Description

The present invention relates to a cushioning device for folding doors installed in furniture such as sink cabinets and hanging cabinets, or furniture such as cupboards and bookcases, and more particularly, brakes rapid rotation between door plates when closing folding doors. The present invention relates to a shock absorber.

The folding door is provided with at least two door plates, and the adjacent door plates are connected to each other via a hinge so as to be rotatable in the horizontal direction, and the upper end portion of the door plate is moved to a rail laid above the runner via a runner. By being supported freely, the door plates are structured to open and close while rotating.

As described above, the folding door opens and closes while the door plates rotate, so that when the door is closed, the door plates abut against the left and right door frames and the crest surfaces of the door plates abut against each other. For this reason, when the door is suddenly rotated to the end when the folding door is closed, a large impact sound or vibration is generated. Repeated application of this impact to the folding door or door frame causes the parts to be damaged or deteriorated earlier. There is also a problem peculiar to folding doors, in which the doorboard once closed to the end bounces off due to an impact, and the doorboards are folded in a semi-closed state. In order to solve this type of problem, it is effective to brake the sudden rotation of the door plates when the folding door is closed.

(特許文献1)   Conventionally, as a technique for braking sudden rotation when closing the door plate, the inner side surface portion of the door frame (door) to which the door plate (door) is attached via a hinge is brought into contact with the wooden face of the door plate (door). 2. Description of the Related Art An embedded damper that exerts a force that brakes the rotation of a door plate (door) is known. This type of damper includes, in a cylinder embedded in the door frame (側面), a piston that protrudes and protrudes from the inner side surface of the door frame (框) and a restoring spring that biases the piston to the side that always protrudes. Just before the door) is completely closed, the door end of the door plate (door) comes into contact with the piston, and the piston is pushed against the repulsive force of the restoring spring. ). (Patent Document 1)

However, the sudden rotation of the door plate (door) when the door plate (door) is closed is braked by bringing the wood face of the door plate (door) into contact with the piston of the damper device embedded in the door frame (框). When the door plate (door) is extremely closed, that is, when the door plate (door) is not close to being completely closed, the braking force by the damper cannot be applied to the door plate (door). In order to advance the timing at which the braking force by the damper acts, it is necessary to increase the protruding length of the piston from the inner side surface of the door frame (框) and to increase the stroke. This means that a longer damper is required, and the mounting hole for embedding the damper accordingly needs to be larger.

The damper 71 includes a cylindrical damper main body 71a and a damper pin (output shaft) 71b that protrudes from the end of the damper main body 71a and moves back and forth in the horizontal direction (see FIG. 7). In the body 71a of the damper 71, a coil spring (elastic body) (not shown) that generates a repulsive force against the force acting in the direction in which the damper 71 is compressed, that is, the direction in which the damper pin 71b is pushed into the body 71a. And an oil damper (buffer body) (not shown) for buffering a sudden movement of the damper pin 71b.

The second base member 92 is formed with an accommodating portion (damper holding portion) 72 that accommodates the braking mechanism 70. The accommodating part 72 has an accommodating space surrounded by a cylindrical side wall extending in the horizontal direction. The side wall of the housing portion 72 on the side overlapping the first mounting member 61 bulges out from the base of the second base member 92 in a dome shape. Both end portions 72 a and 72 b of the accommodating portion 72 are open, and the braking mechanism 70 is inserted into the accommodating space from the opening end portion 72 a on the end side facing the first attachment member 61.

The other open end 72b of the accommodating portion 72 is closed by a damper holding position adjusting cap 72e. The portion of the accommodating portion 72 where the cap 72e is attached is thicker than the other portions, and a female screw portion 72d is formed on the inner wall of the portion. On the other hand, a male screw portion 72f is formed on the outer peripheral portion of the body portion of the cap 72e. By screwing the male screw portion 72f with the female screw portion 72d of the storage portion 72, the cap 72e is fitted to the opening end portion 72b of the storage portion 72. Is installed. A disc-shaped end plate portion 72g for closing the cap 72e is formed on the outer end of the cap 72e. The outer peripheral edge portion of the end plate portion 72g slightly protrudes outward from the body portion of the cap 72e, and a knob portion 72h is formed by providing unevenness for preventing slippage in that portion. The holding position in the horizontal direction of the brake mechanism 70 can be finely adjusted by adjusting the amount of screwing of the cap 72e with respect to the accommodating portion 72 by adjusting the knob 72h with a finger and rotating the cap 72e. That is, the damper holding position adjusting mechanism is configured by the female screw portion 72d formed on the inner wall of the housing portion 72 and the cap 72e screwed to the female screw portion 72d. By increasing the screwing amount of the cap 72e, the braking mechanism 70 is increased. The holding position of the braking mechanism 70 can be displaced further away from the first mounting member 61 if the screwing amount of the cap 72e is reduced. It can be made to.

The first attachment member 61 is formed with a recess 91e that receives the housing portion 72 and the contact member 73 when the attachment members 61 and 62 are both turned to the side where the folding door 10 is opened and folded.

The abutting member 73 is a cap-shaped member that is attached to the damper main body 71a so as to be covered from the side opposite to the damper pin 71b and whose tip is closed. The damper main body 71 a is completely accommodated in the contact member 73. The abutting member 73 is inserted into the accommodating portion 72 so as to be slidable in the horizontal direction, and moves together with the damper main body 71a while being accommodated. The base end of the contact member 73, that is, the end on the side where the damper pin 71b is provided, is slidably inserted into the cap 72e constituting the damper holding position adjusting mechanism. The damper pin 71b protrudes from the proximal end of the contact member 73, and the protruding end abuts the inner surface of the end plate portion 72g of the cap 72e.

The shape and size of the tip 73a of the contact member 73 are selected so that the contact member 73 contacts the side edge 91f of the first base member 91 on the second mounting member 62 side at a predetermined timing when the folding door 10 is closed. Has been. Then, the contact member 73 is pressed by the first base member 91 with the mutual rotation of the mounting members 61 and 62 when the folding door 10 is closed, and moves to the cap 72e side together with the damper main body 71a. The damper 71 is compressed between the member 73 and the cap 72e. When the folding door 10 is completely closed, the damper 71 is in the most compressed state. At this time, the damper pin 71b is almost completely buried in the contact member 73.

A pair of guide protrusions 73c and 73d are formed in the vicinity of the rear end of the contact member 73 so as to protrude vertically. On the other hand, the second base member 92 is formed with guide grooves (not shown) that receive the guide protrusions 73c and 73d and guide the guide protrusions 73c and 73d so as to be slidable in the horizontal direction. The guide protrusions 73c and 73d are guided in a guide groove (not shown), thereby preventing the contact member 73 from rotating and rattling with respect to the second base member 92.

A small protrusion 73e is formed on the front surface of the contact member 73. On the other hand, an elongated hole 73 i extending in the horizontal direction (sliding direction of the contact member 73) is formed in the accommodating portion 72 so as to penetrate the wall of the accommodating portion 72. The small protrusion 73e of the contact member 73 is located in the long hole 73i of the housing portion 72, and is visible from the outside of the housing portion 72 through the long hole 73i. That is, the holding position of the braking mechanism 70 can be almost confirmed by the position of the protrusion 73e. Further, the protrusion 73e is in contact with the end of the long hole 73i, thereby preventing the contact member 73 from coming off.

FIG. 11 is a partial perspective view showing a series of states when the folding door device 1 is opened and closed, and FIG. 12 is a partial plan view. 11 and 12, (a) is a state in which the folding door 10 is fully open, and when the folding door 10 is closed from this state, the state of (d), that is, the folding door 10 is in the state of (b) and (c). When the folding angle reaches approximately 125 degrees, the catch mechanisms of the hinges 21, 22, and 23 are operated, and the folding door 10 is forcibly guided to the state (e), that is, the fully closed state by its action. At that time, the braking force by the braking mechanism 70 starts to be effective at a predetermined timing after the operation of the catch mechanisms of the hinges 21, 22, and 23 until the folding door 10 is fully closed. As a result, the folding door 10 is gently guided to the fully closed state while the rapid rotation of the door plates 11 and 12 at the time of closing is braked.

The shock absorber 60 configured as described above can appropriately set the time and timing of the braking force when the folding door 10 is closed without increasing the size of the damper 71 to be used. That is, the shock absorber 60 is equipped with a damper 71 that is compressed and repelled in the horizontal direction on the second mounting member 62 side, and the mounting members 61 and 62 when the contact member 73 mounted on the damper 71 closes the folding door 10. The damper 71 is compressed by being moved together with the damper main body 71a by being pressed by the side edge portion 91f of the first mounting member 61 along with the mutual rotation, and the repulsive force causes a sudden rotation when the folding door 10 is closed. Since it is configured to brake, the shape and dimensions of the contact member 73, the positional relationship between the contact member 73 and the side edge portion 91f of the first mounting member 61, the holding position of the damper 71 in the horizontal direction, and the like. By selecting as appropriate, the time and timing at which the braking force is applied can be appropriately set without making any changes to the damper 71.

Moreover, since the holding position in the horizontal direction of the damper 71 can be finely adjusted by adjusting the screwing amount of the cap 72e into the accommodating portion 72, the time during which the braking force is applied and after the shock absorber 60 is attached to the folding door 10 and Timing can be fine-tuned.

In addition, the shock absorber 60 uses mounting brackets 80 having the same shape, the same dimensions, and the same metal material as the mounting brackets of both mounting members, so that any one of the shapes, dimensions, and metal materials is different. Compared with the case of using a metal fitting, the number of types of metal parts to be used can be reduced.

Moreover, if the shape and dimension of both attachment members 61 and 62 of this shock absorber 60 are made to correspond to the shape and dimension of both attachment members of hinges 21-23, the hole processing for attaching the hinges 21-23 to the folding door 10 will be carried out. Since the mounting holes 11a and 12a for the shock absorber 60 can be formed by exactly the same processing, the man-hours and costs required for manufacturing the folding door device 1 can be reduced. On the other hand, in the above-mentioned prior art, the shape and size of the mounting hole for mounting the damper are different from the shape and size of the mounting hole for mounting the hinge. Therefore, a hole different from the mounting hole for the hinge for mounting the damper is used. It was necessary to carry out processing separately, which hindered the reduction of man-hours and costs.

Further, since the shock absorber 60 itself can function as a hinge, the number of hinges to be used can be reduced by using the shock absorber 60 instead of any of the hinges 21 to 23.

In the above example, the first base member 91 and the second base member 92 are made of resin, but both or one of the base members 91 and 92 may be made of metal. Moreover, it is also possible to use a common member made of another material, for example, a hard resin or ceramic, instead of the mounting bracket 80.
