溶融状態にある像が形成された像形成面を有する記録材を搬送する無端ベルト状の第1搬送ベルトと、
前記第1搬送ベルトに載せられて前記像形成面が無接触の状態で所定の距離にわたり搬送されてきた前記記録材を、当該第1搬送ベルトと挟持して搬送する無端ベルト状の第2搬送ベルトと、
前記第1搬送ベルト又は前記第2搬送ベルトを介して、前記記録材を冷却する冷却手段と
を備えたことを特徴とする記録材冷却装置。
