本発明に係る数本からなる放電管をグローブで覆った形状の電球形蛍光ランプにおける構造の実施形態につき、その実施例を挙げて、添付図面を参照しながら以下詳細に説明する。図１は、グローブ側面の一部分に平面部を設けた電球形蛍光ランプの一例図である。図１において、参照符号１はグローブ、２はグローブ平面部、３は回路内蔵ハウジングソケット、４は口金である。図１に示すような電球形蛍光ランプは、グローブに設けた平面部を下にして置くことにより、安定して静止状態を保持することができ、転がることを防止できる。
図２は、グローブ側面の一部分に楕円形状の平面部を設けた電球形蛍光ランプの一例図である。グローブ表面に設ける平面部または凹面部は多角形状でもよい。
図３は、グローブ側面の一部分に平面部を設けた電球形蛍光ランプの安定静止状態の一例図である。図３において、参照符号５は、平面台である。グローブ側面の一部分に設けた平面部を下にして平面台に置くことにより、転がり防止を実現できる。
