すなわち、図示実施例においては、筒形ヒューズ1の両端に配してその導電キャップ2にかしめ止めしたL形端子3に対し、図2(a),(b)で示すように端子3の起立部板面には左右二カ所に分けて小径なダボ穴3aをあらかじめ形成しておく。なお、このダボ穴3aは貫通穴,あるいは凹状の窪み穴のいずれでもよい。一方、溶断表示装置4を筒形ヒューズ1に組み付ける際に用いる取付板5は、バネ性を有する導電板(例えば、ステンレス板)を図3に示す形状に成形した板金加工品になる。ここで、取付板5の上端側には溶断表示装置4の導電キャップ4aに嵌着する円弧状のクリップ部を形成し、ここからL字形に屈曲して側方に延在する脚片部5aには前記ダボ穴3aに位置を合わせて左右に並ぶダボ状突起5bが叩き出し形成されている。なお、この取付板5は、筒形ヒューズ1への取付け位置に対応して前部用と後部用の2種類を用意しておく。
そして、筒形ヒューズ1に溶断表示装置4を組み付ける際には、前記取付板5の脚片部5aを筒形ヒューズ1の前後側からL形端子3の起立部端面に重ね合わせ、ここでダボ状突起5bをL形端子3に形成したダボ穴3aに嵌め合わせて圧入する。次に、筒形ヒューズ1の前後端に結合した2枚の取付板5の間に跨がってクリップ部に溶断表示装置4を嵌挿し、その両端に配した導電キャップ4aに取付板5のクリップ部を嵌着して導電結合する。これにより、溶断表示装置4が取付板5を介して筒形ヒューズ1の側方に並列接続状態で組み付けられることになる。
