Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent rolling and breaking a compact self-ballasted fluorescent lamp, when it is placed on a flat face such as a desk, since it is so unstable so that there is a possibility of rolling, falling and breaking, and especially, when the compact self-ballasted fluorescent lamp is replaced, a work at a high place occurs so that the one attached to or removed from a lighting fixture has to be temporarily kept in a stable state.
SOLUTION: In the compact self-ballasted fluorescent lamp of a shape covering the discharge tube with a globe, one or a plurality of planar sections are provided at a part on a globe surface. The one or the plurality of planar sections are provided as a rolling prevention means.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT

Description

The present invention relates to a structure of a bulb-type fluorescent lamp having a discharge tube covered with a globe.

In general, the globe of a bulb-type fluorescent lamp having a shape in which several discharge tubes are covered with a globe has a spherical shape in order to bring the shape closer to that of a general bulb.

For this reason, when a light bulb shaped fluorescent lamp is placed on a flat surface such as a desk, it may be unstable and fall and be damaged. In particular, when replacing the bulb-type fluorescent lamp, work at a high place occurs, so the bulb-type fluorescent lamp attached to or removed from the lighting fixture may be temporarily placed in a stable state.

In the structure of a bulb-type fluorescent lamp having a shape in which several discharge tubes according to the present invention are covered with a globe, a flat portion or a concave portion is provided on a part or a plurality of portions of the globe surface. As a result, when the bulb-type fluorescent lamp is placed on a flat surface, the stationary state can be stably maintained by the flat surface portion or the concave surface portion provided on the globe surface.

As will be apparent from the examples described later, by constructing a light bulb shaped fluorescent lamp having a flat surface or a concave surface on a part of the side surface of the globe according to the present invention, before the work of attaching the light bulb shaped fluorescent lamp to the lighting fixture, In addition, it is possible to prevent the bulb-type fluorescent lamp from being rolled and damaged when the bulb-type fluorescent lamp is stably placed temporarily after the work is removed from the lighting fixture.

It is an example of the side view of the light bulb-type fluorescent lamp which provided the globe plane part. It is an example figure of the front view of the bulb-type fluorescent lamp which provided the globe plane part. It is an example figure of the stable stationary state of the light bulb-type fluorescent lamp provided with the globe plane part. It is an example figure of the lightbulb-type fluorescent lamp which provided the several globe plane part.

Embodiments of a structure of a bulb-type fluorescent lamp having a shape in which a plurality of discharge tubes according to the present invention are covered with a globe will be described below in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. FIG. 1 is an example of a bulb-type fluorescent lamp in which a flat portion is provided on a part of a side surface of a globe. In FIG. 1, reference numeral 1 is a globe, 2 is a glove flat surface portion, 3 is a housing socket with a built-in circuit, and 4 is a base. The bulb-type fluorescent lamp as shown in FIG. 1 can be stably held in a stationary state and prevented from rolling by placing the flat part provided on the globe downward.
FIG. 2 is an example of a bulb-type fluorescent lamp in which an elliptical flat portion is provided on a part of the side surface of the globe. The flat surface or concave surface provided on the surface of the globe may be polygonal.
FIG. 3 is an example of a stable stationary state of a bulb-type fluorescent lamp in which a flat portion is provided on a part of the side surface of the globe. In FIG. 3, reference numeral 5 is a flat table. Rolling prevention can be realized by placing the flat part provided on a part of the side of the globe on a flat table with the flat part facing down.
FIG. 4 is an example of a bulb-type fluorescent lamp in which a plurality of elliptical flat portions are provided on the side surface of the globe. In FIG. 4, reference numerals 6, 7, and 8 are a plurality of globe plane portions, respectively.
