Description

The present invention relates to an in-vehicle electrical junction box mounted on an automobile, and in particular, regardless of whether or not the optional circuit member is accommodated in a bus bar accommodating portion provided in the electrical junction box. The shared circuit material accommodated on the front side can be held at a predetermined position.

Conventionally, when a common bus bar and an optional bus bar are stacked and accommodated in a bus bar accommodating portion provided in an in-vehicle electrical junction box, as shown in FIG. 9, an optional insulating plate 1 on which an optional bus bar 3 is mounted. The shape and size of the bus bar mounting surface of the shared insulating plate 2 on which the shared bus bar 4 is mounted are substantially the same, and the shared insulating plate 2 is placed and stacked on the upper surface of the optional insulating plate 1 disposed in the lower layer. .

However, the optional bus bar 3 becomes unnecessary depending on the vehicle type and grade. In that case, although the installation height of the shared insulating plate 2 on which the shared bus bar 4 is mounted is lowered by the thickness of the optional insulating plate 1 on which the optional bus bar 3 is mounted, the terminal protruding from the shared bus bar 4 is a case. It is necessary to make the installation height H of the shared bus bar 4 constant in order to connect to the counterpart terminal 5 accommodated in the connector accommodating portion or the relay accommodating portion provided on the side.
Therefore, as shown in FIG. 10 (A), another spacer plate 6 is disposed under the shared insulating plate 2, or the thickness of the optional insulating plate 1 is shown in FIG. 10 (B). It is necessary to use another common insulating plate 7 whose thickness is increased by that amount.
However, both methods require the use of a plurality of insulating plates depending on whether or not the optional bus bar 3 is installed, and there is a problem in that the number of parts increases and the cost increases.

Further, as shown in FIG. 10C, it is also conceivable to secure the connection height H of the shared bus bar 4 by arranging the option insulating plate 1 on which the optional bus bar 3 is not mounted on the lower layer of the shared insulating plate 2. However, since the bus bar accommodating recess 1a of the option insulating plate 1 is hollow, the support of the shared bus bar 4 is insufficient, and the common bus bar 4 is likely to sink downward when mated with the counterpart terminal.

In the case where a bus bar is mounted on an insulating plate and a plurality of layers are laminated, the present applicant has proposed Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 8-322127 (Patent Document 1) as a method for reducing the number of used insulating plates.
Specifically, as shown in FIG. 11, the bus bar A1 is disposed on the upper surface of the upper insulating plate 8, the bus bar A2 is disposed on the lower surface, the bus bar A3 is disposed on the upper surface of the lower insulating plate 9, and the bus bar A4 is disposed on the lower surface. The lower surface of the bus bar A2 on the lower surface side of the upper insulating plate 8 and the lower surface of the lower insulating plate 9 are projected by the projecting portion 8a projecting to the lower surface side of the upper insulating plate 8 and the upper surface side of the lower insulating plate 9. The insulating plate 9 is laminated so that the upper surface of the bus bar A3 on the upper surface side of the insulating plate 9 faces with a predetermined interval T therebetween. Thereby, it is said that it is possible to reduce the cost by reducing the place where at least three insulating plates were conventionally used to stack the four layers of bus bars A1 to A4 to two.
However, the configuration of Patent Document 1 does not take into account the problems that arise from the presence or absence of the optional bus bar, and does not solve the problems.

The present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and in an electrical connection box provided with a bus bar accommodating portion for accommodating a shared bus bar in an upper layer of the optional bus bar, the shared bus bar to be mounted regardless of the presence or absence of the optional bus bar. It is an object to suppress the increase in the number of parts and the associated cost increase by using a common insulating plate while maintaining the height position at a predetermined position.

In order to solve the above-mentioned problem, the present invention is an on-vehicle electrical junction box that houses an insulating plate on which a bus bar is mounted in a bus bar housing portion provided in a case,
A shared insulating plate used in common with other vehicles, and a shared bus bar mounted on the shared insulating plate,
Between the shared insulating plate and the bottom surface of the bus bar housing portion, an accommodation space for an optional bus bar mounted on the optional insulating plate is provided,
While the shared insulating plate is provided with support legs protruding from the outer edge of the bus bar mounting portion and supported by the bottom surface of the bus bar housing portion,
The insulating board for options is provided with a supporting leg that is supported on the bottom surface of the bus bar housing portion at a position different from the supporting leg of the shared insulating board,
The common insulating plate is configured to be supported on the bottom surface of the bus bar accommodating portion regardless of whether or not the optional insulating plate on which the optional bus bar is mounted is installed.

According to the above configuration, the common insulating plate is not directly placed on and supported by the optional insulating plate, but is supported directly by the bottom surface inside the case. An optional insulating plate without an optional bus bar or spacer insulating plate material is placed, or a common insulating plate with a shared bus bar is not replaced with another dedicated insulating plate. The shared bus bar can be held at a predetermined position (height) using an insulating plate.
In this way, even when the optional bus bar is not used, the connection height of the shared bus bar can be secured only with the same shared insulating plate as when the optional bus bar is used. Can be reduced.
In addition, since there is no need to use a plurality of insulating plates depending on whether or not an optional bus bar is installed, the number of parts can be reduced from this point, and the cost can be reduced and the workability can be improved.

The common insulating plate and the optional insulating plate are the same size, and the optional insulating plate is equipped with an optional bus bar only in a part of the region,
The support leg provided on the common insulating plate protrudes to the bottom surface through a notch or / and a through hole provided at a position where the optional bus bar of the optional insulating plate is not mounted.
Alternatively, the option insulating plate is made smaller than the common insulating plate, and the support leg protrudes from a portion where the option insulating plate is not disposed on the lower surface side of the common insulating plate.

In this way, by providing notches and through-holes through which the support legs of the common insulation plate are passed through the option insulation plate, or by making the option insulation plate smaller than the common insulation plate, the support legs of the common insulation plate can be shared and insulated. Not only the outer peripheral part of the plate but also a central part inside the outer peripheral part can be projected. Since these support legs are directly supported on the bottom surface of the bus bar housing portion and can support the shared bus bar mounted on the shared insulating plate, the common bus bar sinks downward when fitting and connecting to the mating terminal. Can be prevented.

The bus bar accommodating portion provided in the case may be an upper space of the printed board fixed in the case, and the bottom surface of the bus bar accommodating portion may be constituted by the surface of the printed board.

As described above, according to the present invention, since the shared insulator mounting the shared bus bar is directly supported by the bottom surface of the bus bar housing portion, the optional bus bar is not mounted even when the optional bus bar is not used. The shared bus bar can be held at a predetermined position (height) by using the same shared insulating plate as that used when the optional bus bar is used, without installing the optional insulator or another spacer insulating plate.
Therefore, in a vehicle type or grade that does not use an optional bus bar, a member disposed below the common insulator is not necessary, and the cost can be reduced. In addition, since there is no need to use a plurality of insulating plates depending on whether or not an optional bus bar is installed, the number of parts can be reduced from this point, and the cost can be suppressed and workability can be improved.

In addition to the outer periphery of the common insulator, the support leg that protrudes from the common insulator is also provided in the center of the inside, so that it can be fitted to the mating terminal regardless of the presence of the optional bus bar and optional insulator. The sinking of the shared bus bar when connecting can be prevented.

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
1 to 5 show an electric junction box 10 for mounting on an automobile according to the present invention.

The electrical connection box 10 accommodates printed circuit boards 20 and 21 in two upper and lower stages inside a case made up of an upper case 11 and a lower case 12, and a bus bar is provided between the upper surface of the upper printed circuit board 21 and the lower surface of the upper case 11. The accommodating part 50 is housed in the bus bar accommodating part 50 by laminating the option insulating plate 18, the option bus bar 16, the common insulating plate 19, and the common bus bar 17 from below.
On the upper surface of the upper case 11, a relay accommodating portion 13, a fuse accommodating portion 14, and a connector accommodating portion 15 are provided, and a relay, a fuse, and a connector (not shown) fitted in the accommodating portions 13, 14, 15 are connected to the upper case 11. The bus bars 16 and 17 and the terminals protruding from the printed circuit board 21 are connected.

As described above, the optional bus bar 16 disposed in the lower layer is a bus bar that is not required depending on the vehicle type or grade, and the shared bus bar 17 disposed in the upper layer is a shared bus bar that is used regardless of the vehicle type or grade. .
The option insulating plate 18 on which the option bus bar 16 is mounted is used only when the option bus bar 16 is used. On the other hand, the shared insulating plate 19 on which the shared bus bar 17 is mounted is used in common with other vehicles regardless of whether the optional bus bar 16 is mounted.

As shown in FIG. 2, printed circuit boards 20 and 21 are positioned and fixed in two upper and lower stages inside the lower case 12, and a bus bar of a shared insulating plate 19 having a shared bus bar 17 mounted on the upper surface of the upper printed circuit board 21. The common insulating plate 19 is supported by contacting the lower end surface of the support leg 24 projecting from the lower surface of the mounting portion 19a. A space S between the bus bar mounting portion 19a of the common insulating plate 19 and the printed circuit board 21 is used as a housing portion for the option insulating plate 18 on which the option bus bar 16 is mounted.

The bus bar mounting portion 18a of the option insulating plate 18 and the bus bar mounting portion 19a of the common insulating plate 19 have the same size as shown in FIG. It is installed only in the division area.
A plurality of notches 22 penetrating up and down are provided on the outer peripheral portion of the bus bar mounting portion 18a of the option insulating plate 18 at a required position at a position where the option bus bar 16 is not mounted. Accordingly, as shown in FIG. 4A, a plurality of support legs 23 are provided in a projecting manner.

As shown in FIG. 4A, a support leg is provided on the outer peripheral portion of the bus bar mounting portion 19a of the common insulating plate 19 from the lower surface side at a position corresponding to the notch 22 provided in the optional insulating plate 18 and the vertical direction. 24 protrudes downward.

The support leg 23 projecting from the option insulating plate 18 and the support leg 24 projecting from the common insulating plate 19 have projecting lengths such that lower end surfaces 23a and 24a thereof abut against the upper surface of the printed circuit board 21, respectively. The grounding location is set to be an empty area of the printed circuit board 21.

When the option bus bar 16 is used, as shown in FIG. 4A, first, the support legs 23 of the option insulating plate 18 with the option bus bar 16 mounted on the upper surface of the printed circuit board 21 are placed. To fix the positioning.
Next, the respective support legs 24 of the common insulating plate 19 having the common bus bar 17 mounted on the upper surface thereof are inserted into the respective notches 22 of the optional insulating plate 18 from above to be fitted, so that FIG. As shown in FIG. 2, the support legs 24 of the shared insulating plate 19 on which the shared bus bar 17 is mounted are directly supported on the printed circuit board 21, and the shared bus bar 17 is held at a predetermined height H1. In addition, in the space S between the shared insulating plate 19 and the printed circuit board 21, an optional insulating plate 18 on which the optional bus bar 16 is mounted is disposed.

When the optional bus bar 16 is not required depending on the vehicle type and grade, it is sufficient to place only the shared insulating plate 19 on which the shared bus bar 17 is mounted on the printed circuit board 21 as shown in FIG. The shared bus bar 17 can be positioned and held at a predetermined height H1 by the support legs 24 protruding from the insulating plate 19.

As described above, the same common insulating plate 19 can be used for the insulating plate on which the common bus bar 17 is mounted, whether or not the optional bus bar 16 is used, and the common insulating plate 19 alone is always used. Since the shared bus bar 17 can be held at the required height H1, the parts cost can be reduced.
Further, unlike the prior art, when the optional bus bar 16 is not used, there is no need to intervene another member under the common insulating plate 19 or replace with another dedicated insulating plate. There is no need for proper use, the number of parts can be reduced, costs can be reduced, and workability is improved.

6A and 6B show a second embodiment of the present invention.
In the second embodiment, the common insulating plate 19 is provided with an inner support leg 25 projecting downward from the central portion inside the outer peripheral portion of the bus bar mounting portion 19a, and the optional insulating plate 18 is provided with the inner support leg. A through hole 26 through which the inner support leg 25 can penetrate is formed at a position corresponding to the vertical direction 25.
Since other configurations are the same as those of the first embodiment, the same reference numerals are given and description thereof is omitted.

The inner support leg 25 and the through hole 26 are formed at a position where the through hole 26 is not mounted on the optional insulating plate 18 and the lower end surface 25a of the inner support leg 25 is an empty area on the printed circuit board 21. Set to ground.

In the second embodiment, when the option bus bar 16 is used, the support leg 24 and the inner support leg 25 of the common insulating plate 19 are passed through the notch 22 and the through hole 26 of the option insulating plate 18, respectively. By fitting them and placing them on the printed circuit board 21, both the option bus bar 16 and the shared bus bar 17 can be positioned and held at predetermined positions.
Further, even when the optional bus bar 16 is not used, the same common insulating plate 19 as that when the optional bus bar 16 is used is used as in the first embodiment, and the support legs 24 of the shared insulating plate 19 are used. By supporting the inner support legs 25 on the printed circuit board 21, the shared bus bar 17 can be positioned and held at a predetermined height H1. Furthermore, since the shared bus bar 17 is supported by the inner support legs 25 supported by the printed circuit board 21, it is possible to prevent the shared bus bar 17 from sinking during fitting connection with the counterpart terminal.

7 and 8 show a third embodiment of the present invention.
In the third embodiment, the option insulating plate 18 is made smaller than the common insulating plate 19, and the common insulating plate 19 is provided with support legs 24 protruding from the outer peripheral portion of the bus bar mounting portion 19a. Also, the inner support legs 25 project from the portion where the option insulating plate 18 is not disposed on the lower surface side in the laminated state.
Since other configurations are the same as those of the above-described embodiment, the same reference numerals are given and description thereof is omitted.

Also in the third embodiment, as shown in FIGS. 8A and 8B, the same insulating plate on which the shared bus bar 17 is mounted is provided regardless of whether the optional bus bar 16 and the optional insulating plate 18 are installed. The shared insulating plate 19 can be used, and even when the optional bus bar 16 is not used, the shared bus bar 17 can be positioned and held at the predetermined height H1 only by the shared insulating plate 19. In addition, the common bus bar 17 can be prevented from sinking because the inner support legs 25 are directly supported on the printed circuit board 21 without interposing another member under the common insulating plate 19.
