Description

The present invention relates to a cushion body including a pillow, a cushion, a cushion and the like.

Conventionally, in this type of cushion, those using foamed synthetic resin particles called beads and those using foamed urethane have been developed and commercialized. In addition, a product using urethane foam is usually a molded product of urethane foam, but a pulverized fine product is also used.

The size of the foamed synthetic resin particles used for the cushion body is generally 0.1 mm to several millimeters in diameter. And, since the particles are less sticky and have high fluidity, they adapt immediately to the human body. The finer the particles, the better the feel when used as a cushion and the better the body, the better. However, when fine particles of about 0.1 mm to 2 mm are used for the cushion body, there are the following disadvantages.
1) Since the fluidity of the particles is high, it is difficult to obtain a sense of stability that supports the human body.
2) The part of the human body touching the cushion body is heated. This is a major drawback for pillows for which head cold foot heat is preferred.
3) The bubbles existing in the particles are destroyed or the shape is deformed by long-term use, so that the volume feeling and cushioning property of the cushion body are lowered, and so-called “sagging” occurs.

A product obtained by pulverizing a low-resilience synthetic resin typified by low-resilience urethane has a sticky surface, and the particles themselves have high elasticity. For this reason, when the cushion body is pushed by the human body, it is possible to obtain a sense of stability that it slowly deforms and supports the human body. Further, since it is not a foam, there is no destruction of bubbles, and “sagging” does not occur even after long-term use.
However, since it takes a relatively long time to deform the cushion (especially, it does not respond well to lateral pressure movement), when used as a pillow, it cannot instantly follow changes in the head position such as turning over and feel There is a disadvantage of worsening.

Japanese Unexamined Patent Application Publication No. 2004-180903 discloses a cushion body in which urethane chips (low-resilience synthetic resin) and foam beads (foamed synthetic resin particles) are mixed and filled in an outer bag.
An object of the present invention is to prevent foam chips from contacting each other by interposing foam beads between cuboid urethane chips and to improve the deformability of a cushion body in which only urethane chips are packed.
JP 2004-180903 A

An object of the present invention is to eliminate the disadvantages of lack of stability, heat, and the occurrence of sag while maintaining the advantage that the foamed synthetic resin particles are easy to adapt to the human body.

In the cushion body of the present invention, a cushion body filled with foamed synthetic resin particles and pulverized low-resilience synthetic resin particles in an outer bag, and the weight ratio of the pulverized low-resilience synthetic resin particles is larger than that of the foamed synthetic resin particles. Fill with a small amount.
The weight ratio of the pulverized low-resilience synthetic resin particles is preferably 20% to 40%, more preferably 30% to 40% (Claim 2). The size of the foamed synthetic resin particles is preferably 0.1 mm to 2.0 mm in diameter, particularly 0.5 mm to 0.8 mm in diameter (Claim 3), and the size of the pulverized low resilience synthetic resin particles is 0 mm in diameter. .1 mm to 3.0 mm, especially 0.1 mm to 1.5 mm in diameter is preferred.
The material of the foamed synthetic resin particles may be any of those conventionally used as cushion beads, such as polystyrene and polyethylene. Polystyrene is particularly preferable, and the expansion ratio is preferably about 50 times (Claim 5).
The material of the pulverized low-resilience synthetic resin particles may be any of those conventionally used for cushions, such as polyurethane, silicon, and polypropylene. Polyurethane is particularly preferable (claim 6).

According to this device, since the foamed synthetic resin particles and the pulverized low-resilience synthetic resin particles are mixed, the following effects can be obtained.
1) Due to the high fluidity of the foamed synthetic resin particles, the speed of fitting to the human body and the elasticity of the pulverized low-resilience resin, the feeling of support and stability without sinking too much compared to the case of the foamed synthetic resin particles alone. Is obtained. Further, the slowness of fitting as in the case of the low-resilience resin alone, particularly the slowness of following the human body when moving in the lateral direction is eliminated.
2) Inside the cushion body, the pulverized low-resilience resin particles function as a buffer material for the foamed synthetic resin particles. Therefore, the destruction and deformation of the bubbles of the foamed synthetic resin particles are prevented, and the sag is less likely to occur.
3) Since the ratio of the foamed synthetic resin particles that easily generate heat is reduced, the human body is less likely to feel heat.

The outer bag 1 having a square shape in plan view is filled with expanded polystyrene beads 2 having an expansion ratio of 50 times and a diameter of 0.5 mm as expanded synthetic resin particles and polyurethane particles 3 as pulverized low-resilience synthetic resin particles. The polyurethane particles 3 are obtained by pulverizing a polyurethane resin with a pulverizer to a predetermined size (diameter of about 0.1 to 0.3 mm).
The weight ratio between the expanded polystyrene beads 2 and the polyurethane particles 3 is 7: 3.

Figure 2009225922
When the cushion body (sample 1) configured as described above and the cushion body (sample 2) filled only with expanded polystyrene beads were subjected to a comparative test by the Japan Chemical Fiber Inspection Association, the results shown in Table 1 were obtained. (Report No. CK-90004).
Figure 2009225922

From the above test results, the product of the present invention mixed with polyurethane particles has a hardness about twice that of the cushion body filled only with polystyrene beads, and the thickness reduction rate when the same weight is applied. Can also be understood.
In other words, it can be said that in the product of the present invention, when used, the sense of stability for supporting the body is significantly higher than that of the cushion body filled with only polystyrene beads.

The present invention provides a feeling of stability in use that cannot be obtained with a cushion filled only with foamed synthetic resin particles, and a cushion filled with only a low-resilience synthetic resin chip, or a small amount of foamed synthetic resin mainly composed of low-resilience synthetic resin Deformability that cannot be obtained by a cushion in which particles are mixed can be obtained and has industrial applicability.
