2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, a sheet post-processing apparatus (stacker) that is provided integrally or separately in a so-called image forming apparatus such as a copying machine, a printer, or a facsimile machine and loads a large amount of sheets discharged from the image forming apparatus has been used. JP 2006-347635 A

When a large amount of sheets (sheets after printing) is loaded on the carriage, for example, a stack of 5000 sheets has a height of about 50 cm. For this reason, when moving to a place where a large amount of paper is loaded on the trolley, other paper processing may occur due to the operation of the trolley at a corner or the impact caused by getting over a step on the floor, etc. There was a problem that occurred. This problem also occurs in Patent Document 1. SUMMARY An advantage of some aspects of the invention is that it provides a sheet post-processing apparatus and an image forming apparatus that suppress misalignment and collapse of stacked sheets caused by movement of a carriage.

A sheet post-processing apparatus according to the present invention stacks sheets discharged from an external apparatus on a stacking tray placed on a carriage, and the carriage is pulled out together with the stacking tray. The carriage is provided with a vertical column and a horizontal column, and a stacked paper pressing member that presses the uppermost surface of the sheet on the stacking tray is rotatably provided with respect to the horizontal column. Further, the loaded paper pressing member is provided so as to be movable to the left and right with respect to the horizontal column.

An image forming apparatus according to the present invention is connected to a sheet post-processing apparatus, and conveys discharged sheets to the sheet post-processing apparatus.

According to the present invention, the carriage is provided with the vertical column and the horizontal column, and the loading paper pressing member that presses the top surface of the paper on the stacking tray is rotatably provided with respect to the horizontal column. Can be achieved, and the misalignment and collapse of the loaded paper caused by the movement of the carriage can be reliably suppressed. In addition, when removing the loaded paper from the carriage, it is necessary to return the loaded paper presser member to the original position outside the paper stacking range on the tray (a predetermined position when the stacked paper presser is not used). When stacking, it is possible to prevent deterioration of stackability due to forgetting to return the loaded paper pressing member, and it is possible to prevent the loss of the loaded paper pressing member because it is a small space and integrated with the carriage. Become.

Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 shows an example of a schematic configuration of a copying system including a sheet stacking apparatus (stacker) B as a sheet post-processing apparatus and an image forming apparatus A according to an embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 2 shows an example of a schematic configuration of the paper stacking apparatus B. 2A shows a state in which the paper P is received from the image forming apparatus A (not shown), and FIG. 2B shows a carriage unit E which will be described later after the paper P is loaded and JOB ends. The state which can be taken out from an apparatus is shown.

As shown in FIG. 2, the paper P transported from the image forming apparatus A to the paper stacking apparatus B is transported and discharged onto the paper stacking section by the transport rollers 1 to 4 and stacked. The sheet stacking unit includes an upper sheet stacking unit C and a mass stacking unit D (main stacking unit), and the discharge destination of the sheet P is switched by the operation of the branching claw 5 in the transport path.

The mass stacking section D has a stacking tray 6 on which the discharged paper P is stacked, a lifting tray 7 on which the stacking tray 6 is mounted and moved up and down by a tray lifting / lowering means (not shown) and moved up and down to move the stacking tray 6 up and down. When the lifting frame 7 reaches the lower limit due to the end of JOB, the carriage unit E receives the stacking tray 6, separates the lifting frame 7 and the stacking tray 6, and removes the stacking tray 6 with the paper P loaded from the apparatus. Have Further, in order to stack the discharged paper P satisfactorily, a paper surface detection sensor 8 for making the height of the stacking tray 6 (paper receiving height) substantially constant is provided. Furthermore, in order to improve the stacking state, a sheet aligning unit (jogger unit) may be provided in the sheet stacking unit (not shown).

3A and 3B are diagrams showing a configuration example of the carriage E, where FIG. 3A is a front view showing the overall configuration, and FIG. 3B is a side view. FIG. 4 is an enlarged view showing an example of the lock member 15 portion of the vertical column 11 and the horizontal column 12, wherein (a) shows when the lock is released, and (b) shows when it is locked. FIGS. 5A and 5B are enlarged views showing an example of the lock member 15 portion of the horizontal support column 12 and the stacked paper pressing member 13, where FIG. 5A is a lock release state, FIG. 5B is a lock state, and FIG. 5C is a perspective view. The stacked paper pressing member 13 is a plate-like member. FIG. 6 shows a case where the direction of the handle portion G of the vertical support 11 is changed, and shows that the lateral movement range of the stacked paper pressing member 13 is expanded and the paper pressing range is expanded without increasing the outer size of the carriage. Yes.

As shown in FIGS. 3-6, the trolley | bogie part E by embodiment of this invention has the mounting base 9, the caster 10 provided in the lower four corners of this mounting base 9, the opening F in the upper part, and is for trolley operation. The handle portion G is shared, and provided with two substantially parallel vertical struts 11 provided vertically from the upper surface of the mounting table 9 and a horizontal strut 12 that is movably moved up and down between the vertical struts 11. . The horizontal strut 12 is provided with a loaded paper sheet pressing member 13 that can be rotated and moved left and right. By making the length of the stacked paper presser member 13 longer from the vertical support 11 than the paper transport center of the apparatus, paper presser can be performed regardless of the paper size. A guide member 14 and a guide member 15 with a lock are provided to attach the vertical column 11 and the horizontal column 12, and the horizontal column 12 can move up and down freely. Further, the locking guide member 15 can fix the horizontal strut 12 to an arbitrary position of the vertical strut 11 by rotating the lever 16 by 90 °.

Similarly, when the horizontal strut 12 and the stacked paper pressing member 13 are attached, a guide member 15 with a lock is provided so that the stacked paper pressing member 13 can be fixed to an arbitrary position with respect to the horizontal strut 12. As a result, it is possible to more reliably realize the pressing of the stacked sheets. As described above, the stacked paper presser member 13 is provided so as to be rotatable and movable left and right, so that the stacked paper presser can be pressed regardless of the height and length of the stacked paper. In addition, a front end storage portion 17 of the stacked sheet pressing member 13 is formed in a concave groove shape immediately below or near the lateral support column 12 outside the sheet stacking range of the mounting table 9. Thus, when the lock is released, the leading end of the stacked paper pressing member 13 hangs down due to its own weight and is stored in the groove, so that the stacked paper pressing member 13 interferes with the discharged stacked paper during operation of the apparatus. It is possible to prevent the deterioration of stackability and machine troubles such as JAM.

7 to 10 show an example of an operation method of using the stacked paper pressing member 13. Each figure (a) is a front view, and (b) is a side view. FIG. 7 shows a state where the carriage E is empty. FIG. 8 shows a state in which the loaded paper H is loaded on the carriage E in the paper stacking apparatus B. When the carriage E is pulled out of the apparatus from this state, first, as shown in FIG. 9, the stacked paper pressing member 13 is lifted and rotated as shown by an arrow a to be in a substantially horizontal state, and then loaded as shown by an arrow b. The sheet pressing member 13 is raised together with the locking guide member 15. From this state, as shown in FIG. 10, the stacked sheet pressing member 13 is rotated by approximately 180 ° as indicated by an arrow c to lock the stacked sheet H so that the uppermost surface of the stacked sheets H is suppressed. Accordingly, even when the carriage unit E is pulled out of the apparatus together with the loading tray or moved, even if the carriage unit E shakes or vibrates, the loaded paper H can be prevented from being displaced or collapsed. .

According to the present embodiment, the vertical support 11 and the horizontal support 12 are provided in the carriage E, and the stacked paper pressing member 13 that presses the uppermost surface of the paper stacked on the stacking tray 6 is rotated with respect to the horizontal support 12. By providing it freely, it is possible to reliably hold the loaded paper H on the uppermost surface of the loaded paper with a simple operation, thereby suppressing misalignment or collapse of the loaded paper due to shaking or vibration during movement of the carriage E. It becomes possible. When removing the loaded paper H from the carriage E, it is necessary to return the loaded paper pressing member 13 to the original position outside the paper stacking range on the tray (a predetermined position when the stacked paper presser is not used). As a result, when the sheets are stacked next time, it is possible to prevent deterioration of stackability due to forgetting to return the stacked sheet pressing member 13. Further, since the space is small and it is integrated with the carriage, it is possible to prevent the loaded paper pressing member 13 from being lost.

In addition, since the loaded paper presser member 13 is provided so as to be movable to the left and right with respect to the horizontal column 12, it is possible to realize a presser near the center of the loaded paper with a simple operation regardless of the size of the loaded paper H. Further, it is possible to suppress the displacement or collapse of the loaded paper H that occurs due to the movement of the carriage E. Furthermore, the horizontal struts 12 can freely move up and down along the vertical struts 11, so that the pressing of the loaded paper H can be realized with a simple operation regardless of the amount (height) of the loaded paper H. Deviation and collapse of the loaded paper H that occur can be suppressed.

Also, by sharing the vertical column 11 with the operation handle G of the carriage, it is possible to prevent the addition of parts, to suppress the cost increase, and to shift or collapse the loaded paper H generated by the movement of the carriage E in a small space. Can be suppressed. Further, by providing the vertical support 11 with an opening F for rotating the stacked paper pressing member 13, the size of the parts can be increased without increasing the height of the handle portion of the carriage E more than necessary. It is possible to prevent an increase in cost and to hold the loaded paper H with good operability, and to suppress the deviation and collapse of the loaded paper H caused by the movement of the carriage E.

Further, by providing the guide member 15 with a lock for the rotation operation of the loaded paper pressing member 13 with respect to the horizontal column 12 and / or the vertical operation of the horizontal column 12 with respect to the vertical column 11, or both operations, it is more surely powerful. It is possible to realize the stacked paper presser by the stacked paper presser member 13 and to suppress the shift and collapse of the stacked paper H generated by the movement of the carriage E. Further, by providing the leading end storage portion 17 of the stacked paper pressing member 13 at a position outside the paper stacking range of the stacking tray 6 or the carriage unit E, the stacked paper pressing member 13 during operation of the paper device can be discharged. Deterioration of stackability due to interference and machine troubles such as JAM can be prevented.
