Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a method for producing metal nanoparticles.
The metal nanoparticles are particles composed of a limited number of metal atoms having a particle size of nanometer, that is, a size of 10 −9 m. Such metal nanoparticles have a very large surface area per unit mass, and therefore the surface is very active. Furthermore, metal nanoparticles have characteristics such as catalytic action and conductivity depending on the type of metal, and are expected to be applied in various fields in the future. In particular, when used as a main material for forming an electronic wiring, it is possible to increase the speed and density of an electronic component, and this metal nanoparticle is attracting attention.
As a method for producing metal nanoparticles, for example, a production method using hexachloroplatinic acid as a raw material is known (for example, see Non-Patent Document 1). According to this production method, rod-shaped metal nanoparticles of cobalt, copper, nickel and noble metal can be produced. However, this production method has a drawback that the yield of the obtained metal nanoparticles varies greatly depending on the amount of a protective substance such as polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) for obtaining metal nanoparticles and the reaction temperature.
Also known are methods for producing various forms of metal nanoparticles such as rods and cuboids using AgNO 3 and PVP as raw materials (see, for example, Non-Patent Document 2). However, this production method has a drawback that the yield of the obtained metal nanoparticles varies greatly depending on many conditions such as the ratio of AgNO 3 and PVP as raw materials and the amount of the catalyst material.
Then, this invention is a method of manufacturing a metal nanoparticle, Comprising: It aims at obtaining the manufacturing method which can adjust the yield and the form of the particle | grains obtained easily.

The polyvinylpyrrolidone (product name: PVP K90, weight average molecular weight 360,000) 0.03M and HAuCl 4 0.008M was dissolved in ethylene glycol (6 mL) by stirring at 25 ° C. for 10 minutes, and the first solution was dissolved. Prepared. Also, an ethylene glycol solution of NaNO 3 (0.001M, 6.5 mL) was stirred and heated at 150 ° C. for 10 minutes. The first solution (6 mL) and the second solution (6.5 mL) were mixed and then heated at 150 ° C. for 1.5 hours. During mixing, the molar ratio of PVP, HAuCl 4 , NaNO 3 and ethylene glycol is PVP: HAuCl 4 : NaNO 3 : ethylene glycol = 3.7: 1: 0.135: 889. Further, when ethylene glycol is used as a solvent during mixing, the concentrations of PVP, HAuCl 4 and NaNO 3 are 0.014M, 0.0038M and 5.2 × 10 −4 M. Thereafter, the mixed solution was allowed to stand at 150 ° C. for 1 hour, and the obtained precipitate was isolated by centrifugation. The precipitate was dried under normal pressure to obtain gold nanoparticles. A scanning electron microscope (SEM) image of the obtained nanoparticles is shown in FIG. As shown in FIG. 16, according to the manufacturing method of this invention, it has confirmed that a sheet-like gold nanoparticle could be manufactured.
It can also be applied to catalyst production applications.
