17 is a mixture of the fibrous absorbent body 21 and the water absorbent resin A 22. Consists of. Further, when the surface sheet further has two layers, it is preferable to use the resin film 14 and the thin paper or nonwoven fabric 15 in an overlapping manner. Further, it is preferable to dispose the liquid diffusive sheet 18 between the upper layer 16 and the lower layer 17, and the deodorant may be transferred to the liquid diffusable sheet 18.

In order to obtain the excrement absorbing sheet for pets of the present invention, for example, first, a mixture of the fibrous absorbent body 21 and the water absorbent resin A22 is stacked on the thin paper 23, and the liquid diffusibility is further formed thereon. Place the sheet 18. Next, a mixture of the fibrous absorbent body 20 and the water absorbent resin B19 is stacked on the liquid diffusive sheet 18, and the thin paper 15 is placed thereon. Further, the back sheet 13 is disposed under the thin paper 23, the edges of the back sheet 13 and the thin paper 23 are folded back, the resin film 14 is placed thereon, and glue, hot melt adhesive, heat fusion, or the like is used. The surrounding area is adhered to form a pet excreta absorbing sheet.

According to the excrement absorbent sheet for pets of the present invention, since the absorbent body is a mixture of the water absorbent resin and the fibrous absorbent body, the water absorbent resin is arranged separately in the absorbent body and swells. However, blocking is less likely to occur, the urine retention is improved, and it can be used for a long time.
Moreover, since the absorption rate of the water absorbent resin A used for the lower layer is faster than the water absorbent resin B used for the upper layer, urine is retained from the lower layer side of the absorber, and maintains the absorption rate even after long-term use, In addition, urine reversion was prevented.
Furthermore, by arranging a liquid diffusable sheet between the upper layer and the lower layer of the absorber, it becomes possible to diffuse urine in the excreta absorbent sheet for pets. Therefore, even if the same place is used, urine spreads to other parts, and long-term use is possible. In addition, since the liquid diffusive sheet is disposed within the pet excreta absorbing sheet, it is possible to prevent the urine from being reversed during use.
In addition, since a deodorant is used in the pet excreta absorbent sheet, it can be used more hygienically for a long time.

[Water absorption speed of water absorbent resin]
First, 50 g of 0.9 mass% NaCl aqueous solution was put into a 100 mL beaker. A stirrer chip was placed in the beaker and rotated at 600 rpm, and it was confirmed that the aqueous solution generated vortices. While rotating the aqueous solution, 2 g of the water-absorbing resin was put into a beaker, and the time taken for the vortex of the aqueous solution to disappear and the liquid surface to become horizontal was measured to obtain the absorption rate.

Figure 2009232684
Figure 2009232684

As shown in Table 1, in the samples molded in Examples 1 to 6, both the upper layer and the lower layer of the absorber are a mixture of a fibrous absorber and a water absorbent resin, and the water absorbent resin used for the lower layer Since the water absorption rate of A was faster than that of the water absorbent resin B used for the upper layer, a sample that maintained the absorption rate and had little reversal even when measured over a long period of time was obtained.
Among them, Examples 1, 2 and 4 in which the mass ratio of the water absorbent resin B to the water absorbent resin A (water absorbent resin B / water absorbent resin A) is in the range of 7/4 to 5/8 have good results. Has been obtained.
Moreover, when Example 1 and Example 6 which differ only in the presence or absence of a liquid diffusable sheet are compared, Example 1 which has sandwiched the liquid diffusible sheet between the upper layer and the lower layer repeatedly tested from the same place. Even when the test was performed, the liquid diffused inside and long-term measurement was possible. On the other hand, in Example 6 in which the liquid diffusive sheet was not used, the liquid did not spread within the sample, and a tendency to reverse somewhat was observed.

[Comparative Example 8]
A thin paper (basis weight 15 g / m 2 ) 30 × 40 cm 2 was used instead of the fibrous absorber used for the upper layer, and a sample was molded in the same manner as in Example 2 except that the water absorbent resin B was granulated. Evaluation was performed. The results are shown in Table 2.

Figure 2009232684
Figure 2009232684

In Comparative Examples 1 to 3, in either the upper layer or the lower layer of the absorbent body, the fibrous absorbent body and the water absorbent resin were not mixed, and the water absorbent resin was only granulated on the fibrous absorbent body. As a result, the water-absorbing resin did not fall apart and swelled into a lump to prevent the liquid from being absorbed. Thus, good results in both absorption speed and reversibility were not obtained.
In Comparative Example 4, since the water absorption rate of the upper layer water-absorbent resin was faster than the lower layer, the absorption rate was good at first, but the liquid did not migrate to the lower layer but was absorbed only in the upper layer, so The liquid could not be absorbed, and finally, good results were not obtained in both absorption speed and reversibility. Similarly, in Comparative Example 7, the water absorption rate of the upper water-absorbent resin was set to be faster than that of the lower layer, so that no liquid was transferred to the lower layer, and good results in both absorption rate and reversibility were not obtained.
In Comparative Examples 5 and 6, since the fibrous absorber and the water absorbent resin were mixed only in the upper layer and the water absorbent resin was not used in the lower layer, the holding power was inferior, and good results were not obtained in both the absorption rate and the reversibility. .
In Comparative Example 8, since the water-absorbing resin was dispersed on the thin paper as the upper layer, the water-absorbing resin immediately swelled and became a lump and prevented the absorption of the liquid, and both the absorption speed and reversibility were good. The result was not obtained.
